The laces are not as good as my M860B11. They keep loosing up. My past 3 pairs I never double tied.

I wear these shoes for walking and casual wear. They are attractive, comfortable and well made. Nice shoes but nothing extraordinary. I have several pairs and wear them fairly frequently. They fit to size. A nice shoe for a fairly high price.

These are good shoes. I would give a 5 star except they are not true to size as past New Balance have been. I have worn New Balance shoes for over 15 years and have not had an issue until now on sizes. I had to return and re-order for a larger size.

This shoe is lovely and is like walking on a cloud. My only issue is that its sizing does not match other NB shoes. This shoe runs small, both in length, and width. I'm normally 10.5 EE. With 840's that size is a perfect fit and match my rockports and brooks, but with this shoe, I needed to order an 11 to match the toe length and am still not 100% happy with the width of the shoe. X-Wide is too wide, but the wide is just a touch narrow. I'll stick with these because I love the ankle support, but I wish NB sizing was consistent. Don't say it's EE if it's E, don't say it's 10.5 if it's a 10...

A great looking shoe, but a bit heavier and stiffer than my previous New Balance purchases, including the New Balance 680v6. The 680v6 was lighter and more comfortable right out of the box. I have only had the Fresh Foam 860v12 for a few days . Hoping they break in soon

I was not sure if I wanted to get the new version NB 860's based on reviews. I really liked my old ones which became very comfortable. I did go ahead and buy the new version v12 860 and I am very happy with them with the (exception of the tongue not staying put. ) why do companies change a good thing?

I have been wearing 860s for years now and love them. This is my third pair. These are a little tight but should break in soon.
The biggest issue I have was paying for 1 day shipping ($25) and receiving them almost a week later. I needed them for a trip and they arrived the day after I left. Should probably ask for a refund on the shipping,

I've been a 1080 guy but I have a thing with over pronation so I tried the 860. They aren't nearly as comfortable as the 1080 but my knee issue have been less severe after a good jog. I had some unfortunate rubbing on the ankle but other then that I like them.

I was on vacation when they arrived. My first trial yesterday they seem a bit wider than I had thought. The length and comfort are fine. When I compare to my other orders, they were not wide

Great shoe comfort and support been looking for a shoe like this for quite some time. However the laces that came with this shoe are too short. They don't carry laces and told me to return them. Look i didn't buy a pair of shoes to return them. It's not uncommon to buy large wide shoes and have short laces but this is ridiculous.

Width was snug for 4E but they are the best of several brands I tried.

I use these for walking primarily. Light weight, nice colors, roomy toe box. My only complaints are there is no arch support so I had to buy inserts, and the price, imo, was mighty high.

These are great shoes and I usually buy 2-3 pairs a year. Then I structuring in these are fantastic and something I would expect. Funnily enough, the laces on these particular model seem shorter than the ones in the past. I have a high volume foot and that is the only negative.

Great arch support. Overall Good for walking. I wish they would reinforce the top of the toe. My big toe keeps cutting through the material after several months.

I have been wearing the 860 for several years and like the shoe very much. However, a problem I have with Version 12 is that the tongue of the shoe slips to the side while I am wearing the shoes. I have not had this problem with previous versions of the 860.

Love the shoes. I ordered E width, which used to fit me fine. A tad narrow this time; next time I'll try to order extra wide (EE width?)

I actually purchased the white color, very cool, and a nice classic look with jeans, would have gave them a 5 star rating but the length is a little tight.

This style fits and allows me to walk without foot pain due to arthritis in my foot. I now have four pairs. I did like the older version Fresh Foam with the soft back that is higher on the tendon in the back. But all in all the shoe is great.

I got fitted at a running store for my foot dynamics. This shoe was the most comfortable and corrective shoe I tried on and purchased 2 pairs. The v1 and v2, for the gym and to wear around in the office.

Please use holes in sneakers for laces not slits. And laces provided are much to long.

I have been wearing the 860 for at least the past 5 to 6 years. My last 2 pair were V9's, and for all previous versions I wore a Size 11, 2E. I ordered the same size for the V12's but have found them to be slightly smaller, not so much that I decided to go up a half-size, but where the previous versions has a little extra room in the toes, I would characterize the V12's as being more snug.
I'll also note that the heel 'tab' (the 'flare' at the heel of the shoe) is taller by about 3/4 inch.
