These are good looking and well constructed. Seemed they would be perfect for winter dog walking. I first ordered the Storm Chaser 5. Using the site's size/fit helper, I chose size 11, same as for my New Balance shoes. The heal on the left foot was too loose, and the toe box on the right was too tight, I returned the 5s and ordered a pair of the Storm Chaser 4s. The left shoe fit well, but the right foot was still too tight for my toes. I did not want to go up a 1/2 size because I figured that the left shoe would then be too big. I couldn't reach a good balanced fit. I've concluded that the problem is with my mismatched feet and not with the shoes. Returns were easy, but not free.

This is my third pair of Storm Chaser Slip-Ons. This pair includes the "Artic Grip" option. Previous pairs lasted 1 1/2 years and 1 year respectively with the stitching and soles seperating. I should mention that I farm for a living and am in these shoes 12 hours pluse 7 days a week so I'd rate them 4 stars... Two years of wear would be what I consider excellent, and the prior pairs good... not great.

Excellent on icy driveways! I use these for snowblowing, and they are perfect!

My best choice, sized correct, good fit, perfect casual slip on, request more color choices..

My normal size is 10; after reading reviews I purchased both 10 and 10.5 sizes....I'm going to keep the 10.5, it's just a tad loose in the heel but the front width/length is spot on- the size 10 was just a bit too short and narrow (too tight). Update to follow on shoes performance, build quality seems quite good.-

Excellent grip in snow and on ice. Best I've ever had. But fit is a bit off. Medium width is too wide and the left shoe is about a half size to large. I wear a size 13. Would be great in a narrow width and with available half sizes. But shoes are quality materials and warm.

I have been wearing these for the last month all day 7 days a week. I love them on the snow and ice here in Montana only wish they were 3-4" taller to keep deep snow out. Thank you

I bought a black pair, but also have a brown pair my wife bought me a few years ago. Just so I can alternate with my clothing colors. The Storm Chaser Slip Ons fit, but are snug. Would be nice if they were slightly larger. Just because they have that Vibram slip resistance don't mean you wont slip on ice. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because these winter shoes are to expensive as are most of LL Beans clothing. Which I wouldn't buy because of their prices.

This is my second pair. I have worn them hard and there is still plenty of tread on them. A small leak developed in the toe area.

With my arthritic back, these are great, they slip on easily, comfortable, and great traction.

I found these shoes to be quite warm and dry, and that's exactly what I was looking for. The construction seems to be quite good. I expect them to hold up well. Although they fit well enough, they seem to run a bit large.

The slip on shoes fit to size and seem well built. I would have given a five star rating but the right shoe feels a little bit bigger than the left shoe, (feels a little loser than the left shoe). I would not return for this because it has not hurt the function of the shoe.

I have worn this shoe only twice, first after an ice storm. The traction was terrific and my feet were kept dry. As advertised in the ad, do not wear this shoe in the house as it has a rough sole for traction on slippery surfaces which can scratch interior floors such as wood. I usually order one size up but this time kept with my actual size of 7 1/2. Since the shoe does not have laces or velcro straps to bind it tightly it did have some play even though it took some effort to put the shoes on.

Not so easy to slip on, but very comfortable.

These are well made boots but I found my heal slipped up and down when I walked. This was not for me so I returned them. If the boot had some contour that held your heal down it would be great.

These are very well built. Nice insulation and waterproofing. Only issue is, I have a wide foot and it only comes in standard width. Little tight on the toes but i'm suffering through it. Wish it was offered in wide though, then it'd be perfect. Could not find any ' quality" waterproof insulated slip-on shoes so I took a chance. If it continues to hurt my toes and not wear in, I may have to return them... Sucks ....

Love the convenient slip-ons; however, it was very irritating to place this order and the next day receive a 20% off offer. If this is the way you do business, I will not be ordering anything else for quite awhile.

I am somewhat pleased with these shoes. They are a little short in size, but not enough to be uncomfortable. They are better than regular shoes on the ice, but not great on wet ice. I still need shoe chains or spikes to feel safe on the ice, so I really didn't gain a lot by spending the extra money for these fancy shoe soles.

It clearly helps in icy conditions but you still need to be careful as it doesn't completely "stick" in all icy conditions.

It fits well. Haven't had a chance to see how it does in snow.

I want these shoes but had to return the size 12 (my usual size) as too narrow in the toe box when I wear a heavier winter sock. Ordered another pair up a size and hope they fit better in the toe without slipping off the heel. Really like the Arctic Grip for sole though.

I chose a size 13 as a 12 was too small. Could've used a 12 1/2. A little too loose fitting. Bought to handle the sloppy days of winter when walking the dog. It serves its purpose.

Love everything about this boot, BUT the heel is too loose. The toe is tight, but felt like it would hold my foot well. However, my heel slips up on every single step. I am wearing medium thick hiking socks, but if I go any tighter, the toes will be overly tight.
