The fit was very good (I have a very long, narrow foot) but the material was very stiff, which made the shoe less than comfortable.

I am 6', 230# and do not run, but walk several miles a day. I seldom use these shoes for other than the exercise walking. I have been wearing Broroks since I started out with Chariots many years ago. I still have three pairs of Beast 14 that are well-worn, but still usable. Those (my favorites) are my "standard" for all subsequent shoes, none of which (including these reviewed here) have come close. I tried the Beast GTS 23, but they pinched across the bridge of my foot. These Brooks Addiction GTS 15's are reasonably comfortable and supportive while providing sufficient control for my very flat and over-pronating feet. HOWEVER, they are NOT as comfortable or supportive as the Beast 14's. My major gripe with these is with the laces/ eyelet system. Not only are the laces a bit short, but loosening the laces to put on (or take off) the shoes, and then tightening again to walk is not easy, and thus a nuisance. The contrast in this regard with the Beast 14 is remarkable. Not quite sure why, the the lace/ eyelet system in the Beast 14 seems to work much more easily. I think it is down to the quality of the laces and the construction of the eyelets (which seem a little larger in the Beast 14). I've attached comparative side-by-side photos which MIGHT be helpful. Size-wise, these fit about the same as all the 'running' shoes I've bought. My 'normal' shoe size is 14, but for 'running' shoes I need to size up to 15. The width seems about right (without sizing up).

The shoes are 13 Narrow, but my toes touched the end of the shoes, so I feel they run short. Size 13 in other shoes almost always allows enough length. They felt slightly wider than would be a good fit for my feet.

Have ordered these same sneakers and size for the last 4 years. This pair is tighter than the others; also squeaks (after close to 2 weeks now).

For a 4E width, the toe box was way too narrow. Bummer.

Show is fine. What I expected. What I didn’t expect to find is that they had been worn and the insides had both human hair and animal fur. Yuk!!

I had been used to fairly good cushioning in all my previous Brooks shoes. These, on the other hand, were quite hard and felt a bit cheap.

the mesh construction is not supportive enough

I purchased the GTS 22 at the same time and my husband like the LOOK of those on better. He didnt like the "rounded" look of the sole.

The Brooks Addiction GTS 15 (size 14 Narrow) is an experiment. I have been wearing the New Balance 1540 for a long time. First impression. The Addiction is much lighter in weight than the 1540. It fits my foot very well, with plenty of room for my orthotics. It fits like a glove, firm without being too tight, so first impression is good. Due to the light weight the question is does the Addiction have enough cushion and support for me. I would have preferred to try the Brooks Beast but they have decided not to offer it in my narrow width.

These shoes felt tight around the heel, and were also very heavy. They were returned.

I ran in Brooks Addictions for decades but something happened over the last few years. I developed painful bunions that seemed to be aggravated by the shoes, the soles of my feet were chronically sore and I increasingly felt that the shoes were hard, harsh on my feet. It may be changes in the way the shoe was made or my advancing age (over 65). But I found other options (Asics Kayano Gel) to be clearly easier on my feet, so I am returning the last pair of Addictions I had unused in my closet and I'm moving on.

This shoe is heavy and feels tight and constricting on the sides. It was returned.

Shoes make very loud squeaking noises! Not the first pair in my size that have done this. Returned the last pair. Cannot go to a shoe store and try other shoes on. Have a narrow size 15. Guess I'm stuck.
