Runs narrow! Nice, well-made shoe, but be warned it does run narrow. I have never in my life worn a wide width, but in these shoes the B was very tight. My normal size is 6B. Based on other reviews that it runs a little short, I got these in 6.5B and will have to exchange for the C/D width. I will post another review on comfort when I have gotten the wider pair.

Love this shoe. Just bought a second pair exactly the same. I do add arch support.

I ordered these b/c the reviews said they were so comfortable. I was really surprised that the soles are totally inflexible. Since I do not wear shoes that are so stiff they are going right back. I have an ambulation problem and walk with either a cane or a walker I jut cannot take a chance. They were really very nice looking shoes in brown. Much better looking than the photo. Too bad. As always Zappos is the best.

I have had several foot surgeries and usually wear Asics Kayano running shoe daily for the extra support and cushioning. This shoe is a great alternative to wear with dress slacks and still have a supportive shoe which is a comfortable walking shoe without looking heavy and clumsy. I'm thrilled to get out of my sneakers into this sleeker, supportive shoe. It has a moderate arch support and the best part is that the heel is deep enough to allow my custom orthodic to fit perfectly. I would highly recommend these to those who are stuck wearing sneakers most of the time. The toe box is roomy without looking bulky. Very nice shoe and I would buy it again. Highly recommend - very comfortable and attractive. Zappos has the best customer service around!

Love these shoes! I have had multiple foot surgeries and wear expensive orthotics. I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit and these are great!

For me, ordered 8.5 M sending back and getting wide. The shoe was narrow at both the toe box and heel.

These have become my favorite shoes. I had bunion and neuroma foot surgery 7 mos ago and am still having some painful days. My doctor has put me in orthotics. The orthotics, combined with this Aravon Farren shoe, is really helping. I totally recommend this shoe! Comfortable, spacious toes, removable footbed, ahhhhhhh.

I have this in the red/brown and in black suede. Very comfortable to stand and walk and to wear while teaching. They look great, as well. I have a wide width, yet small heel, and these fit perfectly. The suede has a little more give, but the leather is also great for wet weather. They have a better fit and more comfort than shoes I have purchased from specialty stores for four times the price.

These are very comfortable, good fitting casual shoes. These are great shoes when you want attractive, stylish, walking type shoes that do not look like regular walking, tennis shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I have had in some time. I have to wear orthotics. I am tired of bulky atheletic shoes. These look more dressy.

Love these shoes I have a narrow foot (AA) including a narrow heel area, these shoes fit, no slippage once they are tied and no foot discomfort upon wearing them all day. They do not look like shoes for 'older' ladies and i wear them for dress-up with my slacks! I have two pair and want a third. I can even wear my orthotics, for an oxford shoe they are very stylish.

Deep heel area. Put in a gel heel cushion and it did the trick. Super comfy. Could have used a 1/2 size smaller, but works with thicker socks.

Great experience. Arrived quickly with no problems. Having had Aravons before, Zappos' shoe measured up. Great for those of us that walk a lot and have to search for narrows.

These shoes hurt my hammertoes. It is difficult for me to find shoes that are narrow enough, but these truly are.

This shoe felt great instantly out of the box! It is not easy finding women's size 11 shoes that will easily accomodate an orthotic. So maybe they are not the most fashionable looking shoes on the earth, but they served me very well on a business trip to the Netherlands. We had to walk 1-2 miles per day on cobblestone streets and my feet were happy.

A little less bulky than some other shoes that allow for orthotics and certainly cuter than my athletic shoes. I think these are made by the New Balance shoe company. The laces come untied a lot, but that's a minor issue and I'll just replace them. These are going to be my go-to shoes for upcoming Italy vacation.

Love these shoes - the fit is great and they look good. I ordered them in black nubuck first. I was so pleased with them, I ordered them in brown nubuck too.

Very, very comfortable walking shoe. I bought them for a trip to Europe (so I don\'t bring my white gym shoes) and think they feel as good as my New Balance athletic shoes.

Comfort personified! There was no doubt in my mind, as soon as I tried these on, that these were the comfortable shoes for which I have been searching. I am on my feet all day and I need something supportive of my feet and back. Plus, they look cute with corduroys and jeans. I highly recommend these shoes!

This is a nice, supportive shoe. I have an injury and was looking for a shoe that would be more attractive than my white New Balance sneakers. This looks good with pants or a skirt/dress and black tights. My orthotics fit in the shoe well. I did have to add a plain Dr. Scholl's liner to the bottom. After taking out the removable insole to add my orthotics, there wasn't enough cushioning. But the Dr. Scholl's liner did the trick. I am very happy with these shoes.

Love these shoes. They have the look of an oxford so they are in style, and they are even more comfortable than my NB walking sneakers. Wish I had had these this summer when I was walking around Paris! They are definitely casual shoes, though - I wouldn\'t wear them with a suit - but they work well in my business casual work place, where jeans are accepted.

Has the look of what's in, and the comfort of a sneaker. Put a pair with slim dark jeans and a boyfriend jacket and city-ready wear plus. With a pair of leggings and a slouch long sweater, casual dinner out steps up a notch. And did I mention comfort and support? I bought two pairs - black and cream.

I wear custom orthotics and typically need to buy high-end European brands to find the comfort and fit I need. These were much less expensive but serve much the same purpose. I only have two negative comments. First, the heel is a little too narrow and pinches my orthotics there, even though it fits well everywhere else (I bought the "wide" width). Second, although the styling is a little dressier than a sneaker, I wish it could look a little nicer yet for everyday office wear in a corporate setting. If you're used to wearing oxfords, though, this will probably work well enough. In sum, if you wear orthotics and want good support, this shoe seems comparable to more expensive brands like Mephisto and Finn Comfort (which I also own), but delivers at a much more reasonable price. The sides are high enough to hide the sides of the orthotics. I had tried another, more stylish looking brand on this site and had to return it. Even though the other shoes were described as appropriate for orthotics, the shoe bed was not deep enough to support and conceal the sides. This Aravon shoe did not have that problem.
