Good looking shoe while still offering plenty of width. Just got them but liking them so far. With most altras I'll size up a half size. Usually I'm an 8 and went with the 8.5 which fit well.

Love these new Altras! I had Escalantes and needed a new set for running after wearing those thin. These have all the toe box space I like, and they are extra “firm” or controlling in the talus which I like and I need. My left ankle tends to overpronate due to multiple ankle sprains in college volleyball. This helps it stay still and keeps me running without pain.

I wanted a natural fit shoe (wide toe box and zero drop) that had some cushioning. It’s really difficult to find. This has just enough for someone who works on her feet all day, but not too much to lose the foot/ground connection.

I love these Altra Superior 5 shoes! Comfortable and cute, though I did have to buy a half-size larger to accommodate my orthotics. Looking forward to many miles in these.

The Superiors are the first pair of Altras I've ever owned. All I can say is, finally! I have wide feet, and all the shows I've ever purchased either were too small or had a big toe box.
I'm not a runner by any means; just looking for a good pair of trail hiking shoes for the summer/ fall months.
These are great and fit perfectly.
I highly recommend them.

Because of the size of the toe box I have to wear these shoes all the time, summer and winter. I can't tell for sure what they are made of, but I could use something made for winter. And, while the wild colors are fun, I could use something more basic - as in no orange!

I love these shoes. I've owned two pairs of these shoes and they are by far my favorite shoe I've owned and the most comfortable shoe for me. I love the wide toe box. They at first feel snug but over time they mold to the perfect comfortable fit. I have bad knees and these shoes have provided just the right cushion to feel support for a long period of time. I will definitely keep buying these! :)

I typically wear a wide shoe, and/or a half size larger, but this Altra Superior 5 fit comfortably right off the bat. I did remove the insert that came with the shoe and put another w/ slightly more cushion in. I have an incredibly difficult time finding comfortable shoes but I walked in these several miles on day 1, no need to break them in. Bought at least another pair and also found a pair of mens Altra for my husband.

This is my second pair of Altras. This is a sturdy comfortable shoe with a wide footbed and plenty of room to stretch your toes! I usually wear a size 39 but I go up a size for my athletic shoes which is what I did with these and they fit great! I walk every day in the Arizona sun and my feet remain comfortable. Also, sometimes I walk on a hilly dirt trail with rocks and I don’t feel like I will lose my footing like I do in regular tennis shoes. I do add an insert with a firm arch support which really helps my knees. But overall, very happy with these shoes.

I love this running shoe! I upgraded to the Superior 5 after putting about 450 - 500 miles on the Superior 4.5s - all trail running miles. This shoe is super lightweight and has a minimal amount of cushion; which I love. It feels agile but still very grippy while running trails. I find it comfortable with or without the removeable rock plate - I typically run without it and even on rocky trails I haven't experienced any discomfort. I'd say it's best for runs under 10 miles just due to the minimal cushion, but on the plus side, you can always feel the ground (in a good way) that you are running on.

Love the style of the shoe! But I wish I had ordered a whole size bigger. I went for half a size up and its too small, I hate when my toes touch the front.. specially for tunning downhill its a bad idea. But I left the US and I didnt get a chance ti change them ;(. Super cute running shoe though!!

These sneakers are everything! The European design is unique. The navy color contrasts with the orange soles amazingly! Fit is smaller than normally though, so i recommend sizing up. Size UP. Also bought these in the red. Happy happy.

By far the most shoe I have ever worn! I have flat, wide feet. Unfortunately, I also have have arthritis and bunions. I love to walk 4-5 miles a day bit due pain in my feet I was no longer able to until I found this shoe. The wide toe box, with just the right amount of support have allowed me to be back out walking at least once every day. After years of searching I finally found the shoe that works for me! Definitely size up by .5 as it runs a little small.
