My husband and i both got a pair. He ordered a half size down. I ordered my normal size. Very comfortable out of the box.

I used the sizing guide as provided which said if I wore an ASICS size 12 medium, then I should order a size 12 medium for the Hoka One One Anacapa Low which I did and they fit perfectly. They are odd looking with the large heel overlap and look like corrective shoes but so far so good. They are very light and very comfortable with the plus being they have goretex for those morning with wet grass.

Great trail shoe. The most important reason I keep buying HOKA shoes? Customer service. I shop online frequently, and I have never encountered better customer service. Anywhere. Ever.

I hike the Boise foothills almost daily, and after the first wearing, these have become my go-to shoes. Love 'em!

I have been hiking for many years and have owned lots of hiking boots/shoes. The new Anacapa low hiking shoes are incredible. Very supportive and super comfortable. They seem to be well made and hopefully will stand up to the rigors of trail and off trail hiking.

Purchased the low version and also a speedgoat 4 GTX. So far the Anacapa is winning out in comfort and allow for more room in the toe box versus the SG4 which is a little more tight. Also I like the protective toe cap and side leather on the Anacapa which should hold up better on the trails. My one and only gripe for the Anacapa is the extended heel which makes the shoe feel very long especially for someone who wears a size 14. Other than that its very comfy and looks to be of good quality. Not sure of the reviewers who stated its very narrow it feels no more narrow then any other Hoka I've tried, Arahi, SG4, Stinson, etc.

Do not purchase if you use orthotics. Great shoes, but didn't work with orthotics. I've successfully worn orthotics with the Bondi model for years. Tried my normal size and half size larger, but too shallow. My toes were crushed in normal size and heel slid out and foot slipped around in larger size. Trying the Challenger next based on reviews of others. One complaint I have about Hokas in general is that they don't tend to be very attractive. The Challenger is only available is either wild or unattractive colors. Need more mainstream options.

I usually wear an 11 or 11.5. I ordered 11.5 and they are too small. I'll order a 12 which is a size I never wear, but these are sized small

Loving my Hokas in general -- but I will say that for something like footwear, especially hiking footwear, companies that send follow-up emails asking for reviews within a week of the product's delivery are not really thinking things through very thoroughly ;-) I expect these'll be great but I need to get them out on the trail (happening next week) -- too bad the marketing dept. isn't more patient, doubt I'll hear from them after I have the answer they'd like to hear.

A sturdy and stable shoe with a nice blend of support and cushioning. It is a bit narrow for me, so a wide option would be nice. A got a 1/2 size larger than normal in hopes of gaining some more width. I added lock laces elastic laces, which helped the fit. Not very breathable, but having the Gortex is great - works well. Overall a nice looking, quality shoe.

I’m a huge Hola fan and love the styling of these shoes but they felt small and pinched the outer edge of my foot bad so I’m sending them back.
