Good looking slippers and well made...however for the size 10M they are way to tight on the forward foot area....basically too narrow. I keep thinking they will "stretch out " to fit better....but ...it is not happening.

I'm on my third pair of these slippers. First two were great. This one is less than great. Flannel lining wore out in a couple of months. Uppers are still fine. Soles are ice-slick when wet. After taking a couple of hard falls from small water spills on the kitchen floor, these have gone in the trash before I break something. L.L. Bean products have steeply declined in quality lately, in my opinion. I've enjoyed their products for 40+ years, but have been really disappointed in the last few purchases.

I bought these slippers in October 2021 and its March 2022 and the flannel lining has started to come apart. I think any flannel (not just LL BEAN) would come apart so i think that this is just a bad lining choice for the slipper. Comfortable overwise.

Unfortunately, this pair, in a 9, was too large. Usually, a 9 will do it for me, but I could stick a finger or two into the heel area due to the excess length of the size.
Even snugging the laces down as much as possible did nothing. so, apparently, you have to be careful on picking a size. Otherwise, a nice shoe.

Initially these slippers were great. Then the problems began. The soles separated from the leather in multiple places. Called normal wear and tear by store employee. I replaced with slippers from a competitor once it was clear that LL Bean does not stand behind its products

They fit well and had good cushioning but they smell terrible. The slippers have a strong chemical smell like industrial adhesive or cleaner. I wore them one night and our house smelled like a chemical factory. Even my dog reacted to the odor. I put them in the garage and have even set them outside in the sun and wind but now a month later they still stink. I have a pair of zip up Storm Chaser boots that had a strong odor that I could smell in the house also but over time it has dissipated.

My dad wore this style of slippers while I was growing up. I like them so much I wear them, too. They used to be made with a high quality lining that was comfortable, warm, and lasted a long time. The flannel lining pales in comparison. It has not lasted with the same longevity as previous pairs of slippers. I am very disappointed in the quality of the lining. I wore out completely after only a short time. The outside construction looks like new with all stitching still intact. Please change the lining to a higher quality one.

Fit okay. Quality has dropped off a bit. This is the 5 th pair I've ordered over the years. Leather shoe lace broke in less that a week. Sent back for an exchange and haven't heard anything back in almost a month.

The slippers I received were mismatched in width. The right shoe was a correct fit, but the left was much wider...length was OK. This made for a sloppy fit on my left foot. Disappointing! Returned shoes.

Please please please bring back the old shearling lining. Or if not that, then something more durable than this thin flannel. It just doesn't last very long and is all torn and worn through in a very short time. Won't waste money on these again until improvements to the lining are made.

These slippers seem to be designed for people with very narrow feet, which was surprising given that I'm a slim light weight guy. I had to take them to a shoe repair shop to get them stretched. I had tried the next larger size in the LLbean store and those were too long but still too narrow in the front. Disappointing. I buy most of my clothes at LLBean because they fit so well and last a really long time.

There's a huge difference between the comfort level of these and my old pair that I really need to let go of. Same size and width, but the toe area in these is significantly narrower and the leather isn't as soft. I'm keeping them because I'm too lazy to return them and I'm working at the leather in the hopes they break in, but so far they're a big disappointment. Honestly, I'm going to keep embarrassing my family by duct taping over the holes in the the soles of my old ones because they are so comfortable.

I received these as a Christmas gift. I want to love them because the leather and sole are fantastic, but the flannel inside and insoles are terrible. They tore within the first year and I'm not hard on my slippers. A year or two later and I still wear them, but they're incredibly annoying, because I can feel the torn fabric at my toes.
Slippers aren't covered by the warranty. I'm hoping to find some slim insoles to remedy this issue.

LL Bean made this same slipper with wool lining. It was extremely comfortable strong and supportive. It had a rubber sole for non slip and outdoor use. It was extremely comfortable. This slipper has felt lining and not comfortable at all. Tried it for a week and brought them back. You do have a similar model but with leather sole, very slippery on stairs and for inside use only. Even though they were expensive I am very disappointed that you discontinued that line. In fact if there are any leftovers I would be happy to buy a pair.

The slippers used to last years, the flannel lining used to last a long time. now I go through a pair about every 9 months. This latest pair also seems to have changed in size, and they seem bigger than before.

O.K. for the price. Not available in wide widths so must use shoe stretcher to make useable. Rubber sole wears out in heal after a few months wear as does lining.
