I have had other Ghosts models prior to this purchase. The all have been good shoes. These seem to fit a little tighter, which I believe is because of the gortex material. I do wish I purchased another pair of the Glycerin Stealth that I have been running in prior to this purchase.

I really like the gortex feature and the shoe on the whole. I had a lot of heel slip on this shoe and the laces were not long enough to cinch them in a way to help, although I don't believe that it would have solved it. My previous ghost did not have heel slip. Thanks.

Shoe is fine. Shoelaces are too short. Having to buy another pair.

Worst Brooks shoes I have owned! Laces barely long enough to be tied and come undone. My go to is Glycerin but wanted gtx. Huge downgrade!

I only buy brooks and these were the worst I have bought. Not comfortable at all. Ghost are usually my favorite.

Really wanted to like these. They look great and are lightweight, but very stiff. Left my foot injured :( additionally I found the waterproofing was mediocre at best and not very breathable.

So disappointed with Brooks for going cheap on what I thought was a top-class running shoe. These have a basic foam block for a midsole which does not cushion appropriately, and water does get in after a while. I owned a pair of the Ghost 10 GTX that were absolutely the best shoe ever. Those had a well-engineered midsole with varied densities of foam, and they never leaked; even when coaching for hours in major downpours.

I returned the ghosts and ordered another pair of adrenaline's. The last on the Ghosts positioned my got in such fashion that my one of my toes was getting a bone bruise. Great customer service from Brooks! They have a customer for life.

I run in the Glycerin & love them. Ordered the Ghost 14 because they are waterproof. I wear a size 13 the they were very tight, both length & width. Sent them back & ordered a size 14, they were the Ghost 15 & are too large. Ran in them yesterday & like the ride, Do you think the Ghost 15 in size 13 would fit better than the Ghost 14?

Other Ghost shoes Size 12 fit me nicely. These are too tight and uncomfortable.

I have trouble with the ghost shoes they felt too tight around my toes I like the launch 9 shoe much better it has a better feel I try to order that shoe but it look like there was no discount.

I bought 5 pairs of the ghost 14 and had been extremely pleased especially with the camouflage black and white. I bought this pair with the hopes it would be even better but unfortunately they are very hard, do not breathe well and overall very stiff in all the wrong places. Only pro so far is the outside seems better at taking hits without tearing up the cloth

Not a lot of support. Just walking the dog, this shoe was quite uncomfortable after a while. I gave them to a friend who has little to no arches, and he found them comfortable for walking, but not running.

They run smaller then other versions, they are very snug.

The waterproofing was the main seller but due too the Gor-Tex waterproofing layer to the shoe it makes it much narrower. I always wear a regular 11.5 but if your buying maybe go up a half size from what you usually get. The look and style is awesome, I have been buying Brooks for years I always get the Regular Ghost or Adrenaline but may have to return these ones and maybe get a bigger size or new shoe entirely.

expected these to be like the ghost 14s (which i love!) except that they would be water proof. Not exactly. Doesn't have the same cushion as regular ghost 14s. Had to put insoles in to make up for lack of cushion. would not buy again

First off, I never review any products online, but the laces on this particular shoe have caused me so much frustration that I was motivated to create this review. Secondly, I've OWNED and LOVED the prior series of Ghost...I owned 3 of the prior series and had no issues--I thought I would purchase this series until its discontinuation... The laces on these shoes comes loose/untied EVERYDAY. I have to re-tie my shoes (with a double knot) 1 or 2 times on a hourlong walk...Either I no longer know how to tie shoes, or there is something significantly flawed with the lacing materials...Upon reading the other reviews here, I guess I will try a different lace. The durability of this particular set of shoes is not lasting as long as previous series. My usage hasn't changed, but I feel that the durability of this shoe is about 1/2 as long lasting as the prior Ghost series that I've owned. At about 3 months into owning these (at aprox 20mi/week), I'm seeing significant wear on the outsole...Not sure if that is within acceptable wear tolerance or not... Shoe is comfortable; I like the fit, but my feet run on the narrow side. Shoe is waterproof. I understand with the Economy, that is is difficult to procure materials (that are cost effective) to build products...it feels to me like the materials used in this Ghost series are not the same as was used in prior series. Maybe I'm completely wrong, and the laces issue has clouded my judgement of this shoe...Not sure if I will purchase from Brooks going forward...

Similar to other reviewers this shoe is not waterproof after several months. It's either defective or not truly a Gore-Tex shoe. It's almost as if it comes with a spray on repellent coating. Once it wears off your feet are all wet. I actually tested this with my second pair. Right out of the box I could pour water over the mesh and it would run off. The older ones with no tears or abrasions whatsoever, the water would soak right through. ??? False advertising? I held out hope that the second pair would live up to its waterproof claim. That maybe the first shoe was defective. But no such luck.

I love Brooks shoes and I?ve had multiple pairs over the last 30 years. I had the ghost GTX 8 and used it for a long time and it kept my feet dry for years of winter/ rainy weather running. However , I recently bought the Ghost GTX for my wife and I and they both are not waterproof after several months. I believe the Gortex in the upper becomes detached at the seam with the sole. I?m sure Brooks can correct this in future models. This has been mentioned in several reviews. Thanks

Like the shoe. I was very dissapointed in customer service from Brooks. Also felt ripped off. I got a coupon but couldn't use it for shoes. The whole experience just makes the shoes not as good.
