Bought these about 5 months ago and had really high hopes for these shoes! The are really nice looking and initially they felt great. However, on different occasions and after about 1 to 2 hours of walking around in them my feet ache! This might not be an issue with the shoe as much as it is with my feet but I felt it important to point this out for others like me. If you have issues with your feet such as I do, these are not good. They are too "stiff" and do not provide enough cushion. To put it simply, they are uncomfortable. I am going to look for a different Hoka shoe that has neutral stability and plush cushion such as the Bondi series shoes that I have used in the past and are great!

I like the shoe but had some stitching come apart within a week. These shoes are too expensive to be this cheaply made.

I cannot wear a size 14; not enough room. Moved up to the 15 which is too large and wide and my heel slips around. It may be the model shoes though, as I have worn size 15 before. Frustrating. I like Hoka and this shoe is great from a quality standpoint. I am just having a problem finding the correct model and fit.

Seems durable but not up to HOKA comfort standards.

The insoles were some of the worst I've ever felt under my feet...like when I forget to put the insoles in my current shoes. Feet tire after 6+ miles without an aftermarket insole.

I love the comfort level of the boot. However, they were not available in wide sizes. So the shoe fits tight on my fat feet. They are also not the most stable platform. My last complaintbis that my feet do not breathe in these boots, and they get stinky after a long day on.my feet

I'm usually a 13 wide but since they didn't offer a wide in this model I bought the regular hoping they had fixed the too narrow problem. I was wrong. They are very painful behind the little toe. Also, these are longer than the last pair I bought. Not the hiking shoe for me. I'd return but I trashed the box. Oh well.

I have had several pairs of Hoka running shoes sized 10D and all fit perfectly. This shoe is extremely stiff and runs small compared to Hoka running shoes

I really liked the Anacapa but it hurt my little toe. I looked for a wide to exchange but it is not offered in wide width
If you ever offer this shoe in wide, I'd order in a minute!

I use these shoes for all purposes, mostly I wear them for fun and play. They are very comfortable and fit perfect. The only complaint I have is that I have only had them for 3 months and one of the lugs on the tread is starting to separate from the shoe. I am afraid they will start coming apart more as I continue to wear them.
I have recommended these to many friends but I am going to put that I wouldn't recommend them in my review because of this happening now

I bought these in January because I was afraid the color I wanted would sell out. There was still snow on the ground so I didn't wear them until 3 weeks ago. All my other Hoka's are perfect in every way, I've even got my husband wearing them. I work in a factory running a press for 8 hours a day, so it's standing all day. The Hoka boots I have (Anacapa and Tor Ultra High) have wide toe boxes and feel as great at 8 hours as when I walk into work. The Kahn's also have a wide toe box. This pair of Anacapa low GTX feels very narrow. I can make it 4 hours and I have to change shoes. I tried putting a pair of gel insoles in and that didn't help. It's too late to return them now, I've worn them twice. Just be aware that thees are not as wide.

Once I got these they looked cheaply made. Once I put them on they felt cheap and uncomfortable. There was a plastic popping noise from walking. It came from when my toes vent from walking. Super annoying. Walked around the house for a while and just didn't like them.

Love the color and design but too narrow, unfortunately Hoka is not making wide in this design. Ended up returning the product.

I bought the shoes for my husband. He does like them. But why put that bright orange tap on the back of the shoe. It sticks out of his pants and looks obnoxious.

My other holds ( which I love) had more of a cushion insole, these are more stiff and make a great hiking shoe, not exactly what I was expecting, hard to buy online sometimes

I wear Hokas (mostly Gaviota) every day for support and, especially comfort. The Anacapas just don't provide the same level of comfort.

The shoes look really great. The fit is slightly on the large size, but the big disappointment is the sound that the material makes when walking, may have to put these in the back of the closet or donate them

I just sent back the third consecutive pair of different styles of Hoka shoes because they were all too wide. I have now two different styles of shoes, all marked as size 10. I Need a water resistant pair for our (hopefully) winter rainy season. These last three attempts were size 10 on the website, but were marked as 10D.

Tried the 14 but usually take a 14EE. Hoka does not make enough wide shoes in reasonable colors. Not wide enough. Probably a great shoe, so if you don't have a wide foot, give them a try.
Return was easy as we have a local store that is a Hoka Hub and I was able to just drop them off.

Great things first- it's a hoka, so it super comfortable. It runs a little big - at least for me. I have bought and worn 30+ pairs of size 12 Hoka's and these were definitely bigger. It is a good hiker if you are on soft dirt or easy trails. I took them to big bend and it is not a great hiker for thorny trails or sharp rocks. I incorrectly assumed the sole the Hoka foam with a tougher bottom, but it is not- mostly just a standard Hoka bottom. I will use them on trail walks (with an I sole due to size) but can consider them serious hiking shoes or boots.
