Comfortable, nice looking shoes that are good to dance in. I have a pair in brown leather and am considering getting a black pair too.

's a ballerina and a Mary Jane rolled into one, with enough heel to offer excellent versatility. Casual-dress shoe is well-made and feels stable. Adjustable strap promotes a secure fit. Arch support: Did not meet my expectations for walking and standing. If I didn't care about arch support, I would buy my shoes at PayLess. Looks nicely proportioned for larger sizes, makes my 12N foot look shorter. Very wearable with casual dresses, skirts or slacks, cute with tapered-leg pants such as jeans and leggings.

I wanted a little dressier shoe to wear with suits, etc. I like the look of this shoe and it is wearable for me. With my back problems and wearing orthodics I really can't wear heels, but this is a possibility. In all honesty, though, I couldn't wear them all day or do a lot of walking or standing on my feet. They do not have the support and comfort of my everyday shoes. But for a special occasion they are nice.

As a flight attendant, I need shoes that I can work in up to 14 hours a day, but that also look okay. I have wide feet and I pronate, so it\'s difficult to find cute, comfortable shoes. I\'ve been wearing the aravon maya style with my uniform dress, and they look much better than some other shoes I\'ve worn, plus they don\'t pinch or rub. However, after about 5 hours or so I find the bottom of my feet feel like I need more padding. I\'ll keep wearing these because they are cute and pretty comfortable. Dansko clogs are the only shoes I\'ve worn all day without any problems, but they aren\'t the most feminine looking on size 10 feet. And clogs with a dress, uh clunky. The Aravon Maya\'s look a whole lot cuter, and are worth the slight lack of padding.

Very comfortable right from the start. Nice and cushioned for the ball of my foot, which is my problem area. Only problem I have is the strap, which seems to cut off my circulation to my foot when I sit down in a chair. The strap is adjustable though. Very supportive arch also.

I liked the looks of these shoes, but they feel very clunky and the soul is not as soft as I like. I returned them.

I sized down from a 10.5 N, and as much as I like a generous toe box, this was still just too big. They were kind of cute, and maybe too youngish for me. My biggest negative, is the sole. The material did not bend at all. When you take a step, it goes "heel, slap". I have no reason to think it is going to loosen up.

I bought this within the last month. They arrived quickly and were cute. However, they were at least 1 full size bigger than my normal size (9.5 fit like a 9.5). Additionally, the arch support wasn't as good as other brands I've tried. I returned them so the search continues for a quality, fashionable shoe for someone with wide feet and foot problems.I'm starting to feel like people in my situation are destined for ugly shoes.

These were a replacement for this style that I wore to pieces because they were so comfy. However one of the pair I reordered was defective. The insole was crumpled and lumpy, making it impossible to wear; the other shoe was just fine. Sent back with no problems with the return. Hope this isn't indicative of quality going downhill.

Attractive but didn't fit properly. One shoe is too short. Will return them

The left shoe was too large and the strap irritated my ankle. The right shoe was too tight on my bunion.

I felt like the front part of the shoe was a reasonable width for an AAA. However, the heel width seemed several sizes wider. The strap doesn't seem to help much. With the strap firmly on, when I walked my heels flopped right up out of the back of the shoe by a couple of inches! Where is a woman with a classically narrow foot supposed to find a shoe that will stay on?

They are fairly comfortable but the strap does not stop my foot from sliding forward, even when too tight for comfort. Not that attractive with a skirt. Did have adequate width in a medium width.

The soles of these shoes were too stiff for me, especially given the far back placement of the ankle strap, which didn't work for me. I have long and wide feet, and the shoe's shape was a good fit, just couldn't move around in them with ease/without hot spots.

The front half of the shoe was perfect: cushy and roomy toe box. But the back half of the shoe - primarily the thin strap - was uncomfortable.

If you are really a true narrow, the front foot bed of this shoe is too wide. My foot slipped all over. Too bad they are nice shoes.

Dealing with chronic PF I was desperate for a shoe I could be comfy in for occasional business meetings and conference. I was thrilled with the comfort !! Style is very matronly and frankly dorky but ah the comfort made me ignore it. Since I only wore them about 20 times I was shocked when the upper inside part of the heel that doesn't contact the ground completely disintegrated. I called customer service at new Balance that owns Aravon and was told too bad so sad see ya. I asked a cobbler to do anything to bothe shoes so I could still use them since they are still barely used. He said they are un fixable. So after $149 I have a pair of very gently worn worthless shoes. #NewBalance #Aravon shame on you

I wear a 6WW and the pair of these I ordered several years ago had wonderful supple leather. They were a great shoe for very wide feet. This pair, however, has stiff leather and is simply not as comfortable, so I am returning them.

These shoes would be great if they weren't so weirdly stiff on the bottom. They don't have any give to them, resulting in a weirdly stiff gait.

Although I read reviews that this shoe fit larger than normal, I ordered it anyway. I've been really happy with Aravon in the past as it comfortably accommodated my wide foot and bunion. The shoe box is large in a strange way- not wider than normal but rather deeper than normal. It fits better when I place my orthotic insert OVER the Aravon liner rather than when I replace the Aravon liner with the orthotic. This feels comfortable for me so I'm keeping the shoe, but it may not be a good fit for other customers.

I was disappointed by this shoe. The soles were not flexible so whenever you stepped off (ie. walking), you're basically keeping your entire foot pretty straight. It felt like I was doing a Frankenstein shuffle. I ordered a 7.5W and the toe box is roomy (which I loved since I have a bunion on my left foot). However, I am returning this shoe because the sole doesn't bend and it caused foot fatigue.

I wore these shoes several times a week for over a year. I loved the patent croc, low heel and rounded toe. They also accommodated my bunions nicely. Then one day I felt rubbing on the inner ankle where the strap attaches to the shoe. And then it broke and I had to finish out my shift at work with tape holding the strap closed. I brought them to 2 shoe repair shops who said there was no way to repair them. So even though I loved the shoes, I was very disappointed in the long term quality. An expensive pair of shoes should not fall apart after a year of normal use.

I really wanted this shoe to work out but was disappointed. First, it was not as comfortable as I hoped. That could just be me as lately I only find Dansko clogs bearable. To me they have the look and feel of bowling shoes. They are going back.

Shoe felt "heavy" and I did not like the Velcro fastening. Style was ok and heel height and shape acceptable. Major problem was that they were too wide for my narrow foot and especially for my narrow heel. My foot slipped down into the toe box.
