I've loved Cascadia for several generations and this is not different. I primarily use them for hiking and backpacking, with some jogging thrown in

Never had a trail shoe, but these really held up! No foot pain from the rocks I was hiking on, and I even wore them with a 20lb pack while hiking in Yosemite. Glad I got the same size at my Adrenaline's (half size up) to save my toenails.

They are very comfortable. Can be worn all day. Good support. Brooks look great too. This is my fourth pair of Brooks Cascadia. When I broke a couple of bones in my foot this was the only shoe I could wear comfortably. That's how supportive they are.

Love Brooks. I use them for walking and everyday, not running. I like the reinforced toe that some other models lack. Nice tread depth.

My old street-running Brooks were worn down, when hubby and I started to do hiking trails. After two stumbles and a few bandaides, I decided I needed hiking trail shoes. I love my Cascadia 16s. I've never been let down with I buy Brooks

Wore these after just a short 3-mile ?break in? run on a demanding 56K in the Shasta-Trinity NF. The course featured steep ascents and descents, lots of rocks, stream crossings, and excellent mud. The Cascadias were champs all day, with a solid fit and great traction, even when wet. I haven?t worn Cascadias since the 12 and I?m glad I tried them again. I didn?t make the race cutoff time, but that?s not the shoes? fault!

I use the waterproof GTX shoes for hiking, and like the stability, durability, and protection from hiking the Ice Age Trail (and golfing) in Wisconsin. My wife has this non-waterproof version and likes the stability of no foot slip on downward hikes as well as the toe box protection that up/down hikes can challenge you with. Both shoe sizes run true to foot size.

This is my 3rd pair. My first 2 were narrow and tight. But I like how long they lasted. My earlier shoes were new balance, great shoes but tread wear out in 3 to 4 months. These last about 6 months and have a harder sole which supports your foot better

Love the wife toe box (way more space than any other athletic trainer I’ve owned), good arch support, great style. I have yet to wear them outside. This is my first impression.

I’m not a runner but I bought these because I spend a lot of my time walking around outside with dogs and my old sneakers were really worn down. These were immediately comfy and fit perfectly. They feel springy and soft when I walk on them and have great grip on the bottom. My only drawback is that my feet feel a little hot in them but my feet generally get hot in shoes quickly, so might just be a me-problem.

I used these trekking shoes to hike at Arches and Needles national parks in Utah. They were terrific! Sites recommend not using hiking boots in those parks. I bought a 2nd pair for wearing around the house. I have a toe injury that benefits from the stability of the sole of these shoes. Yet they are very comfortable!

Janet, This is my first time to try Cascadia , I usually wear Hoka Speedgoat and it is the number one best shoes for me, Cascadia is a great shoe, my feet feel very grounded and the cushion is very comfort, the only issue is the shoes is a little long on the front and running on the trail will have a little tiny sand /soil went into the shoes.

I gave up on the Cascadia years ago as I felt they did not provide enough cushion. I usually wear Hoka Speedgoat, but decided to give these a try after seeing a picture of them. POW! What a great shoe! I couldn't find the heel/toe drop spec on this trail runner, but it feels like it is 4mm or less, which I strive for. My feet feel very grounded. I find these to fit my feet like a glove. The cushioning is superb throughout the entire length of the shoe. I hope to continue to be able to buy these in the future! I usually wear a 9 in Brooks, but I took an 8.5 in this model. 9 was too long.

The most comfortable shoe ever. The toe box is nice and wide which is very important to me.

Last time I tried the Cascadia model it was not very cushiony at all considering it was a trail running shoe. It was akin to running on a board. That was a few years ago. This shoe is a major improvement. Cushioning goes from toes to heel and is well balanced. Foot feels grounded. I usually wear a 9 in Brooks, but this shoe I had to go with an 8.5 as 9 was too long. Highly recommend! I use these for running and light hiking. Works for both.

I ran the Rim to Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon in these (wide size) and had no blisters, perfect for rugged trail and long distances. These are sturdy and a little bulkier than some trail shoes and I?d recommend you use them for longer rugged races or runs. Love them to death!
