These are great socks however i suspect i will need more cushioning on my next purchase, something similar to heavy-duty Smartwool hiking socks i obtained sometime after 2005 and before 2010. I take these socks to Venice, Italy where the cobblestone streets are, in some areas, quite uneven. Also, i tend to spend most of the day traveling on foot. To demonstrate extreme usage: i've already killed the soles on a pair of Blunstones, total disintegration.

Perfect for year round all day wear in Texas!! Enough cushion for work and hike. Too thick for dress shoes. Keep their shape and elasticity through multiple washing.

Hard wood flooring a bit chilly in the Fall and Winter. Bought the socks to keep my feet warm in the morning while drinking coffee and reading the news.
