Best sneakers I've ever bought.

A shoe more natural to the foot that allows my toes to spread and utilize more stabilizing and shock absorbing muscles in my run to improve power when in a more supportive shoe. Boy does this deliver

I bought these shoes hoping they could be a reliable court shoe for tennis. While they don't provide the side stability that I want they are pretty good. They are also a good recovery shoe.

Been an Altra fan for years. Bought this pair for a trip to Italy. Put almost 100-miles on them in 2-weeks. Ready to buy every color soon.

I picked the Solstice mostly for a gym and walking shoe. I went to Sedona and did about 30 miles of hiking in 3 days and wore them almost the entire time (when I was not barefoot). They were very comfortable, the foot shaped last is very unique and feels great. The soles were very protective on the rocks. I have been wearing minimal shoes for at least 15 years, had never heard of Altra, but after listening to Golden Harper on Tetragrammaton, I figured I would check them out. Very clever making a foot shaped, zero drop shoe but still with enough cushion to protect the feet. I know Golden does not own the company anymore, please keep making quality products and don't sell out if you are Private Equity owned now. Thank you.

Ultra-comfortable Lifesaver thats tough and durable without looking that way.

Favorite gym shoe. The toe box is nice and wide and provides a stable platform when lifting. I've even used them as tennis shoes on a occasion, and they have just enough lateral stability for that.

I have 2 pairs of these (blue and black) Blue came first. They are AMAZING! I CrossFit 6 days a week. Just did Manion and crished the workout. I highly recommend these over the major brands.

Great shoe for the gym and weight lifting. Roomy toe box and zero heal provides stable footing. I have had no issues with materials, shoes are in great condition after nearly a year of use.

Wear them every day for badic footwear and for the gym. It's a big switch from the big pillows I used to wear, but I am really happy I found them. The large toe box, especially, feels great!

Purchased these almost a year ago for my gym workouts and short treadmill runs. These shoes barely see the outdoor terrain (I use Lone Peaks for that) so I've been able to preserve the tread. After 11 months, the only wear I experienced is the tag on the tongue is finally getting frayed. I've read some of the negative reviews and maybe it's just been bad luck on that batch of manufacturing. These have been nothing but bliss in the gym. I love the thin sole and ability to feel the ground and of course the wide toe box is ideal. The only weird thing is the shoe lace length is curiously short. I double knot when I run and can barely achieve that, given the length of the laces.

I wanted a shoe that was stable on turf and rubber. The Solstice seems like the perfect shoe. I own several Altras, each with its own purpose, from gym to trail to work. I like every pair I own.

Crossfit and HIIT. Excellent shoe with great stability and grip. I highly recommend these shoes for what I use them for

My feet never feel pain or discomfort. I never feel like I'm slipping or sliding in them. They don't weigh my feet down. I love them.

Basically perfect; at this after well over a year if wear point fits like a sock. I wish the mid toe was not as wide, otherwise perfect. I own vivos (also great but less padding); like these equally

Second pair of altra shoes that I love. Just wish they had it in a navy !

great for general workouts including lifting, jumping, etc. also a heck of a good walking around shoe, very comfortable

I've purchased several pairs and have used the Solstice for the past four-five years, mostly in the gym. While I can relate to the feedback on the outsole separating from the midsole (it happened to my current XT2 pair, but not to the original XT), this is still, hands-down, the best training shoe out there. I love it and I don't think it's quite fair to blast the shoe because of a minor, reparable defect. I trust Altra will get the adhesive issue fixed, and in the meantime, I got some shoe glue to fix the current pair. And I like the look of this new blue, so we'll try those too.

I have worn these a bunch for light weight or cardio focused days at my CrossFit gym and they are amazing!

I love these for everything. It feels good on the squat rack as it does on the trail.

I use this shoe to CrossFit and run. Love them. Only downside is the durability. The sole started to peel. Had to put gorilla glue and so far so good

I wear these shoes daily. My feet are unstable with high cushiony soles so these Solstice XT are the perfect combination of a minimalist shoe with enough cushion to be able to be on my feet all day with no foot pain
