Oh I am so sorry and so embarrassed. I wrote a review and complimented Shoebuy and I really meant Zappos. Please forgive me. It was only a minute ago.

These shoes are really, really, really wonderful. And the delivery was so fast. From now on, I will only be ordering from Shoebuy. I purchased them for Winter, and it's mid 80's outside now, but I just don't want to take them off.

Took them out of the box, walked around the house a bit, then took a 2-mile walk on sidewalks with no problems. They are a bit stiff, but I expect them to loosen up enough to be my city traveling shoes. Not "cute" but I'm old enough to prefer comfort and practicality over "cute". Roomy in toe box, snug enough for my fairly narrow heel.

Love Zappos! What's not to love?They have narrow sizes and shipping paid both ways. And they are very friendly when communicating.

I'm really happy with these shoes. I bought them in both the leather and buckskin...and love them both. I wear orthotics but found the insoles that came with the shoes was actually more comfortable, and still gave me the support I needed. I wear them to work every day, and they look very professional, not like black tennis shoes. So worth the expense for the quality.

For an orthotic shoe, this is very attractive. I have had foot surgery and have severe arthritis in my feet, so wearing this type shoe is not optional for me. The first pair I got in camel I walked extensively through Europe two years ago and got the black suede recently for another color and another trip. They are a very comfortable and supportive shoe even if you don't need an orthodic. You will be very glad and your feet will thank you. I want more colors like navy and gray.

Thank you Zappos for letting me try ten pairs of shoes for my fickle feet! I have a winner! I wear New Balance athletic shoes all the time and am delighted to find a dressier model in the Aravon brand. For a sturdy laceup shoe it looks very nice with no distracting colors or logos. The laces are darker than in the photo so even they blend in with the shoe. The all black shoe makes my size 11's look smaller which is a bonus with the comfort. At first this shoe felt a half size large,but is perfect with thicker winter socks.

I've had these shoes before and really like them so ordered another pair. In the nubuck I don't think they look as matronly as straight leather. Very comfortable and works with an orthotic insert.

This shoe is super comfortable, and I wore it all over Europe. It has a soft insole and is sheik enough to be presentable everywhere. My only complaint is that it scuffs easily, even when it is sprayed ahead of time. It's my 3rd pair, and Zappos saved the day by having my size in stock.

I ordered these shoes because I need orthotics when I'm on my feet. They look good with my work clothes, my orthotics fit, and they are comfortable. I did wear them inside to get used to them. I can wear them all day!

After trying an untold number of shoes (most from Zappos) these are the ones I've been hoping for. We are headed to Scotland and these will be my all day, every day shoes. These are very nice and trim looking and enough great support for my worn out feet. I try anywhere from 9.5 to 11 shoes not being able to trust the stated size and the 10.5 of these are perfect. If the support were not so good, I would need a larger size to accommodate my Powersteps.

I love the way Aravon makes their shoes, wider toe box and narrow heel. This shoe is no exception to that practice. They feel wonderful and look more stylish in person than on this computer screen. I always buy a much larger size to accommodate my whole foot orthotic insert. These are very supportive and polish up so nicely.

These shoes are really great. They needed no breaking-in and are extremely comfortable as well as smart looking. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered they were made by New Balance. My only disappointment was the laces worn out within months.

I find it difficult to find a shoe that fits my narrow 8 size. The Aravon Farren has been great! It accommodates my wider toe area and yet is narrow in the heel, etc. This is a great shoe. Has enough cushion! I'm hoping to find more Aravons that are similar in comfort.

This is a very attractive and comfortable feeling shoe, but I need another half size up because of a foot injury, and had to return it.

I bought these for my mom, who always wears a 7 1/2. I bought three pairs of shoes for her, all 7.5s and this brand has to be returned. Too short and too narrow.

The shoe was nice looking, but did not fit. I ordered an 8 1/2 2E width and it felt tight lengthwise and widthwise. Also, when I walked, my heel slipped.

Very comfortable shoe for tender feet. Bought in lieu of Ecco New Mobile,which is no loner made. Doesn't have quite the flexibility of New Mobile or the sole cushioning, but has a great high toe box, and comes in widths that are true to size. Well constructed shoe. Best alternative to New Mobile on the market.

I purchased these for a trip to Europe and have been wearing them to break them in. So far, they are comfortable (I walked 4 miles the first time I wore them with no problems). I lowered the number of stars for style because they are just plain black shoes, nothing eye catching or different. They are better than black athletic shoes and go well with dress pants as well as more casual outfits. I will re-review upon return from Europe. Right now I would recommend them, they stay tied, have moderate support, and clean up well when the get wet.

Love this shoe! It's very comfortable and doesn't look like an athletic shoe. I wear them to walk to work and don't feel like I need to change to something else once there.

So comfortable. These might be the best shoes I have ever owned. I have wide diabetic feet, and these shoes allowed me to walk for hours in comfort.

I wanted lace shoes (to give some additional arch support) and that weren't sneakers (so I could wear to work) and these were even better than I hoped! I have no foot pain when I wear them, even for long days. And, what's even better, no lower back pain! I do wear them with orthotics, but these shoes are the best medicine I could ask for and don't look too bad, either! I'm buying a second pair so I have one I can get dirty and one for the office. I'm looking at other Aravon shoes with hopes they'll be as well made.

These shoes are not the prettiest, but they are wonderful walking shoes. I bought them to wear to NYC for business, and they were wonderful. The fit is good and they kept my feet from hurting while walking 5 miles each day which was awesome. They fit a bit snug, but otherwise true to size.

I stand for 8 hours at my job; by hour 4, my feet would start to ache. Yesterday, I tried on a pair of these shoes and they felt wonderful! This is amazing...I have wide feet and bunions too. Shoes usually hurt until I break them in. Today, 8 hours later...my feet feel tired, but don't ache. I highly recommend Aravon Farrens.

I needed a walking shoe that would fit with my orthotics for a trip to Paris. This shoe fits 1/2 size larger, even with orthotics. For a walking shoe, it's a very nice looking suede walking shoe and very comfortable!
