Nice looking slipper that has a durable sole. But the flannel lining wore completely through in three months of normal wear.

I bought these slippers for my partner a little over a year ago and over the past 6 months they have been falling apart. The bottom sole of the slipper has ripped open on both slippers. The inside of the slipper, the bottom flannel has ripped.
Pretty disappointed with the quality. I'd expect these to last for years and years. But just after about a year, they are pretty much junk. It's too bad because I love LL Bean and own many jackets, fleeces, boots.
If you're going to buy slippers from LL Bean, don't buy these ones. They will not last.

I have hardwood and tile floors throughout my home. I generally wear slippers all year. I was looking for something durable but not too warm (I have my Wicked Good slippers for the cold days). I settled on these, and for about a week, I was pleased with my decision. This past week however, I felt as though my sock had gotten bunched up under my heel somehow. I adjusted my sock, but the sensation continued. After a day of this, my heel was sore. I couldn't see or feel anything wrong in the slipper expect for a slight crease in the insole. Didn't wear they yesterday (wore clogs with absolutely no cushion) and my heal is fine.

Please bring back the FLEECE lined version!!! These flannel lined ones wear out way too fast on the inside and I won't buy another pair of them. I've had both types and the fleece interior one (that has now been discontinued for some reason), is far tougher.

The exterior of these slippers holds up just fine. The lining, however, is another story. After about a year, the lining had already started deteriorating. Now, two years in, the lining has completely warn through in several places. Years ago I had LL Bean flannel lined slippers that lasted for more than ten years, until I eventually wore through the rubber tread. What a disappointment this new model has been.

Quality was great but size was wrong -- way too narrow for an average width foot - had to return them.

Ordered size 11, that ALL my other footwear is, and they were too small. Sent them back for size 12, they fit better, I could at least get my foot in them, but were too tight on the width and the top of the heel is too stiff and rubs my heels. I would not recommend these slippers to anyone. They certainly are not up to LL Beans usual quality standards.

I bought a pair of these 4 years ago. I only wore them a few times each year and only on a carpeted floor. The outsole and uppers wore just fine. HOWEVER, the flannel lining started tearing in the 2nd year, got worse and is now in tatters and will have to toss them.
LL Bean will not replace them, as they are more than a year old. I get that some people obuse the return policy but I never have. The lining is cheap and thin and should have lasted much longer. Don't buy these if you want a linig that lasts!

It may be just me, but I need something that grabs my heel; I really hate anything like flip-flops. Tried getting a smaller size, but it was the same. These cause me to shuffle, and maybe for most folks that's OK for around the house. Will be returning.

I've enjoyed these slippers in the past but not this time. The left slipper was 1/4" narrower than the right one. Consequently it rubbed on the outside of my left small toe so I returned them and had to accept a $6.50 deduction for shipping from my reimbursement. This is the first time I've had to return an LL Bean product.

I would not buy this shoe again with a lining. Perhaps, without the lining, this shoe would be comfortable

I purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift. I liked these because they wouldn't be as hot on his feet. However, by the end of January they lining at the heel had already worn out. I was surprised that they didn't even last a month. The exterior is still in good shape.

I purchased a pair of these slippers several months ago. They look great and the fit was good. After a few weeks one of the slippers developed a loud squeak with every step. Not to be outdone, within a few more weeks the other slipper followed suit. Now anyone within earshot can hear me coming (or squeaking) as I approach. It is quite annoying. I thought about using 3in1 oil but wouldn't know where to apply it. Another issue is that the laces tend to open quite often no matter how tight I retie them.

Pros: Good looking. Comfortable. Well made. Good stitching. Durable exterior.
Cons: 2nd pair I've owned and the same problem with the interior lining - worn thru in less than 6 months! I believe it could be a breath ability issue, since my feet begin to sweat within an hour of putting these slippers on. Heels tend to wear out first. Some sort of ventilation may be helpful to dissipate moisture. Sending back and requesting a gift card. Will continue to order other merchandise from LLBean.

I work from home and I bought these to basically function as "house shoes" for the winter. I specifically wanted a flannel lining as the shearling is too warm for me to wear several hours at a time. The leather upper looks fantastic and the sole is holding up well, however the lining has totally worn through in the heel after 4 months. These will not last another season as the padding is disintegrating where the lining does not protect it. I would not recommend these other than for occasional morning/evening wear.

I got these as a gift in October 2018. By January 2019 the flannel lining inside was worn out. Pieces coming out under the toes and the heel wearing down and deteriorating. When they were new they were super comfortable but now I barley wear them.

Very comfortable but the fabric on the inside wore out in multiple places in 4 months. Really disappointed because other than the slippers quickly wearing out they are great.

Stiff leather type material, runs narrow, rubs tip of toes. Likely return. LLBean bring back the soft leather slippers from previous that were made in Canada.

Great style, fit, warmth, and comfort. The sole is grippy and supple. No complaints on that and I love wearing these slippers. However... I have had the slippers for just 3 weeks and the lining on the heel of the left slipper is ripped (see pictures). The lining on the right slipper is on its way. I wear these indoors only, barefoot only, and am not doing anything active in them. I previously had these same slippers for 3 years with the shearling lining and they lasted much longer before the lining wore out. I'm pretty disappointed that the rest of the slipper is made very sturdy and the liner is definitely the weak point. Worse yet, these slippers don't come with a more sturdy leather liner option.
My other complaint is the leather laces do not stay tied. The leather is too stiff and the knot won't stay seated This is a nitpicky complaint, though.

The shoes were well made and looked very nice.
My problem was with the width.
They were very narrow. They fit so tight they made my feet hurt and caused them to be extremely cold.
I returned them and bought a less quality shoe.
If LL Bean had offered them in a wide I would have gladly exchanged them.
The return process was easy but a little expensive.

We were SO disappointed in these slipperss. I bought two pair, 13 D and 14D. Both pair were extremely narrow in the toe box. You would not be able to wear a sock and get your foot comfortably in this slipper. They also run 1/2 size too short. The craftmanship is beautiful, the leather and construction is excellent. If only they fit a normal foot......I returned both pair.

My husband got a pair of these 3 years ago and the lining wore out in about 3 months. I bought him another pair the following year, and the following year, and the following year, and the lining wore out in about 3 months on all 4 pairs. The lining wears out and goes right to the white stuff under the flannel lining. He likes the rest of slipper so I was going to buy him ANOTHER pair until I saw that the slipper is $49.95 and you get free shipping on purchases over $50.00! Seriously? I'm taking my business elsewhere.
