I bought a similar slipper several years back and paid a premium for the deer hide. The crepe soles just do not last outdoor use (around the house) and will wear through with normal wear and tear within a year to year and a half. I would not recommend purchase of any of the slippers with crepe soles if you plan to use them outdoors.

I received these slippers for Christmas (Dec '08). It is now Jan ('09) and the stitching around the sole is coming apart and the flannel lining has holes in it and they aren't even a month old! Very poor quality considering the little wear they have gotten.

A most comfortable slipper that literally fell apart in just short of 12 months of daily use! The stiching came out and the lining wore down within a few months. I was really surprised how quickly it fell apart. At first, it is very comfortable, but it is not at all built to last.
Goodquality,

the flannel lining on these slippers on the sole, wear very quickly, I've had these replaced after only a few weeks and then the same thing has happened once again to the replacement pair, very disappointing, this is not LL Bean quality
