Meh, a downgrade in quality. If I realized how much lettering was on the back of the heel I would have passed on this model entirely. It is overcrowded and something I would expect to only see on a vendor sample. However my Cascadia 14s have been lovingly worn out. These are a mediocre replacement. I purchased mine from a major online and bricks/mortar retailer. And I noticed that the cream outsole had mold marks like little pimples evenly spaced around the shoe. The salmon and green color mix is beautiful, and my most favorite thing about the shoe. Hope that Brooks improves the fit and padding in future models and expands its color horizons further. I've noticed a trend @BR with more super pink - purple colors, and then a mirroring of men's shades in its shoes lathed for females. Having more color options that are not gender-neutral and don't look like they are geared for Claire's boutique is something that I personally would like to see, especially since the colors I tend to pick seem to be the ones that sell out of my size 1st.

I have a slightly narrow foot- the toe box is way too wide for me so sadly I had to return them.

These felt big on me lengthwise. My usual Brooks style is Levitate. This was my first time in the Cascadia which has a very different feel. The color combination (basil, duffle and coral) was perfection, but I couldn’t get past the fit. These actually made my feet hurt. I do have slight bunions, and the fabric that the tongue attaches to inside ends right where my bunion is. As you can imagine, it didn’t take long to feel irritated. They also had a strange crease in the toe box that my Levitates just don’t have. I tried sizing down a half size and nothing improved. Sadly, returned both sizes.

I love the Cascadia 15 and purchased the 16 as a replacement. The shoe is just not the same, they are larger, the fabric is stiff and uncomfortable and the shoe laces don't stay tied. I only own Brooks for both road and trail and rotate, so I own quite a few pairs. I want to love these but may try other brands to find something that is comparable to the Cascadia 15.

Upgraded my old pair of cascadia?s after I literally ran the tread off my last pair. The new design seems much bigger in the toe box? it makes me feel like my foot will slide around more.

I've been running in Cascadia's for several years, but these new ones seem different. They felt extra stiff and hard to break in. The toe box is different and I got blisters on both big toes every time I ran more than a few miles in them. After using them for just a month I can't run in them anymore. I wish they were more like the older models.

Took these out for a hard trail run/hike out to El Cajone Mt in SoCal. They performed great...the grip and rock plate was perfect for the conditions. Generally comfortable shoe except for the toe box. It's not wide enough so it pushed in on the outside of my big toe and rubbed on top of my little toe. Disappointing because otherwise I really liked these.

I've been running in Cascadias for years, but got my first ever case of plantars while using this model. I didn't change anything about my routine, ran the same distance on the same trails for weeks. It just randomly appeared one day. I struggled with it for months, even taking time off to heal, but as soon as I started running again, it would come right back. I stumbled upon some reviews saying that this model caused or aggravated their plantars, so decided to change shoes. Within weeks of switching to the Caldera, my foot pain was completely gone, with no adjustment to my routine. It seems like something about this specific model did not agree with my feet. It didn't feel much different on than the previous model, but whether it caused plantars or not, it definitely didn't help. If you find yourself having foot pain in these, they may be the cause.

This may be a fine shoe for some but not what I needed. It's simply a running shoe with deeper treads - I was looking for a sturdier shoe that would give assurance on rugged trails. Also, for some reason my feet don't seem to sit in the proper place in the shoes, something I've never experienced before. So despite these having deep soles under the arches, my feet tend to roll inward - something I don't need as an overpronator.

I've been running with Ghost 13 and absolutely love them, so when I started trail running and hiking, I bought the Cascadia but was a bit disappointed. Like others have mentioned - and I suspect it could be us with slim feet (I use Ghost narrow 2A which fits me perfectly) - I also have issues with sloppy heel and generally just doesn't have that snug fit that I love so much about my Ghosts. Also, there's something weird going on in the toe box - although I have a size larger than my usual shoe size, the Cascadia leaves holes in my sox on the big toe and I've already ruined some of my favorite wool socks. Unless I start taping over my toes on the sox, these shoes will cost me the worth of sox far behind the cost of the actual shoe. Other than the sloppy feel and ruined sox, I haven't had any blisters or ankle/knee pains, to that's great at least. But I wish there was a narrow model that would have a better fit.

