Not a durable shoe, by comparison to the “Beast”, also by Brooks. Shoe is completely worn out from less than every day wear and tear.

I ordered the Addiction as an alternative to the Adrenaline that I have worn for several years and iterations. I ordered the same size/width but this shoe feels smaller, more narrow, and is not comfortable.

I wished these fit better. I liked the style and look but when trying on, immediately felt my 3 middle toes pressed up against the front of the sneakers. I wear size 12 EE. I bought same exact size competitor sneaker and no issues with them as far as size. Needless to say, these are getting returned and I am keeping the other ones. Also, waiting for the release of the new Beasts hopefully soon. Hopefully they fit better on me than these Addictions.

Good in general but just a couple weeks after buying them I nearly fell on gently sloping asphalt at public university that was barely wet. My feet started to go out from under me without warning and I barely caught myself before falling backward. This is the first shoe I can remember that happening. Must ave something to do with very tight tread pattern. I lost my trust in them and am returning them.

Style is meh and run small so if you’re a true 12 2E get a 12.5 4E. Unfortunately the size up wasn’t in stock but if it was I think they’d feel fuego

Toe box was nice and wide; but, sole was a bit stiff; I prefer more cushioning.

I wear an 8.5 to 9 in regular width. These were a bit too long and wide.

The rubber sole on this shoe is hard, hard, hard. Hurts my back and knees to use them on the treadmill or long walks. I have 2 pair of Ghost and a pair of Adrenaline and all have much better bottoms. I retired a pair of Addiction Walk and they were great. I do not recommend the
Addiction GTS 15.

Just recently began wearing these. Right shoe fine. Left shoe back of heel felt like it was coming off. Put them back to back and saw that back of left shoe 1/4 inch lower than right. Not comfortable.

Nice shoe. Well built. Good looking. However, too big for me and just didn't fit quite right. In the end, they were returned.

From past Brooks running shoes that I have worn, this one is overly rigid and inflexible. Not good for me. Good support on the sides but very hard on the bottom

This show feels small. I ordered my normal size , 11.5 B, but my toes touched the front of the show and it felt like an A width.

I'm sure they are good shoes. Just to narrow for me. So I didn't take a step they we to tight. Thank you for letting me try them. I did order a different pair.

I was so disappointed these shoes didn't work for me, they are obviously very well made. Hard soles, very inflexible, my feet hurt from just walking around the house. My very sensitive diabetic feet need a softer sole and some flexibility.

Something about the design of this show reduces the actual size by about a full size from the conventional Brooks running shoe. Be careful when ordering!

I don't run that much anymore, but with flat feet and several leg injuries, I always look for a good supportive running shoe as my daily shoe. I've used Brooks's Adrenaline in the past but the Addiction seemed to be a better fit, so I tried it out. Unfortunately, that didn't pan out and I'll have to go back to the Adrenaline (which hopefully is still good) do to the support built in to the heel of the shoe being so over supportive as to induce a lot of pain during use.
My first impressions were positive. It felt a bit weird that the toes had so much extra room (vertically) compared to the very snug fit on the heel, which was noticeable when taking steps. However, while an unfamiliar feeling when walking, it didn't seem to be an actual issue and I quickly adjusted to it. There was some discomfort along the arch, but nothing that made me think there was a problem, just a need to break-in the shoes. This remained the case with some small improvements to comfort as I wore the shoes around my home the first afternoon with them (doing chores and lounging). During the next couple of days, I wore them during a couple short walks of ~10 minutes each as well as during a weekly trip for groceries. As far as standard support for flat feet, this appears to be a very decent shoe (which is why this review is not 1 star).
Unfortunately, the shoes became a problem when I ran some lengthier errands a couple days later, becoming so painful that I'm now returning the shoes. This occurred when I had to drive approximately 30 min to a particular store. On previous, short drives, I hadn't noticed anything, but the longer drive really allowed the pressure at the back of my ankle (to the side of my Achilles) to build up and become noticeable. This was on my right foot, and definitely related to the position necessary for using the pedals (I could not find any comfortable position that allowed me to effectively drive). While I couldn't quickly replicate this in the left foot and I definitely now notice the bit of built in heel support on both shoes. Before getting back on the road for the return trip, I tried re-lacing the shoes in the parking lot. However, this didn't work and the pain came back immediately quickly. It was so painful at this point that I had to take off the shoe before continuing the half hour drive back home.
Due to the shear amount of pain, I this shoe can't act as my daily shoe (which I was hoping for) without experimenting with breaking the heal. Back when I was running competitively, I was a middle distance sprinter, and we used shoes like the Addiction for training when not using spikes. Since the pointing done during driving is similar to the foot orientation during sprinting (though that tends to a turn in while driving is more of a turn out), I would caution sprinters who are considering the Addiction, as well.

Not enough cushion. Too stiff. Size runs a bit small.
Seems like good construction. Might try some inserts.

Not a happy camper. My feet feel like they're stepping on stones, lumps. Couple of hours in these addictions 15 and my feet are aching to get out. Should've stayed with the Ghost series.

I ordered these because I really enjoyed the Ghost 16 and thought that a shoe more designed for my foot would actually be better. Boy was I wrong. I'm not sure what is different but I am not a fan of this shoe. It actually hurts to run in these. Can I return them for another pair of the Ghosts I previously ordered?
