A great looking shoe! Some of the reviews suggest that the shoe fits big and you should buy one size smaller than you normally take but I found that the shoe fits true to size.

The sizing suggestion of getting one size down was spot on. Love the design and the feel.

Great shoe! All Merrell's are superior to other brands in most cases. Shipping quality needs improvement for west coast markets.

A great slip-on shoe for the summer, however, be mindful of Merrell's recommendation for sizing! I own several Merrell shoes and normally take an 8 1/2 in a Moab and a Zion hiking shoes, but take a 8 in Jungle Moc leather. This particular Jungle moc does require a full size smaller than normal for me. Ordered the size 8 as a compromise and they were too big, exchanged them for the 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly, not too tight even in the toe box. Merrell's exchange process is slick and their customer service people are very helpful. Would order their products on-line again! Do feel though, that Merrell, knowing about the sizing issue, should have done something about the sizing prior to releasing these to the public. A bit confusing.

Still new, so I'll need to add a better review later. I did want to add something now about sizing. While these do run big, they only ran a 1/2 size off for me. I normally take a 12. I bout my first pair at a size 11. One full size smaller is just a bit too tight, but not enough to return them. My second pair is an 11.5, which worked out to be perfect for me. Hopefully this helps as you try to pick your size.

Very comfortable walking shoe. I bought this because my regular jungle moc is fine but very slippery on snow and ice, the Explorer has a gummy stickier sole that gives good traction on winter conditions. Fit is loose but good support and can tighten around ankle and instep. not as good looking as regular jungle moc due to dangling cord on back.

This is a stellar fit (all Merrell shoes tend to 'hold' your foot) and very comfortable. This shoe is definitely my new travel shoe in that it can be taken on/off easily, is light weight, and doesn't make you look like a child with wild colors and designs (my travel is for business always). If I were to split hairs on the shoe and my reason for holding back a star is the shoe string. It does not give that final degree of tightness I felt it could and should for folks on the move. I cut it away and installed an elastic equivalent and it solved the problem perfectly.

I really like mt Jungle Moc Explorer, it's the perfect shoe for SW Florida. I just wish the uppers were a little softer. They appear sock-like but theyare not and are a bit stiff on my old bare feet.

Get 1/2 size smaller than normal. Very comfortable

Spent 10 days at sea and in ports from Ft Lauderdale to Port Limon Costa Rica. Added Good Feet arch supports to my Moc which I bought just for the cruze. Dealt with heal spurs and hip problem and could not have enjoyed the cruise without my Merrils.

Great shoe/ Hiking in Grand Canyon/Rock climbing Durango Co. A little loose back end on some crack work.

Go for a size smaller. They fit one size too big, ordinarily am a size 10 but I had to settle for 8.5

Amazing shoes. Very versatile. Just needs a wider toe box. One size down works great!

My 4th pair of j-mocs, the others being the slip on style. Great for school (design professor) and play. My main issue is the arch support on the inner liner is not as good on jmoc explorer as the other slip on mocs. I might need to get a new insert. Merrell is my go to shoe. I use an old pair of mocs as my emergency out door slip ons by the back door.
