These were my second choice as the Aravon Mona was not available in my size. I like that the Aravon line comes in wider widths which I need. The width is perfect in the toe box but the heel is too wide and does not fit well. My feet come out at the heel with each step. Tighteing the strap helped a little but not enough. I needed a black dress shoe in a hurry so I kept them but will not buy these again until they fix the fit in the heel. They felt a little stiff in walking but I am grateful that New Balance even makes dress shoes for those of us who need wide shoes. I bought my usual size of 8 1/2 W but perhaps I needed an 8 (which was not available). They cost a bit too much to order another pair at this time.

Beautifully made shoes and very comfy. The only issue is the heel that is strangely shaped. It makes the transfer of weight from heel to toes not smooth. Somebody already mentioned it in another review.

These shoes were somewhat clunky compared to the picture but I've worn other clunky shoes so didn't rule these out before I tried them. I must say that they were very comfortable right out of the box! I wear a narrow and these felt a little sloppy in the toe box, but the heel fit fine and the cushiony feel of the insole was great. Unfortunately, the strap has no give and was digging into my ankle after only a few minutes wear. Maybe my ankles have gotten big because a lot of the hook part of the Velcro was left exposed. In general, I'm not a fan of Velcro (hook and loop) closure on dress or casual shoes -- I hate it when it catches the inside of pants or hem threads. I understand that its intended to allow for a more custom fit, but give me a buckle and a little elastic and I can certainly find a "custom" ankle fit. I haven't decided yet to send these back, but if I do it will be because of the ankle strap.

I bought an Aravon shoe and it fit perfectly, but this one was short. Also the strap on one of the shoes was poorly made and it rubbed against my foot and was uncomfortable.

I really liked these at first, but the heel is made in such a way that my feet were constantly sliding toward the front of the shoe. I think they may have also been a bit wide for me, which is surprising as I have a pretty wide foot. I ended up wearing these only occasionally, not as much due to the fit issues as to the fact that I felt very unattractive wearing them. They made me feel like an elephant. Not recommended!

I was very sad to have to return these shoes! I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and I have very wide feet. I bought the 8s in Wide D but they were way too big. It felt like the only thing keeping them on my feet was the ankle strap. If I were to get these again, I'd probably stick with the Wide D because the toe box felt great, but maybe size a bit down to 7 1/2. The style was way cuter with a skirt than I thought they'd be from the pictures, so I may give them another try.

These looked cute in the photo, but are actually quite clunky. The shape of the toe makes these too casual to wear with dresses. Also, I ordered a AA. I read others reviews that these run narrow. NOT TRUE! They were so wide and long, too. But, if you have a normal-width foot, you will probably love these because of the wonderful insole that has great arch support and cushion. Just wish someone could make a shoe that both supports & looks stylish too. Thanks, Zappos, for your great service!

I ordered 2 sizes. The 10.5 was too short on my left foot, the 11 was too big. I have flat feet and expected more from the arch support. Beautiful shoes that just didn't work for me.

I tried these as an option to my usual Mary Jane style Naots. Aravon Maya made me smile because it looks vaguely flamenco. Ultimately, the shoe wasn't very flexible through the arch, so I felt like Frankenstein walking: clomp, clomp, clomp. I'll keep the plainer Dansko Abby and save a few dollars.

These shoes are cute and pretty comfortable. I tried them out on carpeting and loved them. The main problem was wearing them on hard surfaces. They are very clunky (try them out on hardwood floors to see if you can handle it) and left black scuff marks on all of the floors I walked on. This did not go over well at work, and I'm stuck with work shoes that I can't wear to work. :(

I really wanted these to work -- I have bunions so I need a wider shoe. I ordered these in the W width, and they are super comfy, but the front part was so wide that they looked like duck feet. I may try ordering again in the regular width.

I ordered these in my standard 7.5W and they were huge. They're pretty cute (business casual, but not business professional), so I'm going to try and order them in a half a size smaller. Here's hoping. Bottom line - if you have wide/large feet and want cute, comfy shoes - these would be a great option.

These shoes came to me looking as though they had been worn. I don't know if it was inside or outside, but the soles had wear on them. I had never purchased this brand before, but this one didn't work for me.

Comfortable, but the 7 1/2 wide was too wide. If you need a roomy toe box, rather than a wide shoe overall, I would say try the medium width. From the photo, I thought these shoes would be kind of funky/cute but they were very unattractive. They might be okay with slacks, but I need something I can wear with a skirt.

I like, but I do not love these. They are stylish, but gave me a blister on one foot and I am using a stretcher to see if I can stretch one shoe out.

Color not as nice as pictured. The shoes I received do not have the reddish cast of those pictured and I don't like the color as much.

This seems to be a shoe for larger feet. Although the length was fine, the shoes were overly roomy for my low volume feet (I have a thin frame, 5'8", 125 lbs). The toe box had about half an inch of space above the top of my toes. Even after adding a ¼" insole there was still too much room and my feet would sort of lift up in the shoes when I would walk. Also, the soles are very stiff and made a clumping sound when walking. This is kind of like wearing clogs, but even moreso. They also seem a bit wider than average. The heel seemed to fit well though, which was good. But these are going back.

The photo makes this shoe look elegant and narrow but be advised that it is actually wide and clunky! It looks a little like a Minnie Mouse shoe when on. Otherwise, it felt comfortable and would work well with orthotics since the insert is removable and fully inside the shoe. I was looking for an evening shoe to wear with dresses and this shoe was just too informal. I had to return them with Zappos' easy return policy.

Seemed comfortable when I first got them. I have a small, but wide foot. After wearing them for several hours, they were not wide enough, and became uncomfortable. I wish Zappos could find wide shoes that are more stylish for people like me.

These shoes are very cute and probably fairly comfortable. I was particularly pleased that the heel is wide and very stable, while looking very stylish. However, they were about a size bigger than they should have been, so I returned them. Apparently, they run large.

A very cute shoe. The widest shoe I've ever tried in a 2A width. Gaps on all sides. Needless to say, I returned it.

I had to return these; way too big though I am between 11 and 12 and am hard to fit in general. I thought the high ankle strap and long sole made them very awkward to walk in. They are cute though.

Comfortable shoe but velcro strap too short! The strap is so short that only about 1/4" of velcro attaches. My concern is that once I'm walking around is that this connection won't be strong enough to hold. If they only could add another 1/4" it'd be good.
