I'm sure they are good shoes. Just to narrow for me. So I didn't take a step they we to tight. Thank you for letting me try them. I did order a different pair.

I was so disappointed these shoes didn't work for me, they are obviously very well made. Hard soles, very inflexible, my feet hurt from just walking around the house. My very sensitive diabetic feet need a softer sole and some flexibility.

Something about the design of this show reduces the actual size by about a full size from the conventional Brooks running shoe. Be careful when ordering!

I don't run that much anymore, but with flat feet and several leg injuries, I always look for a good supportive running shoe as my daily shoe. I've used Brooks's Adrenaline in the past but the Addiction seemed to be a better fit, so I tried it out. Unfortunately, that didn't pan out and I'll have to go back to the Adrenaline (which hopefully is still good) do to the support built in to the heel of the shoe being so over supportive as to induce a lot of pain during use. My first impressions were positive. It felt a bit weird that the toes had so much extra room (vertically) compared to the very snug fit on the heel, which was noticeable when taking steps. However, while an unfamiliar feeling when walking, it didn't seem to be an actual issue and I quickly adjusted to it. There was some discomfort along the arch, but nothing that made me think there was a problem, just a need to break-in the shoes. This remained the case with some small improvements to comfort as I wore the shoes around my home the first afternoon with them (doing chores and lounging). During the next couple of days, I wore them during a couple short walks of ~10 minutes each as well as during a weekly trip for groceries. As far as standard support for flat feet, this appears to be a very decent shoe (which is why this review is not 1 star). Unfortunately, the shoes became a problem when I ran some lengthier errands a couple days later, becoming so painful that I'm now returning the shoes. This occurred when I had to drive approximately 30 min to a particular store. On previous, short drives, I hadn't noticed anything, but the longer drive really allowed the pressure at the back of my ankle (to the side of my Achilles) to build up and become noticeable. This was on my right foot, and definitely related to the position necessary for using the pedals (I could not find any comfortable position that allowed me to effectively drive). While I couldn't quickly replicate this in the left foot and I definitely now notice the bit of built in heel support on both shoes. Before getting back on the road for the return trip, I tried re-lacing the shoes in the parking lot. However, this didn't work and the pain came back immediately quickly. It was so painful at this point that I had to take off the shoe before continuing the half hour drive back home. Due to the shear amount of pain, I this shoe can't act as my daily shoe (which I was hoping for) without experimenting with breaking the heal. Back when I was running competitively, I was a middle distance sprinter, and we used shoes like the Addiction for training when not using spikes. Since the pointing done during driving is similar to the foot orientation during sprinting (though that tends to a turn in while driving is more of a turn out), I would caution sprinters who are considering the Addiction, as well.

Not enough cushion. Too stiff. Size runs a bit small. Seems like good construction. Might try some inserts.

Not a happy camper. My feet feel like they're stepping on stones, lumps. Couple of hours in these addictions 15 and my feet are aching to get out. Should've stayed with the Ghost series.

I ordered these because I really enjoyed the Ghost 16 and thought that a shoe more designed for my foot would actually be better. Boy was I wrong. I'm not sure what is different but I am not a fan of this shoe. It actually hurts to run in these. Can I return them for another pair of the Ghosts I previously ordered?

I have worn Brooks for years, but i noticed they have changed with the last 2 pairs i have bought. The inside of the shoe in the rear where the heal rides used to have a different material in the center, now the cushioning is just like the rest of the shoe on the sides and I have worn through them very quickly. all of my old pairs had the different material in the center of the rear of the shoe and I have never wore that part out before.

I had used brooks for many years and are great shoes. After 2 or 3 months of using this model, I noticed pain on my right foot, couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I decided to change shoes, new ones, and after 2 uses the pain went away. It seemed that the sole of the Brooks was pushing my foot to the right side(maybe manufacturing defect) and misaligning it. Called Zappos to inform them, but since I had used them nothing could be done.

This review comes at the end of a short working life, less than a year and roughly 400 street miles. These Addiction GTS 15s replaced the Addiction Walker (black), which had been discontinued, which replaced the Addiction Walker (brown nubuck), which had no longer been available. Both of the Addiction Walkers lasted about three times as long as the GTS and are actually still usable. The Addiction GTS 15s still look fine, and the soles do not appear particularly worn. But the shoes have lost their internal structure and no longer offer good support. I'm not large (155 pounds), but have stiff ankles and do test a shoe's internals.

I own 2 pairs of Brooks Adrenaline size 10W and they are perfect as have been previous Brooks running shoes. I decided for my trip to England to get these Brooks GTS 15 (very similar to the Adrenaline) in a 9.5 Medium (D), smaller size because they weren't going to be running shoes but just for comfortable walking around London. They are huge! They are half size smaller and not a wide and they are so big that I wonder if I didn't get a mens size. Anywho, they are being returned. Thank you Zappos for allowing returns free of charge.

Run small compared to Nike or New Balance. Normally a 11 4E in Nike and 10.5 4E in New Balance. Ordered these in 11 from Brooks and my big toe was right at the front of the shoe. Returned and trying 11.5 4E

Initially, they felt pretty good. But, I tried walking around in them for 10 minutes and they started to hurt my feet in ways that new shoes do not usually hurt my feet. There was something about the angles and slighter higher shoe sides near the back that made one of my feet cramp. Could work for others, but not me, not even in a wide.

These shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I ever bought in my life, the heel back cushion is approximately 3/4 inch thick so if you do decide to buy these which I hope you won't you will have to buy a 1/2 inch size larger, not a good shoe if you are wanting comfort. The toe box area had some rough material inside that rubbed on my toes. Had to return.

I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. I know Brooks makes an excellent product and these shoes are very uncomfortable. I’m trying to break them in but they don’t seem to be getting any better. They do look good however.
