Excellent quality, really well constructed. Styling is classic and goes well with most anything casual or for a rugged outdoor adventure. Oh, and comfortable too!

He loved them however with age his heel has become more narrow and because se of movement formed hot spots ready to become blisters. We had to return them. We wish the short boot like shoes he has currently were still in your inventory.

I've had a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes over the years, but these felt very good immediately and even better the longer I've worn them. Very happy with the fit and they seem well-made. Not only that, I've gotten compliments on the way they look.

My second review of this fine shoe..After living with and wearing this shoe for several months i find it a very valuable shoe in my collection..i have worn it every day for work and play and it is very comfortable in my size 12..It has become my go to shoe to take me anywhere..Bean dont mess with this one it's a winner..Thanks...

Very high quality leather. A little heavier than I was expecting, which is a good thing for me. Took about 1-2 weeks to break in, now they are very comfortable. They are probably a half size big, and I like the width of them. Only complaint is that the shoe laces come undone very easily. I am an engineer, and I can use these for my office and field work no problem.

I haven't bought shoes from L.L Bean in quite awhile, but am not surprised that they are an exact fit and so very comfortable with my orthotics.

Well built, rugged, good looking and comfortable. Goes good with jeans at work. Less bulky than a regular "work boot". A little on the wide side so If you have narrow feet, they could be a bit "roomy". I recommend these shoes.

Been wearing these for over a month. very true to size, built rugged, high quality leather, Can't comment on sole wear/duration at this time. There is plenty of room in toe box and at lace point. If you have a narrow foot, these "could be" too roomy. I recommend these shoes rugged looking good with jeans at work.

My husband finds these are the best shoes to go from his architecture office to construction site visits. Very comfortable and versatile. This is his second pair. They are durable and classic, a great value.

Of course I was concerned with sizing since it's hard buy shoes without trying them on..I wear a size 12 in almost all shoes so thats what I ordered. This shoe fits like it should and I am very pleased with the leather and shoe quality..It also has a firm and stable sole that makes walking very easy..I use these for work and taking walks and they are xcellent for both..Glad I bought them and would buy again...Thanks Bean

For this shoe's intended usage I needed ample room in the toe area. It has it. Comfortable otherwise as well. Early on at least, looks like toe area won't develop creasing in the leather on top. Excellent color. A kind of dressy casual look. Laces tend to untie, so double knot them. Initially bought a 14 but had to return. 13 working out better. Would recommend to a friend. Was thinking about treating the leather for waterproofing. Research said that's not a good idea.

Good fit. Too early to rate durability but if reasonably good these shoes are winners.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. Formal enough for the office but casual and comfortable as well as durable. I can wear these to the office but also on the weekend on a casual date. Love the color and the treaded soles which is great for the slippery New England Parking lots.

I bought the shoes for my son for a Christmas gift. He tried them on and loved them.

My husband has difficulty finding shoes that work for him. Phew! Theses did. The only issue was that he had to change the shoelaces as even double tied they untied while walking the dog.
