Mine aren't very old and the soles came unglued on both flip flops between the layers. Im not walking in wet areas to make them fall apart. Im going to try to re glue them but for that price I won't take a chance again. The quality just isn't there.

Cute but the soles are really hard. I have had them for several weeks and they still have not broken in well. The straps leave bruises across the bridge of my foot.

I have many pair of these flip flops purchased over the years with various Labrador designs. Just received the puppy pair and they are labeled my size however when compared to previous pairs they are 1/4 inch narrower, 5/8 inch shorter and the between the toe strap is shorter. They feel very tight and my first wear resulted with red and irritated space between my toes. Perhaps my pair is mislabelled in size.

I ordered size 8 and the length was perfect. Strap was way too loose. Would fall off foot when walking. Looked very pretty and well made. Disappointed.

It's as if they were made of old tractor tire or possibly brick. If you are used to wearing a softer flop where there is significant cushion these are not going to be for you. Very rigid.

The rainbow design is great and with the blue sole is surprisingly versatile. The actual shoe (sandal) is comfortable and offers at least some support in the thickness of the sole. Unfortunately, less than 3 weeks into wearing them the sole has split at the front of one of the flip-flops indicating that they are not durable and creating a tripping hazard. I'd love to exchange them but all the sizes in this design are out of stock. For the price of a return (6.50) I may as well buy some glue and try and extend their life a little longer because they look great! So sad that this is the case.

I purchased a pair and the bottom started coming apart after about 2 weeks. I needed to purchase a replacement pair and then send the old pair back to get that money back. I would have preferred if they just did the swap without having to purchase another pairr.

This year's 'Original' Maine Isle flip-flop is closer to the original than last year's flip flop...the footbed is much more comfortable. Unfortunately the material used in-between the toes is uncomfortable; I am keeping one pair and hope it gets softer over time. Also, please more nautical and whimsical prints next season as in years past.

I purchased these since the last LL Bean pair I'd owned that I'd loved so much had begun to fall apart after nearly a decade of use. These lack the arch support and comfort of the last pair.

I have ordered these flip flops for a few years. This year I wanted the Sun ones and they were on backorder. They were finally shipped and I received them right before my vacation I wanted them for and they are too small. I always buy a size 9 and they are always perfect, these ones were too small by a half size. I ended up giving to my friend who went on the trip with me and was jealous every time I saw her wear them. They were the only flip flops I brought and my fault I didn't try them on before I left just assuming they would be the same as all my other ones.

I've been wearing these flip flops for years. They are my favorite. This year I ordered another in the same size I've been wearing and they are half size too small. I guess that's no big deal if I'd known I could have ordered up. Why change the sizing? Still my favorite flip flop. I wear them at least 8 mos. out of the year and they hold up so well.

Unfortunately, out of the FOUR pairs of flip-flops that I ordered...only one fit, and that was the exchanged pair I received back after returning the first pair of shoes. I have ordered these in the past, and they looked great, fit perfectly and were made of great materials. These new ones would be ok (materials aren't as nice, but still nice)...but the quality is lacking! One side fits great and the other side is too big. All four of the first pairs I received had this issue. I kept the ONE exchanged pair and that's it. Not worth the trouble of buying and returning over and over.

Straps: stiff. Outsole: stiff. Piece between big toe and other toes: stiff. I must have had a half dozen of these flip flops over the years. I was looking forward to getting a new pair. After wearing them for a few minutes, I was looking forward to getting them off. Noticeably more uncomfortable than any of the previous pairs I've had.

I wanted to love these, but sadly I don't. First of all, I wear a size 7.5 and LLBean advised to buy a 7 rather than an 8. This was good advice because the 7 fits well. The design is super cute (alligator) and the Flip-Flop appears to be well made. My complaint is with the foot bed. It is very hard. There just isn't any give and I can't wear them very long before my feet begin to ache. I have other brands of flip-flops that are the same style with a very dense black foam foot bed, but they have some "give" and I can wear them all day. I will wear these LL Bean flip-flops as much as possible to see if they will break in. If they become comfortable, I will revise this review.

The shoe bottom fits great, but the strap of the right shoe is much too large. Sadly, it's not worth the expense of returning.

I have purchased many pairs of this Flip Flops through the years and are very pleased with the overall quality. However, the last pair I purchased was different in that there was no support at all. I compared it with a previous pair which had some support groves in the footbed. For me, I would not buy these again unless there was an indication of support. I will say, the quality is a 10. Please LL Bean, put support groves in all your flip flops.

I like the look of the flip flops but right where the leather logo meets the band across the foot it caused my skin to breakdown more on my right than my left foot. I have never had a problem with any LL Bean product but I am disappointed in this one. I feel they are made sturdy and are nice to look at.

I have a love-hate relationship with these flip flops. I own three pairs and while I love how comfortable they are and how indestructible they are, I do not like how they turn your heels black at the end of the day. Especially if you get your feet wet in the water. Not a big deal, but nevertheless.

I liked the style, but I was hoping for a flexible sole, for walking comfort. I found the sole was just too stiff, so I returned them.

Nice color, and materials. The arch support just isn't right. I knew this could be an issue when I read the reviews and it seems to be an issue for me. Would not order another pair. I like the dog print ! Size seemed right.

I read the reviews and said that I would purchase a pair of flip flops for the summer. I wore these flip flops for 3 months and the soles are coming apart. These were my favorite flip flops. They are so comfortable and lightweight, but my pair had poor craftsmanship. I wish they would have lasted because they felt great!
