well made fit good and look good

The shoes are comfortable, the fit is fine, it was a long wait to finally receive them but it was worth the wait.

I bought, and fell in love, with Hoka walking shoes. But they didn't have the tread necessary for steep trail walking....so I bought a pair of Anacapa. They do give the necessary tread to grip the steep sections. But the fit (for me) was less than perfect and didn't have the cushion that I liked so much with the walking shoe. Note: This is a personal preference and other folks may have a totally different experience.

I really needed this in a wide size

This shoe is really stylish and comfortable. The only problem is it fit a little too big. However, with thick socks and the laces tightened, it's manageable. Inserts may further help as well. After a test run on a two mile hike I had no pain or discomfort so I can overall say I am pleased.

I like the shoe but wish I had returned them for a half size smaller. I ordered the same size as my Speed Goats.

I really want to like these shoes and wear them a lot hiking and walking. After wearing them a few weeks, I opted to wear my Hoka One Ones on a long trip. The toe box is a little tight on my little toes, and the top of the toe box rubs on the tops of my toes. I hope with time things will loosen up.

Shoe box is great but the shoe narrows significantly near the back of the toe box. I have a high instep and this isn't the best shoe for it. I am hoping AZ it breaks in the fit will get better. I always wear a 10.5 but had to move up to an 11.

I'm getting desperate for a new pair of Kaha's but they have to be all black..no details in a differ color. Last black Kaha for women had a blank blue shoe lace and baby blue on tong. This cost me extra money to buy new laces, sewing seam ripper to remove the baby blue ribbon. Just please all black.I'm begging you. What's good for mens is good for women!!!

The construction of this shoe is superb. But the fit is weird. I have a history with Hoka (speedgoat 2, speedgoat 3, clifton 1) where I've been a 44 2/3 or a 45 1/3 (with an extra insole). These are my first with gore-tex lining. I was looking for a waterproof hiker with meta-rockers and a Vibram sole so the new Anacapa sounded like a match made in heaven. I ordered the Teal in 44 2/3 and.... Oh boy. First, a minor point, they are not what one would call "teal," just blue. But THEY WERE HUGE, and they made my feet hurt. My foot swam inside, I couldn't lace them tight enough, the eyelets practically met in the middle. I added orthopedic insoles on top of the OEM and they were still big! And they made my feet hurt oh so bad. Even just city cycling my feet ached! So I figured no problem, get the 44's! I got the tiger-eye orange. Again the color was underwhelming, but... These were a tiny bit too small! I have to freshly trim my toenails and tightly tie-down my forefoot to keep my big toe from rubbing on the top-front. And lace-lock at the top is definitively obligatory. Maybe I am lazy, or maybe it it is my special foot anatomy, but I want a shoe where I can slip them on and quickly tie them loosely and be comfortable, and then be able to tie them down for technical trekking. I'm hoping as I break them in more they will continue to meld to my feet. They are great shoes, if they fit you. For me, I'm hoping they are OK-enough with time. SO yes, I recommend you try them, but don't be surprised if you return them.

Great every day hiker. Very attractive show! A little warm from the Gore-Tex in southern summers.

I bought these shoes for work. I'm a RN and walk around 4-5 miles a shift at work. I've worn these shoes about 6-7 times before noticing the vibram soles separating from the shoe already.

Wear shoes for work. I work outdoors and am on my feet all day.

Well made but too narrow in a D. Company should offer an E width or make toe box in D more generous. Company only offers EE or EEE in some styles- too wide

The shoes feel good on the feet but have a bad design flaw. The heel sticks out too far in the back and is a tripping hazard going down stairs untill you get used to them. Hoka has another model that is even worse so be careful when you buy them till your feet learn to adjust

THE SHOES ARE VERY WELL MADE. I TRIED THE SHOE IN A 12 D BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE TIGHT IN THE TOES AND MAKEING THEM UNCOMFORTABLE. LOVE THE COLOR AND THE CUSHION IN THE INSOLE IS VERY GOOD. I WOULD LIKE TO HERE FROM SOMEONE TO SEE IF THIS SHOE COMES IN A WIDER SIZE.

Hoka is either too loud or too old looking with the thick soles. On running is more stylist so prefer those honestly.
