I do a fair amount of walking on road and off. Have purchased shoes from all the top names and this shoe is one of my favorites. The size seems to be true and it is very comfortable. I was disappointed to learn New Balance did not offer a Military discount on this particular model..

I know they are supposed to be running shoes, but I have two pairs as my dedicated pickleball shoes. They are nice and cushioned well, yet the heel is narrow, so you can move sideways without catching it. I've worn other NB shoes for pickleball and they didn't have enough cushion. I live in a community with a 1200 member pickleball club so it's serious and competitive. These shoes have held up great, and performed well.

Leave it to New Balance for another incredible sneaker. Awesome fit. Very stylish.

I notice I lean more forward in these shoes than I have in similar NB sneakers, which feels more comfortable when I'm trying to walk fast.

Glad they had Sulphur yellow.....Grey and black colors are so dull...shoe feels great as welll

860 G12 4E Comfortable quality made shoe Long time customer Shoelace eyelets are symmetrical to each other Same number on each side. More user friendly Easier to lace up than the 860 G 10 4E which has four on one side and five on the other.

These shoes are awesome. I have wide feet and usually a 10 but the person at the store convinced me to go 10.5 and my feet are very happy . New Balance makes the best running shoes period.

I bought another brand about 6 months ago after wearing NB for years, (won't mention the name). Same size but just didn't fit as well as the NB and after months of trying to break them in I gave up and bought a pair of the 860 v12. I'll never make that mistake again. I don't run anymore due to bi-lateral knee replacements but I wear athletic shoes everyday and still stay pretty active.

I've ran several half marathons and a full marathon and these shoes have felt the best as of now for me. They are soft on the street when running and also feels nice as well on the treadmill. Strongly recommend this shoes for anyone who's interested in running some distance.

I wear these shoes mostly for walking and they are incredibly comfortable and light. I used to have planter's fasciitis and New Balance keeps that from coming back. I wish there were better color choices, but the black/white looks amazing and I like how the "N" is implemented on this model as a raised outline of the letter in a firm material and not just a sticker-like patch.

The new shoes have brought the joy back to running! The cushion is allowing me to do the work necessary to get better at my chosen hobby.

Replaced my 860v11 with these, and I could tell a difference immediately. I overpronate, and these are the best shoes I've ever had.

I have used the 860's for years. The V12's seem to be a little stiffer and the toe box is clearly a little smaller. The same 9 1/2 felt a little smaller at first but broke in. The new colors and design are much better
