Originally purchased my normal Altra size (I have 3 pair). Returned and reordered 1/2 size larger and wide fit. Now they fit and feel like the Altra I've come to love.

On my daughter's & son in law's recommendation, I bought my first pair of Altra Lone Peak. 3 weeks later I bought a 2nd pair of Torin 5 leather ! These are like a dream come true. I have a high arch, paired with wide feet. I've tried half dozen different brands over the past 10 years, and none fit properly. NB used to be my ''go to'' sneaker, but they have gotten away from wide sizes ( I take a 4 E )...Thank you !

While not steel toe, it holds up to the durability for an automotive mechanic. It's been hard to find a foot-healthy work boot/shoe and this is the best I've gotten thus far

This is my second pair of the men's Torin 5 leather. This is my go-to shoe for everyday use. They are amazingly comfortable and great for walking. Because they come in all black I can wear them with my Fire Department uniform. I have been buying Altra shoes since the company started. They are all I wear, whether running or everyday. You won't be disappointed. Now if only Altra made a boat shoe.

They are great feeling on my feet

I love the leather and the room in the toe bed. Shoe feels very solid. I ordered a pair in black and grey. These shoes feel a lot studier than the mesh ones. I use them for walking.

I have been using ultra for about 15 yrs now or more, I did not know about wide size and for me it is perfect 10.5 wide is so wonderful! I am 5'8 and 170 on my feet most times, wide ultra is a game charger for me.

It totally works I'm about to buy another pair the minute I get my paint. Try a grey/tan people will pay more for the colors. i like mauve and sand for this next pair these were dictated to me by podiatrist. just because they fit properly doesn't mean they cant be fun. come on now

These are super comfortable for running around at work. If you're on your feet all day, running like a chicken, these will do the trick. The shoes are also slip resistant. The toe space is very ergonomic to my feet and I come home to less sore feet

Fantastic cushioning & comfort. There is little extra forefeet space. I would have preferred a slim shape. Overall shape not very flattering because of the "Footshape" fit. I would have liked the typical fit shape. I wish that you make typical foot shape shoes with this great cushioning. Overall I am extremely happy. This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn in my life!

Love these shoes, I forget I have them on. Finally a black polishable shoe that fits the requirement's for UPS. Very short break in period, and Altra is the only shoe that lasts me a year to a year and a half! Sure beats looking for new shoes every three to four months. I have had no problems with slipping. You have to expect a slip of you step in a puddle of oil or grease.

I am a woman with VERY wide, problem feet; women's Wide are just not wide enough so tried the Torin 5 Leather in men's Wide (I wear 8.5 in women's, so got 7 in men's). Love the "foot shape" that allows room for my wide forefoot but also fits snugly on my heel. The shoes are well made of soft, supple leather, and are surprisingly lightweight, giving comfortable support. I did treat them with water repellent for leather, hoping I can wear them in all weather AND for traveling.

I am on my feet constantly for 12 hours at work. I have wide feet, so much so that most wide shoes still feel like they are cutting off my pinky toe. These shoes have such a wide toe box, my pinky toes no longer hurt! I will be ordering another pair. The only issue is I had to replace the insoles because it was as if they were not made for wide width. My feet no longer hurt when I get home and take my shoes off or when I wake up in the morning. I'm not sure about others complaints with the dye as I have not run into that problem. I've only had these shoes for about a month. I'm also not having any issues with the slip resistance compared to other slip resistant shoes.

Work 8 to 12 hours on my feet, feet are no longer sore at all, at work or at home, love them. I am a really big guy and these feel secure and comfortable. Did not work with superfeet insoles, made my foot slide to the outside, using them without and they are just great.

I am on my feet for 9 hours every day at work and walk 18-20,000 steps per day. I am also 54 yrs. old and have done this for over 30 years. These shoes are the best I have ever had for work. Toe box is great but the difference maker is the fantastic cushioning! The shoes shield these 54 year old legs from the unforgiving concrete I walk on! If you walk a lot like me, you should try these!

I use this shoe for everyday wear and for walking for exercise. Altra has always been my go-to shoes and this one fits nicely in my lineup of Altras. I wish Altra would make a deck shoe for boating.

I have a pair of (blue) Torin 5s for running and they are the most comfortable & forgiving shoes I've ever had in 45 years of running. One day I wore them for a dreaded full day of walking and holiday shopping in NYC and knew by 2 pm that I wanted a pair for casual/daily wear too. That night ordered these. My only regret is that they don't come in suede or brown to better match tan and olive khakis, in which case I'd buy two more.

Often I am on my feet all day. As a result my feet are killing me between 3 and 4 pm each day. I have had these shoes for a month and I must say they are so unbelievably comfortable. I discovered these shoes after being given a used pair from my brother( paradigm 4.5). They were a blessing in disguise. So this time I decided to buy a pair with a little dress casual affect to be worn with khakis and chinos. The wide toe box allows me to be able to do my daily 7 to 10k stepping without excruciating pain. I'd purchase these again in a heartbeat.
