Pros: Keeps feet dry. Keeps feet warm in chilly temps. Looks good. Cons: Feels a little clunky compared to regular Ghosts. A liveable trade off when chasing puddles in chilly weather. Biggest grip are shoelaces. The laces can easily become loose and untie, which is the last thing we want when running or walking. Brooks, kindly review lace material.

Good shoe long time brooks runner, no complaints

These were beautiful, but they were a little tight across the top of my foot. That did relax over time.

Good shoes, bad laces. Flat laces come undone too often.

I actually dont run anymore because of my knee problems , but i walk in them all day and i dont hurt . They are the most confortable shoe I've worn in years

I've used ghosts before and always size 11. It's a great show. I tried this and couldn't get the 11 on my foot comfortably. Never was able to try them out so I returned them

They are a great shoe. Lots of cushioning but a little tight in the toes.

I ended up returning it and buying a different color Brooks 14 Ghost. It was a gift and the recipient preferred a different pair

Laces a little short they come loose when running several times. Put tried to put a double knot laces to short. Shoe size good for me a little more heal cushion other wise great shoe.

Fit, feel and comfort of the shoe is great, but the shoelaces.UGH! They are tough to double tie because they are too short.

It's a very comfortable shoe but the design isn't quite as good as the ghost 15 and runs a 1/2 size smaller. The ghost 15 also only has a few color ways that are moderately fashionable to a sneaker head. I own about 50 different pairs of sneakers Nike, Jordan, OC, Adidas and brooks ghost 15 followed by the 14 are the most comfortable I've owned but they are lacking a bit in the fashion department. I do prefer when the base colorway of the sneaker and the soles match such as the bright green ghost 15 or the grey ones. Overall I just think brooks could do with a more fashionable design to push them out of only "runner specific shoe" or "work on your feet all day shoe". OC has been able to walk the line quite well in this regard and if brooks could do that I think I would purchase more of them along with many other people.

Ghost14GTX cured my chronic foot pain. I don't run, but I walk 15 miles per day at work.

Excellent water proof shoe for walking in wet grass doing irrigation system maintenance. Super comfortable. The laces could be a couple inches longer and a finger loop on the heel would help with putting them on.

A little tight, but the weather proofing works really well, good for the recent rains in California

The first pair of Ghost 14 GTX shoes I got were supremely comfortable and were used for my daily walks. After a couple of years and lots of miles, I got a new pair of the same model, but they were not as comfortable as the first pair. They fit fine, the upper part is waterproof in the wet Northwest weather, but the sole seems not as flexible and not as cushy as the first pair. Have the materials used changed?

need to double knot for laces to stay tied.

Great shoes for Seattle winters but laces are terrible. I walk about 90 minutes outdoors daily. My feet are dry and comfortable, but I have to stop every other block to tie my shoes again. The laces are short, so double knotting is not an option. I have 2 other pair of Brooks shoes, neither had this issue.

Fantastic shoe. Fits great. Feels great. Very comfortable. Keeps feet dry. BUT the SHOE LACES ARE HORRIBLE. They will not stayed tied! My guess is the slick waterproof material Brooks is using to repel water is making them come untied. I have to double knot them.
