I will not be buying another pair of these shoes. This is my third pair and they are not the same comfort anymore. Not sure what Fresh Foam means but each time spend some time walking or running .. my feet are sore and disturbed. I seem to feel more the road/path surface that I did feel with the earlier models. For the money .. not worth the torture.

I always wear a straight size 8....in every show, boot, heels etc...all my adult life. These are probably about a half size short of being a standard size 8. I order shoes online, successfully and quite often. This shoe is just not sized quite right. I returned it and 12 days later I still didn't have a confirmation email or my refund. I found my proof of delivery online which wasn't easy to find at all...I did the "chat" option in customer service which kept me waiting for about 10 minutes and it was almost my turn and they closed the chat and said to text my concerns...so I did, 3 times over the course of a week and no one replied but I finally got an automated reply to go to the website....grrrrrrrrrrr...so I tried the chat again and got through. She said I should have a confirmation email but I didn't so she sent me one and she said that she also ordered the refund which can take up to 5 days...I said thank you but it's already been 12 days once you received my return and no refund was issued so now I will be waiting another 5 days? She said yes....grrrrrrrrrrr again but it's a good thing because I didn't even have a confirmation email so who knows if it would have ever been refunded without me asking. I will never order from New Balance online again. I've worn NB for years and they always fit me better than any others...but I'll never do it online. What a mess. So disappointing. I don't have a NB store close to me so I was excited to order online but ...no no no. Ty Suzanne

I ordered a 2e thinking it would be wide enough. Felt good when put on but after walking for 30 minutes feet were sore and rubbing side of shoe. Lots of styles are 4e for men why do you not make the same for womens shoes.

I need to return these -- huge toe box for a medium width so if that is a problem you encounter, these will be good.

8.5 WW has been my size for a while now - either my foot has changed (possible) or NB is making some styles a wee bit smaller/shorter/more narrow - I do wish they would stop changing the styles so much. I love my 840v4's - and they no longer make them. I've been through several different ones to try to find something that fits as well -- still no luck.

Hard to say - New Balance has been my choice forever, may have to change that now.

They are stiff and flimsy....hard to get the laces tied because the tongue doesn't want to lie down. When you are wearing them they don't feel like they are giving me much support. Would not buy again.

The sneakers are very well made, however, there is a defect in the toe area of the right sneaker. It's very painful. I'm hoping that New Balance will send me a replacement.

I purchased this pair of shoes specifically for the trip to Europe. They start hurting my feet already by the end of the trip while I was still on the plane and I had to change them to sandals that I had in my hand luggage. I am still in Europe and I don't know what am I going to do because I really need a them here. I will definitely return them when I come back. They hurt my feet especially my toes although the size of seems to be adequate.

They are okay to where for just a few. But if you're going to be on your feet all day like I am find something different.

I have used this model shoe for years and loved it until now. For starters I had to go up a half size and get a wide. Even after that they don't seem to fit right and even pinch a little on one side. Then the new back rubs my heel funny and I'm getting blister from it. I also don't think its as good looking as its been in previous models. Sad that I will need to find another running shoes, thought I had a keeper.

Disappointed in the 860.12. The shoe laces were so short I could not tie. The eyelets had no plastic around the hole, just holes punched into fabric . The tongue was already fraying. I sent back. I have purchased other New Balance and was very happy. These were poor quality.

the quality of material is good but quality of bottom foam is terrible. after 2 weeks the rear right/left corner of bottom foam became uneven, therefore, i felt like rolling on the right or left on each step. the heal roll of bottom is bad as well as it adds to rolling feeling and it is easy to twist the ankle at any time. thanks to zappos return policy - the sneakers going back to store.

After a week the right shoe feels like there’s something in the shoe, rubbing my little toe, always has NB sneakers they were so comfortable not these. I’d return them if I had kept the box.

I run 3-4 times a week. I have planters fasciitis and bunions so I needed a wide running shoe. I purchased a 7.5 wide which fit good, however, I Feel there is not enough cushioning for my particular issues.

Noticeable difference from v11, which were more cushiony and felt like I was walking on air. Got exact same size and these feel shorter. When I'm working out, feels like my toes are hitting front if I jump forward. Wish they'd bring v11 type comfort back. Would exchange but can't figure out which ones would be as good as v11.

This style was purchased in January--about 8 months ago. I walk 25-30 miles a week and have always been happy with New Balance for comfort and stability as I pronate. Normally, I replace my shoes about once a year, but the fresh foam version just hasn't held up as well as previous pairs. I find that I roll from side to side as I walk, which makes me nervous about losing my balance. And the outside of the heel tread has worn away quickly. As a result, I have developed tendinitis and now need Physical Therapy. Needless to say, I am switching to a different brand shoe which is highly rated to prevent the pronation and tendinitis. Sure wish New Balance would bring back earlier and better versions.

The foam felt like I was leaning to the outside of the shoe.. not a level sole.

This shoe is no longer a comfortable option for me. It has changed too much. The v.10 fit like a glove and I could walk for kilometers in them. Now I have tired, sore feet. The heel is not as snug or cushioned and rubs. The top of the toe rubs and causes discomfort. This feels like another company's shoe which I did not purchase again. So, it is back to the Running Room to find a new shoe. New Balance used to be my favourite shoes.

I've worn 860s for years and loved them. This most recent update was all for the worse. The shoes feel completely different, was getting heel and back pain while wearing them. Change to my old 860v11 and all the discomfort went away. I'm very disappointed with the new update.

The shoestrings are WAY too short, they don't even reach to tie a knot and longer laces are not available online at the moment. The toe box seems a lot smaller, shorter, and tighter than previous models in the exact size. I've worn the 860s for years but I think these are unwearable to run in.

I ordered these in all black in size 6.5 wide. With a no show thinner sock, they fit perfect. They also look pretty cool. The problem is with quality control. The pair I received had a huge glob of glue on the inside of the shoe where the N logo is. I will be returning these shoes for the all black 880 v12.

Hello, I have been running in New Balance for 8 years. I was disappointed with the construction of this shoe. Looking at the back of the shoes side by side it was apparent there were uneven. One sole seemed to be higher then the other. The sewing up the heel was off. I returned then because I could feel the difference. I would like to order another pair. Hopefully that was a one off.
