I have a pair that were given to me for Christmas. I asked for them because I thought the rubber sole would be safer on stairs - and they are! I also like the concept of the flannel lining. However, the flannel and padding wore through within a couple months and the rubber sole started to come unstitched. The leather remains quite nice. I still wear them, but wouldn't buy them again for fear of durability issues. I would have returned them, but at the time was living outside of Maine and it wasn't convenient. BTW, I have also had the moose hide slippers. I've been wearing those since 1985. The first pair lasted 1985 till about 2010 - amazing! The second pair wore through the leather sole in a couple months. Bean replaced them and the third pair have been doing well since. I had hoped these flannel lined, rubber soled slippers would be just as good. Alas.

These slippers look great but don't last. The leather is wonderful. The lining and padding in bottom wear out within months. The soles, which are sewn on, are coming loose
(less than a year old.) I expect a pair of slippers to last a bit longer than 6 months. I feel, the quality at ll bean has gone down. I used to expect what I bought here would be well made. Not true lately.

Well made, true to size. However, I had to return them. Excessive friction on my ankle and instep caused blisters. Problematic for a diabetic.

Unfortunately the seam by the tongue of the shoe is bothersome and rubs and irritates slightly. Needs flannel all the way up sown on underside of tongue

My normal shoe size is 9.5 to 10. I ordered a size 10 which I couldn't even squeeze into. I returned them for size 11 which fell off my feet.

This is my third pair of your flannel-lined slippers. While the other two were wonderful and lasted for years, this pair is not living up to its predecessors. I've had them for three months. The lining is already wearing, the lace on one slipper will not stay tied, but the most aggravating problem is that they SQUEAK loudly! I can't tell what part of the slippers squeak, but it's a problem with both slippers. I can be heard throughout the house.

These slippers tend to rub against the outside of my ankles. I find them uncomfortable to wear. I shall return them. This may not be an issue for everyone.

Sizing way small. I normally wear a 14med. These have Moccasin-style uppers stitched to a rigid and narrow inflexible polymer sole in a way that succeeds in preventing the Moccasin uppers from accommodating your natural foot shape. Otherwise would have been nice.

The uppers on these slippers are great, however, the soles started wearing holes after 18 months. I only wear these inside the house. My next slippers will be leather soles! Don't buy if your looking for a long-lasting slipper.

Misrepresented as a D width, they are loose in the heel and tight in the toe box. I have narrow feet and these fit tight even though I ordered a half size larger than my shoe size. Disappointed.

Very stiff. Outer top edge rubs on that outer, roundish, ankle bone that sticks out. Not comfortable for me personally.

Need better outsole! Wavery and crumbling! Another pair did the same!

On my second pair in 6 months and they're already worn through again. Exchanged the first pair and won't be getting another. Comfortable while they last, but they just don't last anymore. Seems like they changed the materials and product has suffered for it.

This is my third pair of slippers and the quality has declined with each pair as the price increased. This will be my last pair.

These slippers did not work very well for me. They only come in one width witch is too narrow for me.

Slippers looked like they had scuff marks all over them right out of the box.

Toe was very narrow. Seems to be quality made. Returned for a wider version.

They appear well made and warm, but as several other reviewers have commented here, I found them to be too narrow in the toe box. I usually wear a normal "D" width.

I've had thes for 2 years, love them and use them inside and out. But I truly hate the laces for the same reason that OVER 100 of your Customers have mentioned on this website. I'm quite surprised that nothing has ever been done in over a decade about this issue. I will wear these until they are dead, but I will NOT buy a replacement unless you get rid of the laces (they serve no purpose whatsoever) or figure out to keep them tied! Or , provide a different low slip-on slipper with no fleece liningthe flannel is perfect, don't want leather lining either.
Cmonguys, seriously, fix this!

I wear a 8.5 in a popular sneaker brand and my last pair of LL Bean slippers were an 8. The size 7.0 slippers I recently bought are half a size too large. Durability doesn't seem to match previous slippers I've purchased from LL Bean. Disappointing.

I wear a normal size 8 or 8 1/2. LL Bean said to order size 9. They were way too small. And the shoelaces won't stay tied.

Did not fit - returned. I've been happy with and worn out 2 pairs of these slippers, but this new pair with identical specs are different and do not fit the same. Although I ordered the same medium width, they are much narrower and too tight. I know they stretch, but not this much. Ordering next size will not help- these are long enough but can't squeeze into.
