I?m pretty sad about these new Brooks. I?ve been a Ghost shoe lover ever since I got into running/walking and have even switched a few of my friends over from other brands. I?ve also always wanted black and bright yellowish green sneakers and was excited to get them for Christmas (my husband and I decided to only do one gift this year, we each got a new pair of running shoes, mine being the Brooks Ghost 14). I?m not sure what happened to the Ghosts this time, but where?s the cushioning I?ve always loved? I broke ametatarsal in my right food a few years ago and that area needs padding, something I could leave count on with my Ghosts?until now. I wore them once and it felt like a shoe that I?d already worn out. Hated the new laces too. Yeah it?s a small thing, but I tie my shoes a certain way for races and the old laces were perfect. Pretty bummed out that I have to return my Christmas gift. Brooks..please stop trying to fix what isn?t broken, we loved them the way they were.

I have purchased about 6 Brooks running shoes over the years and have always loved each pair. This pair is different. It is obvious that Brooks quality has diminished. The shoelaces are horribly cheap. Nothing like the rounded shoelaces that always came with each pair of Brooks. The overall quality of the sneaker is cheaper. Have you changed manufacturers and/or materials. I would like Brooks to send me better shoelaces for sure. And to go back to the better quality materials.

I have been using the Ghost 13 for my runs and LOVED the fit. It was great for my plantar fasciitis. However, I recently tried the Ghost 14 and did not like the fit. The neutral sole hurt my feet and did not give the support I was looking for. I am hoping Brooks will readjust the sole for the Ghost 15 so I can continue using this shoe for my runs.

Sadly, these have declined in quality. I used to love my ghost and still have many previous versions in various stages of decline, but the 11s wore out too soon (the fabric on the side of the toe box ripped). These ghost 14 are SO cute! I love the look, but the feel is just different and wrong. The heel is not as cushioned under the foot. The entire footbed seems to have less cushion and give. It?s sad that I?ll need to look elsewhere after all these years in brooks.

I have purchased ghosts for at least 2 years now. They started out great for me, as I was looking for a good shoe to wear to work. As I'm on my feet all day at work, and walking on hard cement floors. The last couple releases though I feel the support, and cushion has decreased. The latest edition is the worst though, and the toe box is tighter and smaller. Please bring back the brooks I love.

Toebox was too narrow. I like Ghost 13's fit better. I even got them in wide. Bummer they had to be sent back. I hope this review helps.

I had a Ghost 13 size 6 which fit me perfectly in length and width (due to small bunions). This Ghost 14 is a narrower width and was an entire inch too long in the toebox in comparison to the 13. I would get the 5.5 Wide but it's out of stock, and most shoes don't ever have wide in small sizes which is frustrating. I was really hoping I could ignore the other reviews but have to agree that the Ghost 14 is a terrible fit. After being able to count on Ghost shoes 11-13, now I have to go through the hassle of finding a different running shoe.

I LOVE the Ghost's and always have. Been loyal since maybe the 7 or 8. But these 14's are awful. I thought it was just me or in my head but others I run with are saying the same thing. I messed up my knee and now I am not sure if it was partially the shoe or not. Considering swapping shoes or brands they are so bad.

I have worn ghosts for 3 years now and have not gone back to another shoe. But these are honestly just not the ghosts I remember. The toe box is way smaller and the shoe is so much taller. Overall, they really just are too narrow and not very comfortable. As a runner who has recurring foot injuries, it's super disappointing that I'm going to have to return the shoes that have kept me injury free for the past few years. I wish companies would stop changing their shoes :(

Really bummed? been wearing brooks for years now. Only thing that?s helped me survive a 12 hr shift as a nurse with plantar fasciitis. These pair have left me with more pain, specifically my heels then ever before. I tried to wait it out thinking I need to adjust but nope. A month later the pain continues after work and goes away when I?m on breaks not wearing them.

These shoes are not as comfortable as they have claimed to be. Other reviews are right, they are uncomfortable at the top, the laces pinch. and they don't support my feet. If you have underprotonated feet, these don't do anything.

I have foot and ankle issues because of previous injuries, so I only buy Brooks Ghost shoes. They fit so well and I don?t have to worry about my ankle twisting . I have Ghosts in all colors and from 10 - 13. These are my first Ghost 14 and maybe my last. I wear a size 9 medium width. I have never had issues with fit, wear lightweight socks and no problems. These shoes ?feel like a half size too big, the width feels off too. To be sure, I tried on my newest pair of 13 on left foot and 14 on right foot ..yep definitely not the same. Even with heavier socks, fit is off.. Hope it is just a fluke?because these shoes are the only ones that don?t make my feet hurt and still have good grounding .

I order a new pair of Ghosts every six months - whatever the current series is, have done this for over ten years. They've never let me down. I can always tell when it's time to order a new pair because my shins will start hurting on runs. Well this time, after just a run or two in the new 14s, my shins still hurt AND my calves started hurting (which was new). Please don't copy/paste your traditional response, it's not genuine, and it's too late to return them (and I don't want another Ghost 14 anyway). Just please do what all the other reviews say - quit messing up what WAS a good thing. Not sure what shoe I'll switch to now, but it might not be Brooks, and that makes me sad. :-(
