LL Bean made this same slipper with wool lining. It was extremely comfortable strong and supportive. It had a rubber sole for non slip and outdoor use. It was extremely comfortable. This slipper has felt lining and not comfortable at all. Tried it for a week and brought them back. You do have a similar model but with leather sole, very slippery on stairs and for inside use only. Even though they were expensive I am very disappointed that you discontinued that line. In fact if there are any leftovers I would be happy to buy a pair.

The slippers used to last years, the flannel lining used to last a long time. now I go through a pair about every 9 months. This latest pair also seems to have changed in size, and they seem bigger than before.

O.K. for the price. Not available in wide widths so must use shoe stretcher to make useable. Rubber sole wears out in heal after a few months wear as does lining.

Will be the last pair of slippers I purchase from L.L. Bean. The last pair, the liner wore out in less than a year, and this new pair, in less than a month, the liner is separating, tearing at the top edge. Have been wearing this same size, same slipper for many years, and steadily the quality is going downhill.

I love these shoes for when it is damp outside. The gum soles keep your feet dry but the flannel lining is JUNK!!! I got a pair for Christmas and 2 months later, they looked like I have had them 20 years and wore all day, everyday. The flannel lining was gone in the back of the shoe. I wear them at tops, 1 hour a day. This is the true definition of cheap labor outside of the US but pay a US made price. I'm used to the Bean Boot quality. I can't not recommend the shoe but don't expect it to last.

I purchased these in Nov 2019 as a gift for my husband's birthday. He has owned the fleece lined slippers in the past, but his old ones were completely worn out and he needed new ones. The fleece lined were not available in November, so I thought these flannel lined ones would be a good alternative.
Now in August, the flannel lining is shredded inside and full of holes and has completely worn off in the heel and toe areas. He does not wear these 24/7. I am pretty annoyed and will never buy the flannel lined slippers again.

I love the slipper, but after wearing it for awhile the inside lining has all torn out.It started tearing up, so I took off my socks, and tried to wear them that way, but the flannel lining still kept tearing out. So I put my socks back on to wear them. Now all the lining is gone. the outside of the slipper it still in great shape, so I will buy an insole and continue to wear them. The other pair I bought from you with the fleese lining, the lining is great, but the gum sole has torn loose. I still wear both pair of slippers, and will continue to buy them I just wish that the flannel lined slipper was better flannel so it would last as long as the slipper like the inside of the fleese slipper.

Nice looking slipper that has a durable sole. But the flannel lining wore completely through in three months of normal wear.

I bought these slippers for my partner a little over a year ago and over the past 6 months they have been falling apart. The bottom sole of the slipper has ripped open on both slippers. The inside of the slipper, the bottom flannel has ripped.
Pretty disappointed with the quality. I'd expect these to last for years and years. But just after about a year, they are pretty much junk. It's too bad because I love LL Bean and own many jackets, fleeces, boots.
If you're going to buy slippers from LL Bean, don't buy these ones. They will not last.

I have hardwood and tile floors throughout my home. I generally wear slippers all year. I was looking for something durable but not too warm (I have my Wicked Good slippers for the cold days). I settled on these, and for about a week, I was pleased with my decision. This past week however, I felt as though my sock had gotten bunched up under my heel somehow. I adjusted my sock, but the sensation continued. After a day of this, my heel was sore. I couldn't see or feel anything wrong in the slipper expect for a slight crease in the insole. Didn't wear they yesterday (wore clogs with absolutely no cushion) and my heal is fine.

Please bring back the FLEECE lined version!!! These flannel lined ones wear out way too fast on the inside and I won't buy another pair of them. I've had both types and the fleece interior one (that has now been discontinued for some reason), is far tougher.

The exterior of these slippers holds up just fine. The lining, however, is another story. After about a year, the lining had already started deteriorating. Now, two years in, the lining has completely warn through in several places. Years ago I had LL Bean flannel lined slippers that lasted for more than ten years, until I eventually wore through the rubber tread. What a disappointment this new model has been.

Quality was great but size was wrong -- way too narrow for an average width foot - had to return them.

Ordered size 11, that ALL my other footwear is, and they were too small. Sent them back for size 12, they fit better, I could at least get my foot in them, but were too tight on the width and the top of the heel is too stiff and rubs my heels. I would not recommend these slippers to anyone. They certainly are not up to LL Beans usual quality standards.

I bought a pair of these 4 years ago. I only wore them a few times each year and only on a carpeted floor. The outsole and uppers wore just fine. HOWEVER, the flannel lining started tearing in the 2nd year, got worse and is now in tatters and will have to toss them.
LL Bean will not replace them, as they are more than a year old. I get that some people obuse the return policy but I never have. The lining is cheap and thin and should have lasted much longer. Don't buy these if you want a linig that lasts!

It may be just me, but I need something that grabs my heel; I really hate anything like flip-flops. Tried getting a smaller size, but it was the same. These cause me to shuffle, and maybe for most folks that's OK for around the house. Will be returning.

I've enjoyed these slippers in the past but not this time. The left slipper was 1/4" narrower than the right one. Consequently it rubbed on the outside of my left small toe so I returned them and had to accept a $6.50 deduction for shipping from my reimbursement. This is the first time I've had to return an LL Bean product.

I would not buy this shoe again with a lining. Perhaps, without the lining, this shoe would be comfortable

I purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift. I liked these because they wouldn't be as hot on his feet. However, by the end of January they lining at the heel had already worn out. I was surprised that they didn't even last a month. The exterior is still in good shape.

I purchased a pair of these slippers several months ago. They look great and the fit was good. After a few weeks one of the slippers developed a loud squeak with every step. Not to be outdone, within a few more weeks the other slipper followed suit. Now anyone within earshot can hear me coming (or squeaking) as I approach. It is quite annoying. I thought about using 3in1 oil but wouldn't know where to apply it. Another issue is that the laces tend to open quite often no matter how tight I retie them.
