Have worn through countless pairs of these. They only last me 3 months because the material on the inside of the heel is so flimsy it gets chewed up by my heel pressing on it. Please fix this Altra!

I have Haglund's deformity with Achilles issues. My PT said we need to get me into zero drop shoes. Also the soft heel counter doesn't bother my Haglunds. For the past 3 years, these are the only shoes that don't bother my foot. Glad there are new colors as I don't like white sneakers and have only bought the black. I just purchased the grey! Will likely purchase blue in the future. More colors would be great! Please, please, please never change the design of this shoe!!!

I love these shoes! Only shoes I can walk in with planter fasciitis. Really reduces the pain! Great walking show. Please make more of the white color.

I go to exercise class in my Solstice and also wear them just because they are so comfortable on my feet. I need a bit of a riser in my left shoe and with the Solstice, my foot doesn't feel like it's going to come right out of the shoe.

Returned and I'm just hoping to find them in person someday so I can try them on and know they'll fit. I do love my Altra trail runners, but I'm not certain enough of the size conversion between styles to reorder.

I love my new Altras. My toes have space. They have the perfect amount of low cushioning. I've been wearing them almost daily. Walks and weight training. And they are cute! The only think I don't like is the laces. They come unlaced often. Minimal issue, I just need to order new ones.

I really like this shoe. It was been my go to for HIIT, strength, and cardio workouts for several months. Great all around shoe with a comfortable fit. My only complaint is they have started to fall apart much sooner than I would expect. I have not used them for anything crazy and the sole is peeling off one side and the mesh in the forefoot is treating apart in both shoes. Love them but they don't hold up at all.

I am usually a size 10 I've bought Altras previously and a ten was a smidge too small so I sized up to a 10.5.. these are floppy. If I tighten the laces too tight the toe box is too loose and roomy.

Plenty of space for my toes, fits securely in the heel, isn't hot, doesn't have the annoying outsole that rubs against my instep like most of the other Altra models I have tried. I wear these in complete comfort for hours at a time while walking or playing pickleball. I even ordered them in a color I didn't want just to get a second pair in my size. (Altra, PLEASE get the white back in stock!)

I play pickleball in these shoes. I love the wide toe box. They are comfortable, although I would like it if the sole had a bit more cushioning. One negative is that the tongue of the shoe is not wide enough.

This shoe is by far the best wide toe box brand I've bought and I have tried many, vivo, splay, feelgrounds, be lenka, groundies, etc BUT they fall apart so easily. They barely last a few months without the majority of shoe falling apart. The price just isn't worth it because these shoes will not last you longer than a month or so if you intend of wearing them for everyday use.

Excellent for my bunion and arch. I have three pair's now. Please bring back the white so I can have a back up pair when they get too dirty!

I have been wearing these for tennis for over a year and I love the way they feel on my feet while playing! Perfect amount of cushioning for me and nice and low that helps my feet stay flat - no ankle rolling. For me they fit like a glove! These are the only shoes I have been able to find that are foot shaped, zero drop and wide enough for me.The down side is that the white ones I've been wearing only last 3 months max as I wear the medial tread and the toe portion wears down to the fabric underneath rapidly. I recently purchased a pair of light blue ones and although I'm not positive, I believe it's possible that the quality of the tread may be made of a denser rubber than the white or black ones - so they might last longer. Will have to see about that but that's my hope! Shoe laces are way too short (2"), like others mention and they come untied easily.

Between my husband and I we have owned a dozen Altras. Climbing 14ers in Lone Peak and Pilgrimages in Olympus. I got the Solstice for Cross fit and dog walks, they started ripping in 3 months.

I absolutely love the way this shoe feels. However it is wearing faster than any other shoe I've had. I got these just over 3 months ago and while I do walk often and work out daily these are already tearing and wearing on both outside and inside. Pics attached. I really wanted to be a repeat customer, but for the price I just can't justify it.

I love how these look and feel, but after just a few months, the sole is coming apart. I came back to buy a replacement pair, but they're sold out.

The shoes have felt great so far. They are not super cushiony, but I like flatter shoes for the gym anyway. I've gone straight from weight lifting to jogging and my feet have felt great the whole time. The reason I took a star away is that I feel like within the same brand, sizes should be standard. However, my 6.5 Timps and Superiors are definitely slightly smaller than these. I wish I would've seen that these run a little big because I should've ordered a 6.0.

These are great shoes for functional fitness until the sole separates from the rest of the shoe. When you can fix this, it will be the perfect crosstrainer.

The bottom of the soles for all of ultra shoes come apart fast. Please fix this issue

These shoes are fine, I guess, but I can't wear them and don't recommend them because the shoelaces are way too short and require you to cinch them up so tight as to be uncomfortable and unwearable just to be able to tie them normally. When I contacted Altra about what I assumed was an error, they told me that they do not have laces for distribution. Ummmm?? Literally every pair of shoes you sell requires you to distribute laces? Given the price point, I expect to be able to wear them without having to make another purchase from another company first. Do better.

I've noticed their new line of shoes are starting to feel too tight. altra- keep the wide shoes, that's what sets you apart!!! I love their return policy, customer service, quicker than Amazon shipping! I will continue to fully support and rave about Altra!! Just please get better (think more neutral and earthy tones) in your shoe color selection and don't turn to the narrow shoe, keep the regular as a staple!

I've worn this to work for the past couple months which does require some walking, nothing strenuous, and then to orange theory twice. It is not a durable shoe. It is peeling from the heels and the cloth is already showing a lot of wear and tear. I was excited about the toe having more durability, but the rest of the shoe is not holding up. I like the fit and comfort level, and it's great for cross training, but I expected them to last much longer. Altra was very kind and quickly resolved my issue.

I have tried and returned many different types of Altras but none compare to the originals. The newer models are all wayyyy too narrow. And the shoestrings are all short!! Mine tore in no time at the toe.
