The hard part on the toe box rubbed my right fourth and fifth toes making these shoes uncomfortable for me. I returned for a refund. Next time; will try on at a local shoe store first. Love my Ghosts though; I'll stick with them!

I am an avid hiker and trail runner with bad/weak ankles. I?ve had 4 broken ankles, several severe sprains, torn ligaments and tendons and in spite of that I still can?t stop my love of hiking or trail running. The ONLY shoe that made it possible for me to safely continue doing it was the cascadia?s because it was the only shoe on the market that had a rock plate to protect my messed up joints, and the GTS system to stabilize the shoe from rolling my ankle. Since you have taken the GTS out of the cascadia I?ve had to switch to Hokas which have a deeper/wider drop but don?t protect my feet. Every time I run now I?m in pain all because for some reason my faithful Brooks; decided to change a perfectly adaptable, protective shoe for runners who NEED that extra support. Please bring GTS back to your trail runners for runners with weak ankles.

I ordered these because they said they were red, which is what I was looking for. I received them and they were pink. I love your brand but I was very disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered.

I'm so disappointed with these shoes! I've been wearing Brooks Cascadia shoes for over a decade, they've always been comfortable from the start, that's why I've kept buying them. But these are SO uncomfortable, I hate having them on my feet. I can't even figure out why, they feel like they're strangling my feet. I'm returning them, really bummed because my old pair is losing the tread!

I have worn Brooks Cascadia shoes for years both with Gortex and without. My reason for wearing them exclusively was because they fit me so well with my orthotics. The model 16 had appreciably changed in construction quality and fit. It was wider and floppy on my foot. The area around the top of the laces had less padding. I am so disappointed and returned the shoe.

They don't fit well. I've called customer service to return and haven't heard back. There was no return label in my box nor a receipt. I need to exchange them please. Thank you.

I've worn Cascadia for years and loved them, but 16 was such a disappointment. The quality of the fit and foot bed support were far beneath what I've come to expect from Brooks shoes. They were actually uncomfortable while trying on, never mind walking/hiking. I'm hoping this pair somehow made it past the inspectors and is not representative of the line as a whole. I've already returned them. I did buy a pair of Adrenalines at my local REI. First time with this model. So far so good.

Please stop ruining these shoes! Toebox is so wide that I can no longer wear a regular shoe. It makes me walk like a duck and my foot doesn't roll all the way front anymore. I have been wearing these since they were only sold at small outfitters stores. With every year came changes that I didn't necessarily like but this one takes the cake. I am perplexed as to why you would ruin this great shoe. This isn't about a small thing anymore. You have totally taken me out of the market with the square toe box. So disappointing when larger people can go to a wide shoe. What are normal feet supposed to do? Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this shoe to anyone anymore. : (

It did not fit my feet at all, but I still depend on other Brooks models for my bad feet.

Nice looking shoe, I bought a half size larger and still don't fit way too tight, very narrow and never seem to have anything in wide width. Not able to wear them so gave them away. My loss someone's gain.

I had a small hope that these shoes would work but unfortunately they just weren't wide enough. Brooks fails customers with its extremely limited and boring options for people with wide feet.

I have been wearing exclusively Cascadia shoes for many years (12?) but Cascadia 16 is a real let down. It's only been about 3 months and the inside of the hill the fabric is worn out on both shoes, there are holes (!) with fraying edges which almost lead to blisters. I did notice that the socks I often wear with these shoes developed little balls of shoe-lining fabric but I could not even imaging the fabric wearing out so incredibly fast. I have not described the problem very well but I am extremely disappointed.

My Cascadia 13?s have been the best trail shoes I?ve ever owned. I actually still have them but they are definitely starting to show their age. With natural wear and tear over time and with how much I used them they were starting to become an issue? so I decided to invest in a new pair of Cascadias! I thought I loved my old ones so much, why could go wrong?! I hated them. I couldn?t even walk/hike in them. They killed my feet. The part of the toe box that used to have the rubber looking guard stuff (sorry, idk technical terms) now was a hard fiber type material that stabbed my foot where my toes bend naturally every time I took a step. The shoestrings were also soooo long I had to tuck them awkwardly even after double knotting. I am a huge Brooks fan! That?s all I have run in for years! And I will continue to run in Brook?s shoes - that?s not what this review is about! I just feel like this particular shoe was NOT a good version of this shoe. I hope the next version of Cascadia is much better. I could not use these at all.

The tongue was torn from the side of the shoe before I even put the shoe on my feet. Very poor quality. I have never seen such terrible quality in Brooks shoes.

Did not like them. Tried them for 30 days. Too narrow. I don't have wide feet and have only ran in Brooks for 12 years in a 10.5 medium width. Was extremely disappointed.

Brooks! NOOO Why did you go and change on us! I have been wearing Cascadia's for years on my Arizona trails. This version is so loose and the toe box is so not Cascadia like. I am coming back from a grade three ankle sprain and even with a brace these feel so unstable. I first thought it was the injury making them feel weird but found and ordered the 15s and those were sheer perfection. I will not wear these at all. I can't. Super sad. Please please Brooks bring back the old fit and feel!

I have worn Brooks for many years and have always worn a size 7. I even have the previous version of the Cascadia shoe and it fit just fine and was a great trail running shoe. I ordered this one in my usual size 7 and it is at least a half size too big. Not sure what happened, but will be returning.

I have always been a huge fan of Brooks running shoes. I either wear the Ghosts or Cascadias depending on my run?these are by far the worst shoe I have ever bought. I keep trying to break them in and after today?s run I will be trying to return them as my heal feels like it is bruised. They hurt my feet so bad.
