I had to settle for these shoes as the pair that i wanted have been out of stock for months and are still not available.

The shoes were fine for outdoor wear but indoors the Vibram soles almost act like velcro on carpets and I tripped repeatedly as the shoes caught in the carpet nap.

Shoe color is a little lighter than I expected but not really a big deal. Will take awhile to break them end. Put overall a great shoe.

I work in the ER, some days walking up to 15 miles. My feet feel great when I get home after a 12 hr shift. Only complaint is that the Gortex design isn't very breathable and it makes for a very stinky end of the day. My waterproof onclouds were less comfortable than these, but never smelled as bad. Hoping maybe they break in a little more overtime and maybe breathe a little more.

I was looking for a casual everyday shoe that was waterproof and comfortable. I like the understated the black on black look. I've had them for about a month and really like them.

These shoes fit well and are very comfortable. The soles are so thick and cushy that they take a little more effort to walk in and overcome the spongy feel, but I do like them.

I'm a dog walker 6 hours per week at county shelter. I walk 4-7miles each time, sometimes in rain, often in muddy areas or wet grass

I love these shoes But i really wish Hoka would make a steel toe composite shoe for the blue collar workers. Ya'll would really be making a profit with how comfy the shoes are.

Sole not as soft as I thought it would be. Closer to firm.

I'm just starting to wear them around, and so far so great. These are my 2nd pair of Hokas. I wanted to point out in the headline, that the sales team at the Michigan Ave store in Chicago were awesome. I was exchanging a gift, and the size I wanted wasn't in stock. So it was delivered just a few days later. I feel bad I didn't get their names, but the sales lady and the manager at the time was awesome (would they be noted in my purchase record?). Please send them my gratitude! P.S. Additional comments about question below about recommending - as much as I like Hoka shoes, they are out of my price range. If it wasn't a gift, I may not have gotten them myself. Hence, I'm hesitant to recommend them to friends.

I use this product daily for short trail walks. Unlike my previous HOKA purchase 3+ years ago, these shoes do not have the same cushioning.

They do not feel as good as my first pair of Hokas. I was wanting a black pair but they are not offered in black in the model I purchased last year. The first ones felt amazing. I will see if these form up to my foot better.

Absolutely love the Anacapa Low GTX (Tiger's Eye / Black) but had to return. Just too narrow & shoe not offered in a 'wide.' Don't understand why a company offers a 'wide' only in selective models & not all models in its current product line. Do understand the the previous/projected sales numbers & inventory carry costs do factor into any product build decision(s). But if you are a footwear company, shouldn't Hoka value its 'wide' foot customers just as much as its 'regular' foot customers and want to sell as many units as possible ? On behalf of all the 'big & wide' foot customers out there, Hoka's committment to providing a wider range in sizing would be greatly welcomed & appreciated & supported. Any chance this Anacapa Low GTX comes back in the 2023 Line & any chance 'wides' will be added?

Urban hikes, both on and off pavement. Great ankle support, stability. Feels just a tiny bit bulky, but not overly so. Not quite as cushiony as Bondi8. Still, a great shoe. Would give it a 4.5

Too narrow for me (D width). These shoes are stiff. They do not have the soft, step-absorbing sole you would expect in a Hoka shoe.

Fit like a glove. Great Holas that are a bit stiffer than others. But for hiking you need firmer soles.

I really liked these shoes but turns out they were a bit narrow. I was attempting to replace my Hoka Challenger shoes that have served me very well for the last year. Believe I will try the Hoka Bondi SR.

Shoe was a bit wide for a regular"D" but worked good from! NOW- JUST A Tad Wide Not really way wide!!! The only thing I would like is a longer shoe lace- I cannot use the lock laces that the shoe was designed for- about 2" short-

Wearing them as golf shoes. Started out really comfortable but then not so much. Maybe wore them too long the first day.

Bought these for trail hiking. Very comfortable and stable. The length of the soles do make them look huge though! The cushioning really helps during and after walking! My feet, hips, and knees feel better after trying these for a few eeks now! The bottoms are soft and the tread / though agressive will probably wear fairly quick ~ we'll see. The left shoe does make a sound when walking a steady pace as if they are too long and they flap up towards the toe. But they do not slip on my feet and they feel very good. Hopefully after they are broken in more the sound will ease up.
