This is a good looking very comfortable shoe. The color is a nice chocolate brown with a texture similar to suede. I have large feet (size 13) and these shoes fit true to size. This is a deep shoe, some people will like that some won't. I wear boots for a living so the deep shoe is something I like. These shoes allow for a heavier knit sock. I highly recommend!

got these shoes in my normal wide size to do work in the backyard. They are very sturdy, but also roomy and comfortable enough to wear around the house or for errands.

Out of the box these seem really well made. True to size and insanely comfortable.

I was looking for a casual shoe that did not have an aggressive tread that would pick up and hold pebbles and mud. This shoe does have a tread, but much less severe.

These shoes are comfortable to wear right out of the box, and always a quality product!

I bought these a year or two ago in-store and they quickly became my go-to shoes for... basically everything! They look nice enough for going out to a restaurant (assuming it's not black tie level dining) and for casual office wear, yet hold up well for walking the dog in bad weather and New England ice. For me the fit of 10 M was perfect, and the overall cushioning keeps your feet and back comfortable throughout the day. Easy to maintain, I periodically applied leather protection to them to keep the water or snow from seeping in, and they easily clean up if I got dust, dirt or mud on them. I'm about to buy an identical pair because the soles are wearing down (again, after near daily usage for a year or more) but the upper section still looks great. If I could, I'd just get them re-soled; I don't think that's an option though, but I have no complaints at all.

Very comfortable replacement for my workday shoes. Ran a bit larger than expected but after dropping a half size they've been perfect.

Have always worn 11 d sneakers, 10.5 d shoes. Went with 10.5 medium and thought it was right initially, but concluded it was too big. Tried a 10 d and it also seemed right initially but in walking around the house a bit I realized still too big. One more try with 9.5 d solved it. Have not worn 9.5 at all in my adult life. Here is what I think - Stoningtons run a bit wide, and consequently your foot tends to go deeper into the toe of the shoe, leaving a gap at the heel if you foot is not quite wide enough. Bottom line - I had to size down a full size, but the fit is great and I really like the shoes. Service by the way was excellent through.

Very comfortable all-purpose shoes. Good heel support and sole is good for all types of terrain.

Very pleased with these for waterproof snow and rain shoes that can be dressed up or down. These replace waterproof Rockports whose soles wore down due to inferior rubber. The flat sole on these Stoningtons is more stable than a separate heel. The tread is grippy on snow and ice. The fit is perfect for my 9.5 wide feet.

I was tired of buying sneaker like shoes and this shoe caught my attention. Feels like a sneaker looks lots better. Also, this shoe easily takes on all your casual dress needs. I did find that I needed to size down half size and go with a wider width than usual. Very comfortable as well.

Bought online - I've always worn 10.5 d in shoes, but 11 d in sneakers. Went with the 10.5 d and got it right. Beautiful casual oxfords, great with jeans. Had high hopes and very pleased.

The shoe is comfortable and supportive yet due to the composition of the sole it's much lighter than other shoes of this design. The sole provides good cushioning as well. Highly recommended.

4-1/2 stars. My husband needed a new pair of shoes for wearing to work. Although he would have liked something a touch more dressy looking (less "rugged"), these look good, fit well, and seem like they will last. I'm happy!

great shoe. Putting them on for the first time, was like putting one on I had worn for many times.

Best all around dress/casual shoe I've found in years. Looks great with dress pants, hiking pants (my summer casual pant) and jeans (my winter casual pant). Soles grippy without gathering mud or stones. I wear these with thin wool over the calf socks. Can wear all day without any discomfort.

Love these shoes only wish they came in black too.

Great shoe; tops in cold and/or wet weather. Great match with jeans or khakis.
