These are NOT the Cascadia I remember. These seem to be cheaply made and i do not find them comfortable in the least. My last Cascadias I had for years, even hiked the Grand Canyon in them, these hurt just walking on a treadmill. Bring back the old manufacturing!

The shoe overall runs 1/2 size small. Bed and area around the ankle is firm-no cush. I returned them.

I returned them, to hard to get on, they felt okay after I got them on and I don't like Messi with ties.

The sneaker has an inside side lining, but it's not the length of the whole shoe. The lining stops around mid-foot, just at the ball of the foot. The lining is not seamless, and just wearing the shoes in my house for under 20 minutes, the insides of my foot, near the balls, were irritated ... & I had on regular hiking/walking socks. Disappointed, since I've been wearing Brooks for years & have never encountered an issue like this before.

Although I ordered these shoes in October only started wearing them a couple of weeks ago. Just noticed that the stitching in the area where the lining attaches to the shoe in the heel area is defective and I presume will continue to deteriorate with continued use. I have marked up this area in the returned shoes. Regret having to do this but I want a perfect pair of shoes.

Colors are great! However, this Cascadia version is very stiff and the top of the shoe is cut too high for me. It presses into my ankle bone slightly. I had to send them back.

I love Brooks running shoes but sadly these did not work for me. Too wide, stiff and clunky. I'm going back to the Brooks Divide and Launch series. I loved the old Cascadia 10 and 11's so I thought I would try these. I gave this 2 stars because I like the black and white pattern with red soles.

Disappointing new sole for the Cascadia women?s trail running shoe for trails with rock and roots in the west, the significantly reduced tread thickness and fewer wider spaced tread knobs lead to foot bruising on mid to long runs. Why are you literally short changing customers using less manufacturing material for reduced shoe performance? Trail customers, if they really do trail run, are likely your heavy users, buying 3-5 pairs a year. We notice the difference in performance (and may start looking at your competitors who heavily promote in our area). Btw, would be nice too if you did some simple focus groups with women on color choice or at least mirrored most popular women?s clothing colors. Toothpaste green and black, none of us are a fan, which is also likely contributing to reduced sales versus for example your former color of black and dark pink. Last but not least there is a significant market for wide shoes for women, as well evidenced by your ghost wide sales and average US women?s clothing size. We who distance run and wear your wide Cascadia would like to buy them in the GTX water resistant version, a key factor for winter and spring mountain running. Regular Cascadia Wides are very difficult to find anywhere including on your website since Covid. More availability would be much appreciated please. ?.Boulder, CO

My first paar of brooks cascadia were the 12 absolutely loved them and wished you would bring them back with each new number they did not got better maybe some few minor updates but over all not better- the 16 are now actually hurt my feed right in the beginning and then get better however at around 13-15 miles my feet start hurting again (never had that before in those shoes) I often go way over 15 miles (25) so I am now at the point we?re I am thinking to look for a different brand unfortunately!

This is the 7th or 8th pair of Cascadia shoes I've bought. The design seems to have changed as these do not feel the same. They are not as comfortable nor as supportive. The previous incarnations were great for hiking. I will probably look for different shoes next time.

I will be returning these shoes. I've tried wearing them around the house, but my feet start to hurt through the arch and heel before I can even get out to the trail. Even though there is supposed to be an 8 mm drop it feels like zero drop.

I am an avid hiker/trail runner with feet on the narrow side. For years the Cascadia has been my go-to shoe. However, I recently purchased a pair of the 16s and am very disappointed in their performance. The shoe platform is very wide, resulting in a sloppy fit and feel. The midsole is non responsive, and the heel slips even though the shoes are tied tightly. I have never felt so clumsy in a pair of trail runners! Although I am a loyal Brooks fan, I was forced return the 16s and buy another brand of shoe during my annual trip out west. What I would really love to see from Brooks is a pair of trail runners that fit and feel more like my Ghost running shoes!

I am a huge Brooks fan and have been wearing the Cascadia since version 6! Unfortunately, the 16 is way off the mark. I started developing plantar fasciitis after just a few uses. I contacted Brooks for some feedback on the issues I was experiencing and ended up going down a size in wide. Still, no improvement. The arch support in the 16 seems almost non-existent. I threw a pair of insoles in and have been able to wear them. Even with the insole, they feel sloppy in the heel and toe box. I've had to switch to a different brand, sigh... I'm hopeful that the Cascadia 17 will keep my feet happy again!

Please go back to the 14?s. I was so excited because 14?s were my first Cascadia, and I wore them out. By then they were sold out, or I would have bought a dup. The 16s feel less fitted rather sloppy, which feels less supportive on my foot. The toe box is too big, and the whole shoe feels too wide, odd fit. Plus colors do not offer a cute option, loved the 14 purple and pink. Please make 17?s like the 14?s, and I?ll buy two pairs.

I wanted to love these but I can?t, I?ll be returning them. I LOVED the Cascadia 14 but I just can?t find them anymore. I have been Cascadias for several years. The 16s have missed the mark. They are not as secure or flexible as previous versions. The toe box is uncomfortable and the heel just feels off in a way that?s hard to describe. Please bring back the 14s!

Wanted to love these, but they are just not comfortable. Oddly large fit, foot slides around in them and heal lifts out. Tried to lock them down a number of different ways on my foot, but then lose my circulation bc i have to tie them so tight. The plastic strips rub the inside of my foot leaving a blister and bruise and my heel hurts. I don't think sizing down will fix it. Unfortunate but these just don't work.

I recently got Brooks Ghost and they gave me a sore spot right away, so I sent them back and got replacements for my dear worn out Cascadias which I have loved, and they lasted forever. The new Cascadia 16s felt tight in the toe box. I was super bummed and send them back. I must say that I'm wondering if I've been so lazy during the pandemic and have been wearing old worn out shoes or slippers that my feet have also spread and grown lazy. I found it odd that 2 pair of what I've thought to be great shoes were not right for me. Take it for what it's worth. Shoes should be comfortable right out of the box in my opinion. So back they went.

SUCH a disappoint in quality- Been wearing Brooks for decades (in fact my very first pair) Now that I wear trail shoes, the cascadia series were great in quality: beefiness and performance on the trail. Too short tongue/laces, flimsy materials??? What happened? Thank you for ease of return, however- appreciate that! Please bring back the more quality trail shoes????
