Purchased two pairs of flip flops to replace my older llbean Maine Isle one's. These are nothing like the ones I have. The rubber is very hard and not as flexible. I'm a half size so I ordered down, my mistake. They are smaller than my older pair when comparing them together. Not a happy camper!

I've been buying these flip flops for years, and I've always loved them for their fit, sturdiness, and great wear. This summer, I bought a new pair, and they have worn out so fast! Normally, I can get at least a year and a half of use out of a pair (as in, every day use for ~8 months out of the year), but this year, after just four months, the main body has really compacted, and the bottom layer of the shoe is separating from the foam layer at the toe. So, so, so disappointed in the decline in quality, especially considering the continuing rise in price.

The knot tying the two straps together is too big and very uncomfortable. This knot rubs between the toes which is not good for diabetics. These were returned.

I really wanted these to work, as everyone I know who has an older pair, has had that pair forever. I ordered a 9, but the footbed was too short and the foot strap was too loose. I ordered another 9 to try, as well as a 10. The footbed on the 10 was just a little too big for my foot, and the foot strap was too loose. The footbed on this 9 was appropriately sized, but the foot strap was too loose to keep my foot in place. All 3 pairs were returned. Disappointed in the variability between pairs that should be the same size, and the way too loose foot strap no matter the size.

Love the look and the comfort, but the sole fell off of the left flip flop after a week!

Not the same quality and they are smaller. I have flip-flops from L.L. Bean that are 20 years old and I love them. These are not the same flip-flops yet there toys the money. They are literally a quarter of an inch shorter than the old size eights. I'm disappointed and paid $40 each. I doubt these will last me the rest of the season.

These were not like the previous flip flops I had purchased from LLbean. They were very narrow and not that comfortable. I have wide feet and these barely fit my feet. Maybe over wear they will soften up but now they are a little hard.

Ll bean has gone back to the old footbed style. I was disappointed, the newer style was more comfortable for me.

The pieces going between the toes are very abrasive. I cannot walk in these flip-flops. I will have to return these.

My old Maine Isle Flip Flops have been the best flip flops I've ever had. Unfortunately, they are wearing out and needed to be replaced. I was excited to get my new ones and then so disappointed to find that they are very different and no longer comfortable or fit my feet. The quality still looks good but I wish they hadn't changed them so much. The thong is oddly placed and changes the whole fit of the flip flop. Also, they are much wider than they used to be.

I ordered 2 pairs in the same size. One fits loosely, other is tight. One has piece between toe that is stiff and hurts to wear, other seems fine. Years back there seemed to be more arch support. These 2 pairs have way less support. The bottom tread area seems to be wearing away. These flip flops won't last for years like others I've had. Quality has really decreased, price has not.

While the design is adorable, one flip flop is comfortable and the other between the toes part is shorter and painful.

Over the years, I have purchased many pairs of these flip flops. Every year price increases, but I didn't care because I love them. This year I purchased 2 pair and was very disappointed! One pair was shorter than the other and both pair had shorter things between the toes than prior years. Had to return both pair AND pay the return fee even though it was obviously poor workmanship. Please correct these manufacturing flaws. Thank you

Contour did not fit my feet. Too much sole beyond my toes, barely enough by my heels. Countours didn't hit the right spots. Not at all comfy for me. They went back.

They do not fit well at all, I wear an 8 show and these fall off my feet and are uncomfortable but when you pay $35 for flip flops you suck it up. I would not buy these again.

I have had these before. The ones Ive had for a few years are far superior. They had far more proper arch support and some were a bit higher (thicker soul). These ones I currently ordered felt very cheap, flimsy as heck, zero arch support and the strap on both pair was put on wrong leaving it fitting oddly and very loose, my feet hurt for days after wearing them. I'm truly disappointed by these. I wish they were still made properly and well

the style and appearance are really nice and as advertised. But, not enough arch support tp be called 'anatomical footbed..

I have bought multiple pairs of Maine flip flops in size 7 over the years. For the first time, the size 7 was too small so I tried a size 8 and of course it was too big. I still have one older pair of size 7 that fit me fine so definitely a size change. Very disappointed.

I have been buying these flip flops for 15 plus years and always have worn a size 9. Something changed with the manufacturing this year and they are smaller than previous years. When you hold this year's size 9 up to past years, they are visibly narrower. The ribbon that goes between your toes is also much shorter than in previous years, making the shoe much tighter. I returned the 9's for a size 10 and they are not much better. I have loved these flip flops but the manufacturing has changed and not for the better. So disappointed.

I am so glad to see the original Maine Isle flip flops back, however the ones I just received were a full size too small. I have 8-10 pair of these in my closet, and have always ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly, but the two pair I just received were easily on par with a size 6. Not sure if the tags were incorrect (no size printed on the actual shoe), or if the sizing has really changed. I will re-order a size 8 and see if they fit better. Go back to the original sizing!
