A great gym and all around the town shoe. Very comfortable and good looking. It would be great if you produced the Men's Solstice XT 2 in Navy Blue.

This is the best gym shoe I've ever owned. They are extremely comfortable and have good cushioning for a responsive shoe... but not so much that they are unstable under heavy load. If you genuinely need max stability because your lifts are heavy, stick with something like the Nike Metcon. If you're like me and need a shoe built for plyometrics and speed, yet stable enough for some heavy lifting, this is it.
The only issue I had was that the sole started to peel off after two months, so I filed a warranty claim. Altra had a new pair on my door step LESS THAN 72 HOURS after sending the warranty request. Simply amazing. That solidied I'm sticking with Altra for my running and gym shoes for the foreseeable future. I love a company that stands behind their products and their warranty.

This is my first pair of zero-drop and wide-toe box. I have worn this shoe for 4 months about 5 days per week and I am a PE teacher so I am actively on my feet. This is also my around-the-town shoe. I would not recommend for hiking. This shoe is slightly more comfortable than my last pair of shoes the Brooks Ghost 14. So, yes, very comfortable! I have had many compliments on the style and have worn these shoes in semi-casual events with khaki/dark tan pants. My biggest issue is that the shoes squeak on hard surfaces with nearly every step- so a bit obnoxious. Both shoes are beginning to show some fabric wear- more wear than my Brooks which I wore for over a year.

I have had three pairs of these and they have all been very durable. I actually have been playing doubles tennis in my newest pair without any breakdown in the shoe. These are great crossovers for daily activities and light athletics. I will definitely buy again.

I've been training in these shoes for ~1 month and recently ran a half marathon in them. Felt amazing. Goldilocks level of cushioning for any amount of running - I've ran in Xeros and couldn't get much past 5 miles. If you're looking to transition to minimal and eventually barefoot style shoes, these are the best option out there!

I use the Solstice as my casual everyday shoe. Great roomy toe box and a zero drop sole. I have worn more minimal zero drop shoes but I do like the small amount of stack height these shoes offer to give my feet a break.

I'm on my feet 6-12 hours a day wearing them. They're so comfortable and lightweight, barely notice they're there. Though I did notice my feet will sweat a bit more than usual.

Picked these to use primarily for CrossFit classes, and have used for over a month now (about 20 classes). So far so good. Shoe fits like a glove and doesn't shift with all the side to side and variety of movements, and still feel great on days when we add in short running intervals. I currently prefer my Torin's for longer runs, but my Solstice pair is performing great in CrossFit. I'm always happy with going 1/2 size larger in my Altra's.

These are great. I have had a few pairs of Altra shoes and I love the zero drop. These shows feel very light and breath very well. Have used them for. Short runs, and gym. Will definitely buy again.

I wear this shoe every day, it is extremely comfortable for the gym, day to day life, etc...It is a little too low profile for longer runs, but it has transformed the strength in my feet, love them

The only problem I have with your shoes is the laces are either too short or too long.

Needed a shoe that could support HIIT and circuit training with shorts runs and sprints. I prefer low profile but needed more cushioning. This has so far worked out perfectly

I bought these to try as everyday shoes in my rotation and really like them. I'm not wearing them to the gym so no option there but I enjoy these when I wear them which is usually 1-2 per week. I do wear a lift in my right shoe and because these are zero drop it works perfectly.

Thanks to the unique shape of Altra shoes, these are the most comfortable gym shoes I have ever owned. I can work out for hours without any foot pain, which is rare for me. However, I recently posted a 2-star review of this shoe because the sole on one shoe started to come unglued after about 3 months of use. Altra invited me to submit a warranty claim after my review and has replaced my shoes with a new pair. I am impressed with Altra's customer support and am now upgrading my rating to 5 stars. Nice-going Altra!!

I am a female but bought this in a mans shoe because I prefer the "Original" wider fit. Too bad not all shoes come in that fit.
I have had lots of issues with orthotics and "supportive shoes recommend by Drs. Altra Shoes have been the best shoes. I wish they made other styles...casuals, booties etc!!

I wear this for pickleball and it's the perfect shoe for that kind of athletic activity. I wear them with my work clothes too as they are comfortable and classy looking.

Neuropathy affects my balance. I needed a shoe with minimal cushioning. After trying many other shoes, the Altra Soltice XT 2 is the grounded fit and comfort I need. I could not be more pleased.

Like the big toe box. Front part of my foot has expanded over the years. Good support and comfort. I’m an 11.5 and had to get a 13, so they run small.

I have plantar and heel pain and these shoes helped me a lot. I found the shoes with too much cushion was increasing the pain. After moving to this shoe my plantar pain is gone and heel pain has decreased a lot. More nature way to walk. I wear them every now.
