Honestly love the shoe. The shoe laces are an issue for me. I saw that was an issue in earlier reviews and chose to take the risk. Still love the shoe but the the fact that the laces are short and bulky and won?t stay tied makes me think the price point should be lower.

They were waterproof for sure and were super comfortable. The durability of the tip toe out sole was starting to peel off. Brooks stepped up ?

These seem to have a slightly tighter feel and I have to double knot the shoelaces as they fail to stay tied based on their material.

I've had 2 pairs of the standard Ghost 14s but this the first time trying the GTX version. The comfort is the same, the feel , the quality, it's all just as good as the regular Ghost 14s but better because of the Gore-Tex material. Having that extra piece of mind that my feet will be dry when I'm out and about is great.

The shoe fit little tight but the Hoka has better arch padding

I got these for the gortex feature and they do the job nicely. If you?re a woman with wide feet, like me, the guys shoe accommodates the wide problem we?ll. The laces, however, aren?t long enough to tie a good bow.

Shoes are comfortable and warm. However one annoying thing is that the laces keep untying as you walk.

Very form fitted which is great but the heel cushion is quite hard and uncomfortable.

Love the feel and cushioning. The gore tex makes it great for puddle jumping this time of year keeping my feet dry.

Good fit for my D width foot. Don't care for the tongue which irritates the front of my ankle for about a minute when I first start my run.

Would have been perfect if it were in a wide and sadly I had to return them

Another very nice Brooks shoe, but they seem to run small. I've been a Brooks size 10 fan for years, but with this one in a 10 I cannot wear socks. I can only assume that this model is built upon the same last as all other Brooks shoes, and adding the Gore-Tex simply reduces the available interior space.

Not as comfortable as my previous shoes with Brooks. Maybe they just need to be broken in.

It's been a month and half and so far the shoes seem good except for the horrible laces. They won't stay tied, their main job, mindbogglingly bad. I go for a 25-minute walk/hike, not difficult terrain, and the laces come undone on average about three times. I can't recall experiencing anything like this my 3+ decades of successful shoe tying. I'll have to replace them (the laces).
About a decade ago I bought the Brooks Beast, the best pair of shoes I've ever had. I only use them for indoor exercise and have never had a problem with the laces (they are of a different kind/material), still nearly good as new. I don't understand how Brooks can put out a product like this.

The Ghost 14 GTX is what an outdoor runner's or walker's dream is built on. As you glide through fields of green waiting for these shoes, the demon finally appears. Whilst the shoe looks great and the quality is great, the fit is a nightmare. It doesn't fit close to a D sized shoe, it's horrifically narrow. My dreams of the perfect all weather shoe was invaded by the monster that is Brooks' refusal to make these in a 2E version. Runners do have wide feettreat them like humans and make us a shoe that fits! Basically it runs narrow and is not available in wide sizes. Sad!
