I have purchased this pair of shoes over the last 15 years in different colors depending on the season. This was the first pair ordered online and I will do it going forward.

I wear orthotics in order to walk without pain. SAS shoes are the best for the insert. Unlike other brands I have tried in the past, I do not feel like I am falling out of the shoe, once the insert is added. In addition to wearing orthotics my feet are big and very narrow. Not an easy combination to find shoes for. Thank you SAS. I only wish you offered more color variety in my size.

My mother wore SAS for years. When I was looking for a quality shoe that would accommodate my orthotics, I went to SAS. The free time is an excellent walking shoe, also work.

I work in retail, so I am on my feet ALL DAY! Freetime is so comfortable. My favorite feature is, no unnecessary stitching in the toe area. My toes are very sensitive from arthritis, and stitching can be very painful. I also love the roominess of the shoe.

I have been wearing Free Time shoes for more years than I can remember. I have quite a few of them and wear them every day. I always look to see if there is a new color. They are comfortable and look good for years!

Finally! Shoes that fit and feel good! I have flat feet, pain in the ball of my feet and heels. These shoes give me room and thanks to the ties I can adjust them. They look good for the office. Thank you so much, Zappos, for your outstanding free shipping and return policy. I live in the middle of nowhere when it comes to stores with good shoes to purchase. It took several rounds but now I know that SAS is my brand!

These are the only shoes that I can walk for long periods of time in. I have been wearing them for many many years. I replace them about every 6 months. My doctor originally recommended them when I was having foot problems. I remove the foot insert and put in my orthotics with a thin insert on top.

In some of the colors, they remind me of the classic "old lady shoe." With all apologies to great seniors!
I'm a young senior and love the blue color. It's a soft blue and the leather is so very soft, yet not like a pair of gloves that offer no support. They look great with faded jeans.
This is my first pair of SAS, and I've always cared about wearing good shoes. I'm not sure why it took me so long to try the brand, but reading the reviews convinced me worth trying. My feet had been aching for a couple months after lots of fly fishing in wading boots walking all over all sizes of rocks for a month in NZ. All of a sudden, it hit me: maybe the slightest wedge sole would be beneficial, as opposed to flat supportive sandals and shoes. What a winner!
This is a quality shoe. Buttery leather, beautiful insoles that offer plenty of dense supportive cushion and arch support. Soft cushioning creates it's own set of problems, such as too much motion and then joint issues and foot fatigue. This insole is very dense but thick cushioning.
I love that the soles aren't white! The gray looks understated and classy. They run completely true to size.
I dropped a splash of water on one shoe and was worried it would leave a mark. Ten minutes later, completely gone. I love this shoe so much that I ordered the sandal Pampas. Same tiny wedge and the most comfortable sandal I've had in years.

I still wear my pair that I purchased in 2005! Just a few scuffs, that is all. SAS shoes require no "break in" time! When they arrive, they fit perfectly. . . .just like gloves! Looking forward to my next pair. . . much sooner. . . in another color.

The Free Time shoe is both comfortable and supportive. The toe box is wide enough for toes to move and breathe and the shoe is easy to lace. It is a nice looking shoe that I wear everywhere and have been doing so for many years.

I'm a Substitute Teacher. I'm on my feet all day walking on concrete. These shoes will provide the needed support for my feet and back because of their construction. I just bought them however after walking in the shoe store and now around the house I'm excited to start wearing them on a daily basis at school to provide the needed relief to my legs, feet and back.
