I bought these for my mother. She is 87 and has to wear a brace on her left foot. She loves these. The style is a bit more sleek and stylish than most appropriate foot wear for her. She finds them very comfortable to wear. We'll see how they stand the test of time.

This shoe is more attractive in person than it is in the photo and I love this color, which adds a bit of zip, rather than black. I need a medium because I need the toe room, but I also need a tie shoe because my heel is narrow. This shoe is perfect! Plenty of toe room, yet it grips my heel. I LOVE these shoes!!!

The shoes fit well and last. I don't have any photos as I don't own a smart phone.

This is my 4th pair of this shoe model over the years. With Othotics, I walk in comfort all day.

These shoes are fabulous. I have awful feet ---- bunions,hammer toes, no arch, one wide foot, one narrower and two different sizes. I put my custom orthotics in and I'm in paradise. They don't look clunky or oversized either. It took many returns to find the right shoes. THANK YOU ZAPPOS!

This is the 3rd pair of Free Time Charcoal Newbuck shoes I have owned. I replace the insert with my orthotic and they give me great support and always keep my feet warm. This shoe has taken me all over Italy in 1999, London in 2010, and Paris in 2014.

Love! Love! Love! I had purchased the Walk Easy, which I love, but the color was a washed out charcoal. Was hesitant on these, but they are black and SO very comfortable. I also bought the Gretchen. First time with SAS, and I will now be buying only SAS. Absolutely pleased.

I had worn these shoes years ago. They still are not the most attractive but they make my feet feel good. I love these shoes. They take the pain away. My feet are healing from wearing them. Highly recommend.

After wearing the same style SAS shoe for decades, I decided to try the velcro closing. It was too tight to use with arch supports, so I went back to the Free Time style. As usual, I stepped right in and it fit perfectly. It was nice to have a new color this time around. Very happy with denim!

I have worn this shoe for a number of years and love it. This particular pair has the heel a bit looser then I like. I have always worn AA width with AAAA heel. Hope to find that on my next pair. Meanwhile other then the heel, I love my new shoes and will get many miles of walking from them as usual. Thank you for a American made shoe of quality.

Fit and size were perfect! I am 73 years old and started having foot discomfort at a very young age. In the last few years I have had 12 surgeries on my right foot for bunions, hammertoes etc. Went in with a painful foot pain came out of surgery with less pain and overlapping toes. So depressing. Now, I have a hammertoe on my left foot. Needless to say, my feet are very painful and for years I have only been able to wear New Balance 990's, Foam style, etc. I wore them to weddings and funerals. I have been searching for something comfortable and more presentable for years, with no luck, UNTIL THIS WEEK!!! Ordered these shoes, hoping that they would be an answer to comfort and style. I tried them on, then put in my orthotics and I almost cried with joy. I wore them all day. I feel so much better about my appearance. Great hair, awesome makeup, nice clothes and the perfect shoes. Thank you, Zappos, for carrying SAS shoes, including a complete description and getting them to me fast! Life is good.

This is the third pair of these shoes I have purchased - each different colors - that's how much I like them. I wish they were available in the color gray as I would buy another pair in that event. I prefer the brushed leather as opposed to the smooth leather - just personal, but I feel they look better in the brushed leather.

The fit was great except for my heel. Thanks to a SAS employee that showed me how to do a "Runners" lace up and it would tighten up back of heel. Since then no problem with any shoes.

The fit runs a little big - perfect for me. I work on my feet, and I have some foot issues. These are the only shoes that I can wear to work. I have 2 pairs, and I'm planning to get a third.

I have been wearing this SAS shoe for several years. I have neuropathy in my feet and this is the only shoe I can wear. I get a wide and it is a good fit. I have tried other brands of shoes and SAS is the best. My podiatrist wears this brand also. He says these shoes are the best made shoes he has seen.

I've worn Free Time for years and they are the best. Unfortunately, this pair in "Denim" looked like a dusty blue in the photo, but it is really a pale, light blue. I am returning them because of the color. Navy Free Time have been unavailable in my size for a long time, so I was hoping these would work. No such luck.

These shoes are very comfortable on my non diabetic neuropathy in my feet. The style is a little old fashioned and the arch support hits me slightly back from my feet. Nevertheless these shoes enable me to walk!
