Great fit, every time. Been wearing SAS for years. My feet were damaged in an accident and I could not find a comfortable shoe. My Father, who was diabetic said-"-get SAS. My Doctor recommended them to me and they are great"
Have worn at least 10 different styles of SAS and all were comfortable. Pricey but worth it because my feet do not hurt.

I wish I could give this style 10 stars, this is the only shoe that I can wear effortlessly, the toe box no pressure. I have a slim to narrow foot and it fits perfect, because the heel is narrower it hugs your heel like a shoe should. This IS the way all shoes use to fit. Most companies ARE now sent over seas And are wide sloppy fit. I have tried ALL the other brands that claim they carry size 12-13 shoe in narrow (forget even looking for a true slim). I take a sz 12 in SAS but everyone else a SZ 12 1/2 which is no longer made by anyone in women shoes. So then I'm forced to order a 13 I then have a thumb's width in back of heel. PLEASE SAS STAY IN AMERICA AND MAKE GREAT SHOES, I LOVE YOU.

I am very happy with my shoes. They fit very true to size, and since I use an orthotic, I can remove the foot bed and insert the orthotic and then replace the foot bed.

I’m in the medical field and on my feet all day. I’ve had problems with my feet my entire life. I don’t know how I would have managed over the last 15 or so years had I not discovered SAS Shoes. These shoes have definitely made a marked difference in my daily life.
Zappos great communication and quick shipping make doing business a pleasure. Thank you!

Free time Denim Blue walking shoe was so cute but too wide. The only reason I returned them was I had purchased 5 1/2 wide instead of my usual 5 1/2 medium. I will eventually order my normal size and try again. I always purchase free time walking shoe in white and never disappointed.

I live in the SAS Free time shoes. I have found nothing else that works for me. The first time I bought this shoe I limped into the shoe store and told the salesman to give me th most comfortable shoe in the store. He brought me this shoe and I have worn them ever since. I have lost most of the fat pad on the bottom of my feet so try I g to walk barefoot is virtually impossible. This show is like walking on a cloud. I ha e noticed a change with the new insoles they now make. I don't like them as much as the old ones but it is still the most comfortable shoe I can find. In the summer I wear the SAD Duo sandal. I have the shoes and the sandals in 5-6 colors. Every now and then I try something new and that's where Zappis is the best. I can order multiple pairs of shoes and it doesn't cost me anything to get them or return them. That is a huge blessing for someone like me who has so much difficulty finding a comfortable shoe. And Zappos has promotions. For some reason got $25 off my order today and I have no idea why that happened. All I can say is thank you. It was a very welcome surprise.

Sas shoes are the only ones that fit properly. They are very comfortable. Cheap shoes don't work for me. You get what you pay for. I go for comfort over what is the latest style.

Shoes were very pretty and at a good price. Great SAS quality. I had to return them only because I ordered the wrong size. Will be buying replacements in the future though. Love SAS shoes!

This is my 5th pair of these shoes. They hold up wonderfully and look great. I have used them during physical therapy and to walk on all types of surfaces in Europe. They offer unparalleled support while looking so much dressier than sneakers.

I have been buying this style for many years (over 20). They are comfortable and have good support. I use these shoes for long walks and for my work-outs at the gym. I always have a black and beige pair on hand.

Great shoes for people who are on their feet a lot. I wear a narrow and they are hard to find so I usually get them at Zappos. There is a store that carries this brand where I live but they don't bother to carry a narrow. The medium shoes is just way to wide. I have narrow feet with a high instep so most shoes don't fit.

I am on my 37th pair of SAS Free Time. With my extra wide feet and high arches it was nearly impossible to find shoes that feel comfortable. Found SAS in the mid 90s and have stuck with them. They may not be the most stylish but if your feet are not happy you cannot be happy.

Been wearing this shoe for years. Nubuck stretches to fit my bunion and is overall comfortable with my neuropathy. I use custom orthotics. Only complaint is that the nubuck shows the dirt. I have a spray cleaner that works.

I am in the process of trying to find a good support shoe with removable pad to allow for orthotics. The Asics Gel Nimbus worked for me for several years, # 17 being the upgrade that was the best. Asics cheapened the Gel Nimbus and any subsequent models I have tried irritate the neuropathy in my right foot. I no longer can wear Gel Nimbus.
I went to a local shoe store that fitted me into the SAS Freetime. The sales lady fitted me into a 10 1/2 M. A size 10M was the final recommendation for me when the owner checked the size the sales lady gave me. While the 10M Nubuck Freetime felt comfortable in the store, once I was home and wore the shoe for the heavy activity I usually do it became clear to me the 10M is to small. However, the shoe is a very nice shoe. I have tried the 10 1/2 M (from Zappos) which seems that it may be a better fit, but I possibly might need a 10 1/2 W to accommodate the bunion on my left foot. I do believe that SAS may in general run a little narrower than other manufacturers. I hope that I can find my correct size in this shoe as it is comfortable and well made.
I do not know what I would do without Zappos. They allow me to order and return until I find what works for me. Local shoe stores just do not have the inventory to allow me to find the correct shoe and size.
Final recommendation: Try the SAS Freetime. It is a well made shoe.

Having multiple foot problems, SAS Free Time shoes are a life saver. They are the only shoes I am able to wear. There is ample room to insert my orthotics once the shoe's cushion insert is removed. The soft leather and roomy toebox are gentle to my sensitive skin. The shoes are pricey, but are well made and last for at least three years.

These shoes cost way more than I wanted to spend, but they're worth every penny. First, a 5 1/2 double wide (D) shoe is almost impossible to find, second, the all-around support of your foot can't be matched, and third, the quality and softness of the leather are outstanding. SAS is the best!

These shoes have very good arch support and provide ample room for your feet. If you are seeking a quality shoe with good support I would recommend these. I'm getting more adjusted to the looks of the shoe as it's supportive for my flat feet and other foot conditions.

I bought these for my 90 year old mother, and she loved them. She said they were one of the most comfortable shoes she’s worn... and she’s worn a few! Great fit!

Several years ago, I began suffering debilitating foot pain when walking. I was diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma in both feet. I tried the wide width shoes available in standard stores, but they were still too tight for those nerves. I even had injections of alcohol directly into the nerve in both feet, trying to kill the nerve, but it didn't work, at least not fully. Then I found an SAS store about an hour away from where I live. They told me about the Freetime in EEE width. I put them on and walked across the store and literally started crying because the pain was gone. I wear them every day, and I go two or three years between pairs, in part because they are so expensive, so I really wear them out and they last.

These are the best shoes by far. I have tried a lot of shoes this year and not happy with any until these. I got them in white. I had to go a half size larger but not a problem. My mom wore SAS shoes all the years she worked on her feet. I finally gave them a try and so very happy i did. I can work 8 hours on my feet and NO pain anywhere. All the other shoes i have wore in the past required inserts. Not these. Guess it does not matter how old you get, listen to your mom. :)
