These shoes are great! Right out of the box, I put them to the test in rugged hill hiking. No break in time, comfortable like tennis shoe, but rugged and sturdy. And still they look great for casual wear. I highly recommend them!

Perfect fit out if the box. No break-in required. Very well made and comfortable from the first steps. The sole cushions your steps nicely without being "spongy". Tread pattern doesn't pick up soil.

These are brilliant. I love LL Bean shoes because they are sturdy and offer wide sizes. These oxfords are perfect for my work days. They needed no break-in period and did well in the abundant rain here. The color is a bit darker and richer than the photo, which was a pleasant surprise. There is nothing I would change. By the way, I also have Stonington moc toe shoes. Also extremely comfortable and sturdy.

My husband says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had.

Bought these for my husband for his everyday shoes. He likes the look of them and says they are very comfortable. They go well with jeans and slacks too.

The shoes are great, especially for our winter weather. I found that the sizes run a bit "big," i.e. the "10" in these shoes fits me well, whereas my other leather shoes are "10.5" I actually ordered both sizes and wore them inside a few days just to be sure.

It's great shoe, and feels very good, for long walks. However the toe part is too stiff, it feels like a work boots.

My shoes arrived sooner than I expected. They fit perfectly and felt like I'd been wearing them for months ratner than minutes as soon as I put them on. I'm very pleased with the way they look. I expect to wear them every day for for as long as they last. My last pair (Bass shoes) lasted for at least 15 years of daily wear. I recomnend these shoes.

This shoe needed no break-in period and if fit well out-of-the box. It is a very dark brown per the description - darker than the picture. This product is a leather shoe. The word sneaker shouldn't be used in the product description. Adjust your expectations. If you buy Sketcher Relaxed Fit shoes, I recommend the wide width on these.

I bought these for a long overseas trip where I wanted something to be able to wear to a nice restaurant as well as walk all over town. I only had a week or two before the trip to break them in but they were comfortable right out of the box. I was very pleased with how well they worked and how the soles were non-slip. They are comfortable, sturdy, and nice looking.

This is a practical shoe (the second pair I've purchased) which I wear on my daily hikes in the Tennessee mountains where I live. It stands up to rocky paths and occasional fast-running books.

Very sharp looking, good construction, comfortable, casual shoe. For everyday wear, I'm retired so dress shoes are not in the wardrobe for me. Need a wide fit and LL comes through again. Liked the price too, very affordable.

I felt right at home on our Maine vacation wearing LL Bean shoes. I had knee replacement surgery the prior month and still managed to walk 25 miles in 6 days around Camden and Bar Harbor. The Oxfords looked good and were a great walking shoe.