I get the same size every year. This year the 2022 was roomier in the toe box so much that I couldn't zip it up. My foor sloshed around at the toe and I almost rolled my ankle. I eneded up getting a different brand. Dang it.

I usually wear an 8.5 in most shoes but have always sized up to a 9 in brooks. I have many pairs in running and several piers of Caldera hiking and they all fit perfect. I got these in a 9 and my foot is swimming in them even with my orthotic. It’s almost as tho it were a mens shoe. I am considering reordering in an 8.5 but not sure I like them enough to do it. The fabric is slightly stiff so wrinkles and dents appear at the toe bend and I know from experience with other shoes that I will hate that if it continues to develop. The color way is the best part about these, and the comfort. They are comfortable on my foot and cushioned enough for my older problem feet it’s just that they seem “big” all around with slippage in the heel. If you have a wider foot and need extra room in the toes these may work well for you but I’ll probably return. The Caldera is my perfect shoe but it doesn’t come in subtle colors like this shoe.

I usually wear a 6 1/2 so this felt true to size but the fixed tongue made it feel tight across the arch area. I am returning because online the color looks black with blue but they are definitely more key lime green to me

I walk. A lot. (I'm training for a Camino.) This shoe was highly recommended by a friend. The fit and size were great. And very comfortable when I first put the shoes on. Unfortunately, I found that my feet and legs got really fatigued when walking in them. This isn't a problem with other tennis shoes that I own. I figured I'd keep them anyway, even if they weren't going to be my Camino shoes. But I've only owned them a short while and the cuff around the ankle is fraying. I don't even know how this happened since I'm almost always wearing shorts or leggings. There's barely any wear on the tread, but the cuff is breaking down. I hate to send back used shoes, but these were way too expensive to put up with leg fatigue AND low quality.

Unfortunately these did not work for me. I really liked the style, except they did not fit my feet right and made them hurt. I wear a size 12 and they felt a bit small. My other pair of brooks are 13 and fit great.

This shoe wasn’t for me. The material of the shoe made it uncomfortable and not flexible with my foot. I had to return.

I had high hopes for these shoes, my sister recommended me Brooks. I was looking for a pair to wear for long days of walking such as for Disneyland days. I liked the style for this shoe and unique color selection. Unfortunately, they were extremely painful on my heel and overall the entirety of my feet. I tried to give them a chance wearing them twice to Disneyland hoping I'd break them in, but they kept on making my feet hurt just after maybe 3-4 hours of wearing them. By the end of the day my feet hurt the same or more as when I'd wear normal sneakers (Nike, or Adidas). I ended up returning them upon the 90 days return policy. Maybe I just chose a wrong shoe style, if anyone could recommend a style than would be comfortable for an all day wear I'd appreciate it. I have been looking up other shoe brands such as On-Running but haven't decided on any other.

I have been wearing Brooks Cascadias for many years. I'm not thrilled with this iteration. They just don't feel as secure or as nimble as previous versions. I get a lot of lateral movement in these and can't seem to lock them down without cutting off my circulation. I just don't feel as confident on technical trails in these as I did in the 15 and preceding models. There are too many things that changed at once for me to precisely identify my complaint about them. I really don't like the bulbous toe.

Mismarked needed a 8.5 wide because of feet problems and they are to small. My other Brooks same size are perfect. Try Try again.

I found the shoes to be lacking in several areas . For example it has a small tongue. If i use the last eyelet then the laces touch my foot. I keep trying to pull on it to no avail. Extra padding at the heel but not much on the sole of the foot.
