I purchased these on Dec 16th of 2014. I only wear them during the cooler months = I would guess I have six months or less of use. In that small amount of time the lining has worn in several places on both slippers. I would rate this as poor quality.

I have only had these flannel lined slippers for 5 months and the lining in the heel area completely disintegrated and the flannel fabric pilled in other parts of the slipper. I only wear these slipped in the house. I was sent new replace slippers, customer service was GREAT!

Got for Xmas, "worn-out" by middle of March. Come on, now, less than three months life?! Really? Threads started coming loose in less than a WEEK. Worn through inner lining at both heels AND under both big toes.

First, the lack of the half-sizes is a drag. Next, I did try the next size up and it was quite big. Threafter, I replaced it with a half-size smaller and it fits with difficultly, but now the flannel has worn out with basically two months of wear (wore it briefly after I bought it last Spring and then again in January of this year) and boy, is it stinky. The exterior material looks quite good still, and I am a little miffed at the number of items I have bought from LLBean recently that have failed me.

Bought these for my husband for this past Xmas. Less than a months wear and the stitching that holds the soles onto the back of the slipper is all coming out.

To me, "slippers" imply casual shoes that can be slipped on the feet easily, not those that require a shoe horn, even without socks. Instead of the items conforming to my feet fater a shorth time, as stated, my feet had conformed to them. I kept wearing them (they do look good) when suddenly they started hurting my feet something awful'. I have not sent them back because in the meantime I have had a heart attack, I had ordered size 10, as I usually wear size 9-1/2 D.

Too bad about these slippers. I like the looks, but they are way too big. I've had a number of different makes of slippers in size 13, and they all fit. So, I'm going to be dinged $6 shipping for returning these. Oh, well. Live and learn.

I love these slippers, but will return them later this week. I have had them about 8 months now and the liner is falling to pieces. The liner looks like flannel, but it is apparently sprayed onto some kind of foam liner. For some reason, my pair have been disintegrating for the last couple months. At first I thought that it was a minor problem, but now the entire lining seems to be going. I like these slippers so much, I think that I will try the much more expensive pair with the leather lining - but the truth is that I am very disappointed in these slippers, because I really did like them a lot.

These are the most uncomfortable slippers I have ever worn. They are very tight in the forefoot and never do stretch to fit (as stated in the description). The flannel lining wore through in the heel area after only a few months.

I have purchased this product three time. The first to times the slippers were fantastic, lasted. This time, within two weeks the right inside bottom pealed back. Eventually this led to a hole, then the inferior sewing holding the bottom to the top let go and now my big toe is uncovered. The left slipper is following along the same path, the inner sole is not sturdy, though it once was. The sewing is all inferior. Perhaps the problem is at the factory.

These slippers are very narrow. Unless you have narrow feet do not purchase these slippers. I wore them despite the discomfort thinking they would stretch out but they didn't. In addition the flannel on the inside wore out after two months. They're a nice looking slipper and the shell material and stitching are excellent quality but the poor quality of the lining and poor fit give them an overall poor rating.

I live these bedroom slippers. They're well - made, comfortable on my feet, and come with a money-back guarantee if I;m ever dissatisfied with them. I'm glad I purchased them.

I'm a long time customer of L.L. Bean, used to enjoying good quality and customer service. Last Christmas I bought these slippers for my husband. The flannel wore out at the heels after 3 months, and they had a very bad odor that would not go away (I know what you're thinking - his other footwear doesn't have this problem). I called the company to see if they changed the materials on the slippers and was told no, but didn't want to take a chance on another bad pair, so purchased another brand elsewhere for his Christmas present this year.

I really wanted to like these slippers; they're well made and look like they would last for a long time. Unfortunately, they're *really* narrow. I mean my feet are narrow enough that I have some trouble finding shoes that will fit, but these were tight even for me. Unless you have extremely narrow feet, I'd suggest giving these a pass - or maybe going up a size. That might work.

Bought these to replace a Bean wicked slipper that had last me many years of hard wear. First two weeks, the laces both broke. I'll be returning them for a pair of wicked slip on's..no laces.

This is the fifth...5...pair of identical shoes I have had in about 10 years. #4 pair came narrower than previous 3 pairs. I have tried wetting them and stuffing with wet newspapers. Nothing helped. They are not the same shoe. Being my fifth pair, I feel like I should know. I have returned them as they are too narrow.. Disappointed L L Bean is not maintaining same supplier. I have ordered the leather slippers at an increase of $50.00. They arrived today and appear to be wider. Time will tell. I never have written a complaint but I am disappointed in my go to favorite house shoes. Gone but not forgotten. John I

I have ordered several pairs of these in the past in a 9 Medium which always fit perfectly. This time the 9 medium was too narrow so I will be returning them. Previous pairs have been comfortable 12 months of the year and have worn well. However a change in the width has made them unsuitable.

These shoes are for a ballerina foot if you have medium widh feet you might do well to look at something else. I am going to try and strech them because they are nice and well made. Verry narrow feet should be pleased!

Usually love LLBean products but this is two pairs of slippers ordered that had to be returned because they were way too narrow. They were not even close to a D width.

Be forewarned. THESE ARE NARROW. I bought to replace a 2 -year old pair. The soles of that pair disintegrated, became gooey, but I decided to try another pair and get a few years life out of them. I bought the same size as before, but this new pair is "miles" narrower. IMHO, not a D fit

The flannel lining is laminated to foam rubber. Both wore thru in just 3 months of normal wear. The holes are located at the heel and along the side of the foot opening. Find some without the flannel liner.

I was excited to finally splurge and get great LL Bean quality. The slippers certainly appeared to be constructed well of good materials. The problem was that they were quite uncomfortably narrow. I have NEVER bought wide shoes before. Every other shoe maker in my 46-year experience has never caused an issue. I am astonished frankly.

I wanted to replace my size 11 slippers which I had worn for some 4 years. So I ordered the same - a duplicate - but it appears that your manufacturer has skimped on leather and made the slipper narrower. I then tried size 12 and it was to long, but it, too, was narrow. I measured my original pair with the new....about 1/2 inch narrower. Sure had hoped but ....

They fit nicely, grip well and are comfortable. But they smell so badly I get a headache within minutes. I can't wear them inside and what is the point of an outdoor only slipper?
