Folks, After wearing one of these socks about 15 years ago, I trhew away all my other socks except for a blue and black pair of thinner socks I wear on formal occasions.....even those I converted to smartwool lighter socks. Simply the best to wear all year long!!!

This sock rocks. Great cushioned sock for moseying around the house in pajamas, or hiking a trail. Solid construction. Easily 5-stars - A++

These seem to be the updated version of the hike medium crew socks, and I honestly can't tell the difference (which is a good thing). LOVE Smartwool. These merino wool socks are soft, durable, moisture wicking, and great looking. Love the full cushion. I wear them every day, all day.

The padding on the socks make them perfect for hiking. And they'll definitely keep your feet warm on cold days.

Have worn Smartwool socks for years. They are cool even in Florida's hot climate. They are sturdy and hold up well along with being comfortable. We wear nothing ejse and gave gotten our grown kids hooked on them too.

I have several brands of boot socks in my drawer. Most are about the same age ~ 10 years. Other brands have worn (especially the heels) - but the SWs are still good as new.

I have tried other moisture wicking socks this year and found that nothing compares to the comfort of Smartwool. I hike about 2 miles a day for work and it's easy to notice the difference.
