I'm a mailman and this is my 2nd pair. The sole on this pair is separating. One of the "lugs" is separating from the sole. Pretty much the same review as from the UPS driver. 1st pair from about 1 years ago did not have this problem

I love Altra running shoes but these are marketed as work shoes and they simply aren't good for work. They are not slip proof, the insole wears out quick, and whenever they get wet at work you see black altra foot prints everywhere. Leaking back dye is a real problem with these shoes. I would recommend the running and walking shoes but as far as a quality slip proof work shoe goes, altra does not have anything worthwhile. I'm not even 6 months in and I have to switch back to my old altra Escalante's. (which are not slip proof either but more comfortable and don't leak dye everywhere) At around $160 this purchase was a total bust.

These are nothing compared to the first pair ,that I bought locally. Both the same shoe and size. These have no cushion and are too narrow. I will not be wearing them.

They were terrible. My feet have not hurt so much. They stretched out and fit like a slipper. At first I thought they would be great then they stretched out . I finally went back to my old shoes. They helped with the pain. I love my old Altra shoes but can't get them any more

I am a chef so I got these for work. Super comfy but to call these slip resistant is irresponsible. I was slipping all over the place and I got a 2nd degree burn from having no footing. Stay away

They have almost no heel or ankle support, and the sole are wearing very quickly. They caused so much pain in my feet. I had to stop wearing them.

I purchased these for my husband who does not wear them daily and they have started to fall apart at the heels on both shoes. I have filed a claim with Altra 24 hrs ago but have not gotten a response.

On my third day wearing these to work at my rest stop plaza job, they started making a sound like I walked on a wet floor. This sound happened even on my concrete driveway..

I was recommended Altra by a friend who is a long time customer of yours. I bought Torin 5 Leather, she bought Via Olympus and we started wearing them on the same day. It soon became apparent that my pair was wearing much faster, even though we were walking the around the same distance. Now her pair still looks good, but the sole on mine has worn thru to the fabric. The toe area of the sole also wore badly and stopped being waterproof. In fact it acted more like a sponge so, even when the ground was only damp, moisture would seep thru to the foot. It's a real pity because when I first put them on it was like walking on air and I almost ordered a second pair right away! I was going to chalk it up to bad luck but now I see there are lots of similar reviews about wear on this particular model. Seems like a design or manufacturing flaw for this style shoe letting down an otherwise well regarded company.

I needed a wide toe box for a compressed nerve in my foot. My orthopedic Dr recommend these shoes. I paid the high price and got them. They were great at first but the sole started shredding underneath within 3 months! I fell leaving work badly injuring myself because of the pieces coming apart underneath! Chunks are coming off the bottom of the sole! Altria you'll be hearing from my attorney! I will now have to miss work because of these injuries.

In less than 2 weeks, the sole started to separate on the forefoot of the left shoe's outsole . For the premium price of these shoes, this should never happen. Now I'm worried about my Altra Escalante 3 doing the same thing.

I got the shoes in the mail and put them on. They felt good. At work, it was a bad experience. The shoes say they are slip resistant. These are NOT slip resistant shoes. Do not buy them for work.

You guys need to measure more 13 and above feet to realize peoples feet get narrower in proportion the longer they get. Not wider. Ex shoe store manager. I could literally gather material in my hand.

After 1 shift working in a restaurant I know for a fact that these are VERY SLIPPERY. And I am very worried about the tread wearing out. I love the way they fit and feel. Ego midsole is great on every one of Altra's shoes. But the rubber compound needs major work
