I love the dragonfly strap design and I really wanted to love these sandals. When I first got them, they fit well and looked and felt great. Unfortunately, getting them wet, such as when walking in damp grass or washing the dog, cause the thong to stretch so that the original snug fit becomes loose and sloppy. The loose fit causes the sandal to catch on steps and thresholds, becoming a tripping hazard, and the two layers of the sole starts to separate. I was able to exchange the first pair since they were falling apart after four month's wear. I am trying hard not to get the new pair wet but I can already feel them loosening up after a few weeks' wear. They are also wider than similar flip flops, such as the less expensive but more comfortable and attractive Tommy Bahama brand. I know LL Bean sometimes has to change vendors with poor results and are responsive to complaints, so I will keep an eye out for an improved version of this sandal, but this one is not great LL Bean quality.

I have purchased Maine Isle flipflops for at least 20 years. While they are still comfortable, I am disappointed by the narrower cut and shorter length of footbed. My feet haven't changed in size, but the footbed is more like a 5 1/2. My feet almost touch the back edge of the shoe. Please bring back the more "squared off" slightly longer footbed from approximately 10 years ago!

They're just okay. The footbed is quite rigid and hard. Yellowbox flip-flops are much more comfortable--really squishy and mould easily to your feet and last forever. These will probably last forever, too, because I won't wear them that much.

Footbed is good, size 9, but straps are very long/wide. My foot slipped out so I returned them for credit without a problem.

There was not enough room for my foot on the strap between your big toe and the toe next to it. The inner sole was too hard for me.

I have worn and loved the Classic Maine Isle Flip Flop Sandal for years and years. Best sandal on the market. This year I found them to be a bit skimpy. I was very disappointed.

I have been buying these LLB flip-flops for almost 10 years now- minus the year they did away with the original style and completely went rogue. When they brought back the original style, there were some changes and I was able to wear the new style fine. The most recent purchase I have fits like a completely different brand and style. I'm so disappointed. I purchased the yellow flip-flops with the white dogs. They are shorter, the straps are in a different spot and it barely fits the length of my foot. I took pictures and attached them below to compare the ones I just purchased this spring to a pair I've had a few years as well as one of the first pair I purchased. The little reductions that have been done to the footbed have made a significant difference. I purchased them in Feb., because the cute styles go fast in the size 11, and just got to wear them in June so I cannot return them. However, I need LLB to know that this is the first time that I'm unhappy with my purchase, based on reviews I am not the only one and to please stop messing with perfection! I have always recommended these to my friends who wear a size 11 because they have a good cushion and you can get a cute style- fwith big feet this isn't common. This is the first time I've said no, because with the changes a size 11 really only fits a size 10. What will I do now?

The Flip-Flops were very stiff and I have worn them for a month. Never really have softened and I tend to slip out of them. Not comfortable at all. I would not recommend them to a friend. I might return them.

Ordered size down as advised and it really doesnt fit right. Should have sent back. Why doesnt it come in half sizes? Ordered shoes in an 8, too i big, and flip flops in 7, too small. I need 7 1/2.

Definite break in period. Had them about 2 weeks and they are showing wear on sides and heel.

Not quite what I expected in colors, but I really like it.

I like the color pattern and style. What I have noticed is that the sole is very hard. They are starting to take on a little form. I have plantar fasciitis and the sole irritates that after wearing a little while. Softer sole would be helpful. I have flip flops from a famous shoe company that are far mor comfortable and footbed style is molded to feet.

This was my 3rd or 4th pair, cute. But I sent them back because I need more support. Getting older, you know.

The sole is a cheaper version of the original Bean Flipflop. It is narrower and has less support

The flip flops were well-made and cute. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I ordered my usual size 9, but the shoes were way too small and uncomfortable.

Bought 2 pairs. One of the girls loved them, look & fit was to size, comfortable. The other one said they were not comfortable, so did a return on that pair with no problem.

Super cute show but the top straps felt loose and made them feel too big. Sadly I had to return them.

I really love the labrador flip-flops and get a new pair every year, but come on LL Bean. With all the colors that are in the world, must you repeat them? OD green, then a couple years of lime green, then back to OD green. Please come up with a different color each year. And holy Cow! Almost a $10 price increase is ridiculous!

Size 6 Left fit was good right not so good had to adjust the ribbon between toes because it was hurting me and my foot was off on the sole. Not as good as the last pair i bought.

Not a soft shoe, little stiff in the sole. I need a softer shoe.
