Love the look of this shoe, but my foot apparently requires a double x. So will have to return or exchange, locally.

Narrow for size D. I find this shoe narrow. Hurts my feet.

I have always been a size 8.5 but have found that these run large and are a bit uncomfortable as a result. They also have shown a bit of "fuzzy" wear on the top in just a few weeks. Love new balance but these are not my favorite.

I have wide feet (women). Most brands are introducing snug for styles which in turn makes them too narrow. Great that they come in wide and extra wide but will likely have to size up even in the extra wide.

I would definitely size up. It was way too tight in the toe box.

Go up a size cause definitely run short I usually wear a 10 wide in the 860 but this version runs small

I love new balance shoes however the extra wide is not wide enough so I had to go with Brooks they extra wide is wider than your new balance. Sorry

I ran with these during my winter track season and they were alright. I had the Fresh Foam 880 before and I really liked those, but I don't like these as much. They fell kinda heavy and don't have very much cushion. If you are like me and are looking for a lighter pair of shoes, I would not recommend these.

Runs small very disappointed. Wish I had gone to a store to purchase so I could try on. They don't fit like the other ones I have bought

More cons this time around. Shoe laces constantly untying, never a previous problem. Logo on tongue made of raised rubber, not a benefit to the shoestring lacing pattern; may be cause of rubbing shoestrings loose. Would return if I hadn't worn both inside and outside.

I love these shoes and have worn out many, many pairs. But this most recent style of higher and wider and stiffer outside edge gave me blisters. First time ever.!

Too stiff, felt blocky, i thought it was leather, not fabric, but pretty.

The shoe bed is, for me as a walker, too stiff. That's just my personal preference for a more flexible sole, a softer sole. I guess I don't need the super support these shoes have. The red/maroon color however is standout, and I enjoy wearing them 'round town.

I have wore 860 versions for quite some time now but I do not like the high part in the back coming up on my ankle makes it hard to put on.

These shoes are ok at best. Not as cushioned as previous versions. I really dislike the limited color choices- ugly and uglier. The 860 v11 had so many nice colors (even in wide) that I was hopeful NB was going to be making more colors available. Tried these on in a store and didn't buy them. Will wear my V 10 and V 11 versions for now.

I like the style of shoe but they are cut smaller than my normal size. I've only had them for a month and didn't wear them a lot but when my feet swell I can't wear them.

I would use these for the gym and walking, but I just received and they are being returned. They are a full half inch wider in the toe box than the Fresh Foam x tempo v2 which I also ordered. Love those. If you need a narrow shoe, don't order the Fresh Foam x 860 v 12 but if you need a wide toe box these are for you.

I also have these is the Blue with Light Mango which fit perfectly with a tiny bit of room in the length (10 Wide) So I ordered a 10 Wide (same size) in the Black with Phantom, When I tried them on they are a bit shorter in length. My toes are touching the end so I will be unable to wear these for any period of time. I have been away, so I believe I'm past the return date.

Having been both a regular purchaser and a big fan of 860 running shoes for several years, I was surprised to see how this version is nothing like any of the previous versions. This lacks cushioning -- my old 860's with at least 1000 miles on them still feel better cushioned -- and feels very stiff. I am not sure exactly what "fresh foam" is supposed to suggest, but it certainly is not cushioning. It also seems to run a little narrow and short.

I like the look of this sneaker but the cushion is why I spent more money and it was so poor I had to but gel inserts. I normally wear a 7 wide (which these are) but these it rubbed my little toes sore. Note that they are worn in they are more comfortable but for the price I expected more cushion on the sole of the shoes
