Beautifully made and designed. Even thou my husband has a narrow foot these slipper are "wicked" snug. He has been wearing them with socks to try to stretch them out. If this doesn't work we will return them. LL Bean is wonderful on returning items.

These slippers have everything going for them, including a great price. My problem was that within weeks of getting them the flannel inside wore into a hole on one slipper and was near that on the other. So I sent them back and swapped for the fleece...which I would rate with 5*. Size and quality wise, these slippers are outstanding and (with the fleece) will no doubt last for years.

Great feel & look. Very confortable. LL Bean needs to fix the fact that the flannel lining wears out in a few months & the leather laces do not stay tied. I have had 3 pairs of these slippers and this problem has not been corrected. I tried to upgrade to the more expensive slipper (69.99) but slipper is way to big and not as comfortable. I am now looking elswhere for new slippers.

The slippers are nice quality, but I will be sending them back, because they are way too big for my husband, even wearing socks. We also thought the bottoms would be more "slip-resistant." He is very hard to fit for shoes without trying them on, so perhaps others would find they fit well. We ordered the size he usually wears.

I purchased this slipper because of its hard to soil, easy to clean, smooth leather exterior (rather than suede) and its flannel lining for summer wearing and ease of slipping it on and off. It does all of these things well and is quite comfortable. Unfortunately, after only 4 months of moderately frequent wearing, the flannel lining is frayed and worn though in several spots. Disappointing lack of durability.

You no longer make the original slippers my husband LOVED. These are OK. The old ones had a real sole so he could go outside with them. These look too flimsey to really do a little outside work with them.

My husband has these shoes and LOVES them so I ordered my dad a pair for his birthday. I was disapointed that they are too narrow for him. These are great shoes and I wish you would look into expanding your line to include wide width. I would buy a pair today!

These would be a good buy at 40 bucks if they had some arch support or a thin gel sole. They are comfortable for lounging if the house is warm or it's a fall or spring day. The flannel on the old ones may have been more wear resistant than the new ones. I find fleece very hot, so these are the best compromise, even if they are overpriced...

Nice slippers, but: I ordered my normal size which is 10. These were at least an inch too long, more like a size 11, and very wide (EE?). I exchanged them for 9's, which were too tight - had to return them. Out of luck :o(

The slippers are very versitile and comfortable. Several of the reviews complained about the slippers easily untying, when the shoes fit properly with wear, I epoxy the ties. However, don't leave the slippers outside in warm (79 degree) weather as the crepe soles melt and become sticky.

These slippers are comfy, warm and I wish I could say durable. I'm on my 3rd and last pair. The insides come apart in the upper portion of the slipper and always the right foot and not on a seem. However..I'm not giving up just yet! Like I said, I'm on my 3rd pair :)

I ordered the tan colored slippers. I was very disappointed when I opened the package and saw the actual color. The color was more yellow than tan. I will be sending them back. I think the overall quality was very good. Besides the color, I don't have any other problem with them. The picture on the web page did not properly reflect the actual color. I don't think that many men want yellow slippers.

Love the slippers, my second pair, but the have worn out the liners in a relatively short time. Will return first pair to LL's but as far as the slipper goes super comfortable and they keep their shape.

Slippers are great. Confortable and fit well. However there is one drawback with the lined slippers. The lining tends to wear down after only a few months. I bought these slippers in Dec. and the lining is just about worn through. Improve the lining and they just may last forever.

The slippers were very comfortable but after 6 months, the flannel liner on the heal of each slipper wore holes in them.

These slippers are very comfy and very "shoe-like" which I prefer, but I got holes in the flannel lining at the heel and big toe after after 3 months of regular wear. I returned that pair and the same thing happened with the next pair. If you only wear them very occasionally they will probably last longer, but as my daily house shoe they did not last for me.

Bought husband a sz 14 as all of his shoes are 14. They were huge, so exchanged them for a 13, and they too are oversized. Now need to return the second pair for a sz 12! The cost of returning them repeatedly has made this a worthless venture.

These slippers just don't feel comfortable after you start seeing them. Took me a while to break in and widen them. Now the bottom sole is bubbling. As you walk it bunches up and creates ripples under your feet. Feel like it's come unglued from the sole. This is not what my previous pair did. I wish Bean was still the same as when I grew up. If it doesn't last or fail bring it back whenever.

Bought for my husband less than two years ago and the flannel has hole's inside of both slippers. He also has the fur lined and they are fine.

Have been buying the flannel-lined slippers once a year for 32 years and have always loved them. This year the soles were so hard they would hardly bend to take a step and the leather uppers were also too stiff. So disappointed in the quality. I don't know what has changed but these are not the same as always. They were not even the same color as the older 2 pairs in my closet.

These are the most uncomfortable slippers I've ever bought from LL Bean. The flannel lining is very thin and doesn't cover the tongue, the leather is very stiff with sharp edges.

I wear a size 9 shoe and thought these would be great. But, my toe feels like it is touching the toe of the slipper. Since they only come in whole sizes I had to return them.
