My physician has told me to get wider shoes, which means a D width. I love Brooks shoes, but the pair I had recently, which was aB width was too narrow. My feet have spread out, and wearing a more narrow width is painful. The D width in Brooks does not seem wide enough. I’m not a runner, so I don’t need running shoes. However, I would like a light-weight shoe in a wider width. What shoe comes in a wider width thanD? My physician recommended New Balance and ASICS. I will be returning my Brooks Ghost 14 in size 9D. I will contact Zappos later about trying either New Balance or ASICS. I don’t want to down-rate the Brooks shoe because it does not fit me properly. The problem is more with my feet than with the shoe.

I have worn Brooks Ghost brand shoes for 5 years. I never shop for a new show, I just buy a new pair. However, I will have to say this last pair is not as usual. The foot bed is not as comfortable and I am having some right foot pain that seems aggravated after wearing these shoes. Maybe coincidence. I think I might try a different brand though.

They are not what I expected on the inside. For the price I expected more comfort.

Not comfortable the first couple times of wear. Now they are ok but not my primary go to for rehab of an ankle fracture and plantar fasciitis.

Not as supportive as the previous ghost generations. Disappointed since I loved my 12 & 13 version.

I'm not sure this is the right shoe for me. I use them for work, so mostly walking and comfort. I have worn them three days so far this week and am having some pain in the heel and along the outer area of the right foot. If I need to call to speak to someone, I'm glad to do that. Thank you.

The fit is good, however, I prefer the Ghost 13. The 14 seems to have a narrower toe box and less heel cushioning.

Don?t know what you did to the 14?s but they are different than the 12 ?s. They narrower. I always get a wide width.

I have been wearing Ghosts for several years now. They are getting more and more narrow in the toe box unfortunately. I don't know why they have to change them. I almost returned these and might still. I am not enjoying feeling like I can't wait to get them off after a long walk or run. They are stretching a bit now.

Runs small. Not enough arch support. Like the breathable material on the shoe.

I loved the Ghost 13 and was excited to try the Ghost 14. I bought the same size but when I tried them on the Ghost 14 were to big. I compared my ghost 13 sneaker with new 14 and the Ghost 14 were noticeably bigger. I ended up returning them .

it could use a little more cushion on the middle sole.

The wide is not as wide as previous models.
