Nice leather uppers with flannel lining. However the flannel does not go all the way up the tongue leaving an exposed sewed ridge that digs into the top of your foot. Not a problem if you wear socks with these slippers. The sole material is without form and tends to roll my ankle outward.

My husband has had a pair of these for 10 years. I bought him a new pair for Christmas, same exact size as the old ones. These new ones are are narrow and tight. It's expected that they would feel tighter than the old ones, and need to break in, but he has tried wearing them around the house and they are painfully uncomfortable for him. He has a normal to narrow width foot, so he usually doesn't have a problem with shoes being too narrow. The quality of the product seem fine. Will exchange for bigger size, but am fearing they will be too big.

My foot is between an 8.5 and 9, so I ordered a 9. Makes sense. But they are too tight (narrow), and hard to get on. But if I ordered the next size up, that would be too big. I think with time, the leather will soften up and they'll be okay, so I'll keep them. But I was expecting better quality for the price. A lot of "buts" in this review.

My husband wore his first pair of these slippers until they fell apart (took quite a while). He wears a 91/2 to 10 shoe. They were a size 10. Ordered another size 10 pair last year and they were too narrow and tight. Returned them. Tried again this year and they also are too narrow. Wish these came in wide width.

As cheaply made slippers go, these are among the best. They tend to be a narrow fit and are a bit harder to get on/off. They will last 1-1.5 years. Not too bad for this price. I generally look for a sale price to offset the shipping cost. They are truly all-weather and can be worn rain or snow. The interior of the shoe will start breaking down after 9 months to one year. The heel of the shoe will have a hole in a bit more than a year. A quality that is worth the price when on sale.

I've been wearing these slippers for the last 5 years and never had a problem with them fitting or lasting a long time. This pair does not fit like the last 2 pairs. , really needed a new pair. Oh well. Thanks

Purchased several pairs over the years. The flannel lining tends to wear out too soon. Switched to the fleece lined at the same price. The fleece lining is without question a great value. Unfortunately it looks like the fleece lined has been discontinued. Would like to see the fleece lining make a comeback. I do not recommend the flannel lined slippers.

I've bought the same style at least 4 times over the years, and now there is a slight re-design that results in the length being longer. I have always been a size 8 in shoes and these slippers, but I had to exchange these for a size 7 (no half sizes) because they were too long. So the 7s are now snug but I'm assuming they will stretch enough to be comfortable.

I really like these slippers, but the flannel lining wears out prematurely. Not sure I would buy them again.

These are great slippers I absolutely love the look and fit. I pretty much wear them every day when I get home from work. They are perfect for around the house, in the grass to take out my dog and to the mailbox to get the mail. Not too hot for a North Carolina summer (inside) and perfect for sitting on the deck in the fall and winter. My only complaint is the flannel lining. It really isn't up to LL Bean standards in my opinion. This is my 4th pair of these slippers in 4 years. My last 3 pair still looked like new on the outside and the flannel lining was worn completely away. The last pair was about 10 months old. I looked everywhere for something that would look at fit similar but couldn't find anything so I ordered another pair.

I have owned at least half a dozen pair of these slippers. I really liked them. The last couple pairs came unstitched at the toe very quickly. Maybe L.L. Bean has changed their stitching procedure. I still like them but I wish they were more durable.

I ordered my customary size 10. They only come in D width and I usually wear a EE, but since they were slippers I figured no big deal. It was. The size 10 were way too small and I could not get them on my feet even with a shoe horn. So, back they went (at my expense) and I ordered a size 11. Even with wool socks on I can tell these are going to be way too big, especially after break in. I guess in Maine it's a big jump between 10 and 11. Oh well, they are just slippers, not hiking boots, so I'll keep them and let you know how they wear in. As an aside, the second set, the 11s, contained a lot more documentation and were better packed than the first set, the 10s. I get the impression the first set was a return that was never inspected for all the stuff that should have been in the box. The slippers look good and are made of good material. I just wish they fit better. It's a shame as I am a frequent footwear customer of LL Bean (mostly the Rockport Walkers etc). I'll hold off on recommendations until these wear in.

These are made in Myanmar, as such they run small. The size 13 length is closer to an 11-1/2 and the width for someone with a size 13 is WAY too narrow. Bean should require this foreign manufacturer to use American shoe lasts that are true to American sizes. Construction seems good, lining is nice, sole materials seem well bonded/attached, only had them a few months and wearing them only occasionally due to size issues has not allowed any durability assessment.

About 5 years ago I ordered the same slipper in the same size for my husband when these arrived they didn't fit because they were too narrow. They are well made, but the size wasn't the same. So, I returned them and ordered another pair thinking perhaps it was just a problem with the one pair. Same thing with the 2nd pair. He doesn't have wide feet either. Maybe the leather would stretch over time, but I returned them. They really are nice slippers otherwise.

I bought these slippers about 4 months ago and the flannel lining started wearing out a little more than a month later. LL Bean was great about replacing them with with the idea that it was just a defective pair. Well, less than a month after receiving the replacements, the lining has already worn through to the foam underneath in the heel. The liner in these slippers is just very poor quality in an otherwise great item. The leather upper and sole are top quality. The flannel liner is not.

I loved my previous slippers, but these are too narrow, and the flannel lining wore out almost immediately. I prefer the rubber outsole and the $50 price, but I may have to look at other slippers for the first time in probably 20 years. So sad.

after several weeks, still a tight fit. had to leave them with some shoe trees for several days to stretch a little. still very snug in length. hoping they will become more comfortable over time; not so much as of now.

It was time to replace my old bean slippers. They did not have my old they lasted so long I guess they discontinued. These looked close to my old ones they are alright a wee bit tight and a wee bit small. Not what I expect from llbean. They are a good slipper and are made well I would recommend one size bigger and wider than you think.

I love the slippers. This is my 3rd pair. The first pair is still ok except the lining is wore out Hope this pair lasts longer. Have you heard from other customers that the lining wears out before the slippers do????

Great comfort and feel but nothing can keep the leather strings tied. Not even the LL Bean technique.

As stated in the title, these are great slippers (grippy soles, comfy, nice looking, etc.) with the major caveat that the flannel lining may as well be tissue paper as quickly as it gets shredded. I wear these every day during the fall and winter months and indoor only; it only took about two months for the lining to have developed holes, which is a shame because the rest of the slipper is very well made and should last years. The pictures I included are after about a year of seasonal use. Note: I normally wear a 10.5 and ordered a half size up to 11 and they fit properly.

First, I don't recommend clothing to anyone hence the wouldn't recommend. The problem here is that my aging feet don't fit into LLBean's one width fits all approach. I tried ordering a bigger size but that did not help. These slippers are useful for their versatility and providing only a single width takes away from this.
